I ordered Rex specs for my Border Collie, Molly. She has been in a cone for 5 weeks due to a corneal ulcer. The ulcer is healed with scarring still to heal so I invested in Rex Specs goggles. They are more expensive than many others but are really worth the money. They are excellent quality with good shaping around the nose. They have mesh around the sides and foam to make them easier to wear. Changing the lens is straight forward. Molly soon got used to them with a smelly treat for wearing them.

Absolutely incredible experience! The manager, Ashley, was incredibly helpful when we were selecting new harnesses for our two pups. We’ve always struggled to find harnesses that fit them comfortably, support their mobility, and give us control. Ashley not only helped us find the perfect fit but also provided us with valuable information we didn’t even know we needed. No other place has ever taken the time to assist us in finding the right fit and educate us to make walking the dogs easier. We cannot thank or recommend them enough.

We were having trouble with our Lab 'Sonny' pulling on the lead while on holiday in the Lake District. Ashley greeted us at the shop with much enthusiasm & desire to help us solve this, she asked us questions about how we walk Sonny & what kind of thing we thought could help us. Ashley recommended the Gencon clip to collar dog headcollar, she gave us a short practical lesson on how to use this with Sonny before we bought the product and that was invaluable! It turned out to be a great buy so thank you so much for your great service!

I had the most lovely time at Podgy Paws, I was helped by Ashley and she was just the best! Everyone was super sweet and kind with me and my pup Nala… Made my day! She looks so smart in her new harness!

I've only ever bought harnesses for my miniature schnauzer puppy online but ours broke on the first day of our holiday. Luckily we came across the shop and went in. They actually tried the harness on Alfie and made sure it was a good fit. So pleased with the result and the harness is great. One happy and safe puppy. Alfie was spoilt with some treats too. Thank you.

We went to purchase a harness for our bull terrier and we were served by Ashley who was friendly and very helpful gave us lots of advice about a dog harness and fitted it properly to our dog.

Many thanks to Ashley for looking after Amy for a harness fitting. As ever with this establishment, great staff, great service, great advice, large product range. It is odd but we wait to visit Keswick for dog purchases even though we live in a big city (and have Amazon Prime!)

Our go to shop for our dogs when in the lakes. On this visit we bought one harness and 2 collars. Ashley was patient with us and was happy to help us try the harness and collars on making sure the fit was just right. No upselling, just expert advise to make sure our dogs were comfortable and secure. Oh and the pup treats to thank us for visiting were a lovely touch thank you, see you again next time 🐶 🐶

After visiting the website I enquired by email about a dog carrier ruck sack. Chris returned my email very quickly and kept me updated on stock levels and colours. The payment and ordering took place over the telephone, which gave me the opportunity to have a chat with Chris. The communication throughout was fantastic - proper old fashioned customer service. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic choice of quality products all available in stock. The Dog Copenhagen range of harnesses and leash’s are without doubt my favourite brand - excellent quality of manufacture, comfortable for my Jack Russell to wear all day and extremely durable and hard wearing materials.

Excellent, first class service. Staff so very helpful and friendly, many other retailers should watch and learn!! I ordered two waterproof dog coats but had to return one as it wasnt the right fit (a little to small for my big hairy Collie)!!. The staff were so helpful in talking me through the returns policy and even ensured the correct size I wanted was placed on one side until they had received the coat I was returning. I was even emailed to say they had received the returned coat and the replacement coat was being dispatched. The turn around in me posting out the coat and receiving the replacement was extremely efficient. The new coat fits perfectly. There was even a little personal note from 'Team Podgy' inside the package which was a beautiful finishing, extra touch!! Well done Team Podgy. Highly recommended.

Incredible service! I phoned and asked for advice following one of my old doggos having emergency eye surgery - Gill was so helpful. She listened patiently and found a small pair of Rex Specs for me in stock. She organised things for me so quickly - I received my parcel three days later securely packed in environmentally friendly packaging. Can't recommend them enough. This was my first purchase - I'll definitely be back! An altogether wonderful experience.

Fabulous Service from this Great Pet Shop . We visited with Monty our FoxRed Lad on Tuesday 17th September for advice on a new harness for Monty we were given fabulous service by the girl whose name I didn’t catch . A credit to the shop as she took great care of explaining and what was needed even watching us walk him outside to check all good . Great shop with excellent service and a must visit when in town with your pet , keep up the great work and will be back with our new Black Lab Pup next year I’m sure . Many thanks Monty 🐾

What an amazing shop! We visited Keswick while on holiday and took our doggies into Podgypaws. They have the most amazing selection of everything you could think of for your pets. Alex was unbelievably knowledgeable about all the items we were interested in and was able to answer every question we had. She was so helpful and patience while we were fitting our dogs into a backpack which we ended up buying thanks to Alex’s help. Can’t recommend this Pet shop enough and you really have to visit for yourself you won’t leave without buying something as they have so much. Thanks again and we will be back when we are in the area.
