Firstly, Lake Garda is absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend it as a holiday destination.

We booked a two-bedroom apartment for myself and my mum, as we felt this would be much nicer than booking two separate hotel rooms. We were on a half-board basis, but having the apartment gave us space to relax together on the veranda while the other person was getting ready. The apartment itself was quite basic, but the air conditioning was excellent and kept the room lovely and cool during the very hot weather. The shower was also very good.

The free shuttle service worked well and the drivers were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had an excellent choice of food. The waiters and waitresses were also friendly and always happy to help when needed.

Unfortunately, our experience with reception staff was disappointing. We found them unhelpful, unfriendly and, at times, bordering on rude.

We arrived around lunchtime, checked in and were simply handed a key with very little information or welcome. The TUI brochure advertises an on-site shop, but this is only open from 8–10am, which we had already missed on our first day. We also had a pre-booked excursion the following morning, so we knew we would miss it again. A sign on the shop window advised guests to speak to reception outside of opening hours, so I politely asked whether we could just have some milk to make a drink (was happy to pay) after our flight. The answer was simply “no”. I then asked where the nearest shop was and was just told “Garda”, which felt very unhelpful.

Reception also failed to mention many of the hotel amenities, such as padel, yoga, the spa facilities, or even that there was a café at the pool bar. There was no information offered or attempt to explain what the hotel had available.

Our pre-booked TUI excursion required us to meet the rep at 7:30am in Garda, but the hotel shuttle does not start until 9am. I asked reception whether they could pre-book a taxi for us and was told no. There were some taxi numbers listed on the hotel app, but none were able to offer an early morning pickup.

I then contacted TUI directly and the rep I spoke to was extremely helpful. Within half an hour, our rep had organised a taxi for the following morning. It would be useful if the reps number was provided in advance especially as there was no rep visiting the hotel for the duration of our visit.

When we got the shuttle into Garda, we found there was actually a supermarket directly behind the shuttle drop-off point something reception could easily have told us.

We also had to specifically ask for the safe key, as this was not offered at check-in, and only noticed there was a hotel map available after seeing other guests with one. Small details like this would make a big difference to the overall guest experience if they were included during check-in.

Overall, while Lake Garda itself was wonderful and there were positive aspects to the stay, the poor customer service from reception really let the hotel down.

Unfortunately, because of this, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Dopo uno scambio di messaggi whatsapp mi accordo per una camera, che mi viene detto essere l’ultima, per la sera stessa. La receptionist mi comunica che mi avrebbe inviato una mail per formalizzare la prenotazione. La mail non arriva e così lo segnalo con messaggio whatsapp: nessuna risposta. Allora telefono e la stessa receptionist mi dice che nel frattempo la camera non è più disponibile e mi propone un appartamento, ovviamente a prezzo maggiorato. Non accetto e mi reco altrove. Il giorno dopo mi arriva una mail con un offerta per il giorno dopo a quello richiesto. Una struttura che ha bisogno di fare questi giochetti per vendere gli alloggi, oltre che scorretta, non mi sembra all’altezza di quello che dice di essere.

We were a bit concerned with some previous reviews. We were so pleasantly surprised because of these. We returned on 18th October. 2 adults 2 kids 16 and 10.

Accommodation - we had a superior suite, when we emailed to ask for 2 single beds for the kids instead of a sofa bed this was no problem. Room was exceptionally clean and spacious. Furniture is a bit dated but no stains on material etc. Terrace just beautiful with chairs and loungers. Great shower, room cleaned at any time you liked every day, fresh towels and sheets daily too.

Food - We went half board. Breakfast is bog standard but fresh, great coffee continental and cooked dishes to choose from.
Evening meal.... we were most concerned about this as we have been all over Italy and never had a bad meal! 3 choices per night - meat, fish or vegetarian. The food was superb, quite high end I'd say. If you're a fussy eater just order from the kid’s meals burgers, chips etc. Fab salad bar and as many desserts as you can fit in. Honestly no idea why anyone would complain about the food.
The bar cafe was closed for season so no daytime snacks. We just stocked up on break, meat, fruit from Garda.

Shuttle Bus - Morizio the driver is fabulous. Free service into Garda. Issue is it only holds 8 people. Coming back to the hotel we witnessed arguments as people just blatantly ignoring queues and trying to get on. Found it a bit stressful if I'm honest. Morizio tried his best. Bus too small I'd say.

Staff are absolutely wonderful from arrival to departure. Cannot do enough for you. Special shout out to Yolanda from reception.

Pool is Olympic size - cold. Fine for us Scots (and nice when you actually start to do lengths) but not for kids and can't stay in for long.

All grounds are immaculate and as all rooms are on steep slopes a wee buggy will take you around if needed (we didn’t)

We played golf, swam, used the family hour at the spa, ping pong and drinks on the terrace.

Verona - Nice but very busy
Ferry to Sirmione - beautiful place.

My advice is don’t listen to the haters. We'd go back no problem.

Torneremo sicuramente, anche in una stagione con un clima più mite e caldo per sfruttare anche tutte gli altri Vostri servizi, quali piscina all’aperto, campi da tennis e Padel.

Just a couple of little details, the room while clean was a little tired looking, however sheets and towels changed regularly and very clean.
The kettle was a little far away from the socket so awkward to plug in.
The view of Lake Garda from our room was amazing. The staff very friendly and helpful Perhaps there could have been more shuttles on but Mauricio the shuttle driver was very cheerful and upbeat and definitely a highlight of our stay.
The resort grounds were extremely well kept and swimming pool very clean. The food in the restaurant was good especially the breakfast with good variety.

Good sports facilities, very good gym. Didn't use the restaurant but lots close by. Nice walk into Garda. Rooms are ok but do need some updating especially in the kitchen.

Per il resto un posto ed una struttura da sogno.

A lovely resort with amazing views over lake Garda. Rustic but clean apartments and efficient curtesy bus to resort on a daily basis. Stunning pool with plenty sun loungers. Have booked again for next year.

All the staff were very friendly & helpful, rooms & grounds were clean & well maintained. Facilities are outstanding, just needs better awareness made for 'customer use'. Initially there were problems with the regularity of the shuttle bus, but after a few complaints this was sorted out. One improvement, if possible, would be a shuttle bus run for the evening to allow people to enjoy the town more. Only options were an expensive taxi ride or an unattractive 3km walk.
