🚨 EXPOSING [COMPANY NAME] FOR…

🚨 EXPOSING Plearuedrome FOR RETALIATION & UNFAIR DISMISSAL 🚨

🧵 THREAD: How Pleauredrome tried to silence me for exercising my legal rights & why they are now facing potential legal action.

This is a clear case of retaliation, breach of contract & employment law violations. 👇

1/ I was dismissed & my contract was not renewed at plearuedrome for doing something COMPLETELY LEGAL—submitting a Subject Access Request (SAR) under UK GDPR.

Employers CANNOT legally retaliate against someone for requesting their own data. But that’s exactly what happened to me.

2/ Under UK GDPR Article 15, every individual has the right to request a copy of their personal data. This is a legal right.

But instead of following the law, [Company Name] chose to terminate my contract early & deny my renewal—WITHOUT CAUSE.

3/ This isn’t just unethical. It’s potentially UNLAWFUL.

Retaliation for submitting an SAR could be Automatic Unfair Dismissal under UK employment law. That means I DON’T EVEN NEED 2 YEARS OF SERVICE to take legal action.

4/ They even refused to provide a written statement for my dismissal, which is REQUIRED under Section 92 of the Employment Rights Act 1996.

🔴 By law, an employer must provide a written reason for dismissal upon request within 14 days.
🔴 They ignored this legal requirement.

They thought I wouldn’t notice. They were wrong.

5/ It doesn’t stop there.

I also made a Freedom of Information (FOI) request & an Environmental Information (EIR) request regarding [relevant topic, if applicable].

🚨 Shortly after, my contract was TERMINATED. 🚨

Coincidence? I don’t think so.

6/ I have now officially reported them to the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) for data protection violations & filed a case with ACAS for unfair dismissal & retaliation claims.

Next stop? Employment Tribunal.

7/ Companies like this think they can intimidate employees into silence by firing them for knowing their rights.

They bet on people staying quiet.

Needs a lot of improvement

Their website does not provide a clear admittance policy even though they have one. This past weekend, a friend of mine and I went in. He was kicked out while we were getting ready in the locker room. Apparently because he was banned over a decade ago. They did not provide further information other than he was banned. They refunded him, but did not refund me even though I did not go past the locker area. Their reasoning was that I still could have gone in, even though I did not want to. Not providing an admittance policy while having one is a bit ridiculous. Mostly when they could not explain why he was banned, and why they would not refund me if I clearly did not use their services.
