I phoned, only to be told “obviously, it’s in our T&C’s”!!
They might be able to deliver on Monday, but might not. Cant confirm either way and, I must wait in all day on Monday to sign!
PJH. I use Screwfix because its all in stock, and if its not, its next day delivery -guaranteed! No waiting in all day for deliveries! Making me wait in all day completely defeats your purpose for being. I may as well drive to B&Q in the evening, thus making you redundant.
Your competitors will leave in a safe place if I click to accept responsibility. This is great. Your attitude is completely polar opposite to the business principles of your client - Screwfix.
I’ll be careful in future. Anything with involves you, I’ll go elsewhere.
Horrible delivery driver
Horrible delivery driver, refusing to move the van when they had blocked me in. Then persisted to say that I shouldn’t have parked outside of people’s flats when I work literally around the corner and parking is very limited in Chapel Allerton, Leeds. Also I was parked outside of the Methodist centre not directly outside of people’s flats. Then started joking about how they would take it slow, really rude for no reason what so ever! Maybe don’t park your massive van on a tiny street if you’re going to take more than 10 minutes to unload items.
Absolute amateurs,use at your peril
Was supposed to receive a bathroom cabinet ordered via Screwfix last Friday,the cabinet was so badly damaged the driver didn't even take it out the van,delivery rearranged for Monday,waited in all day,never turned up,no explanation.3rd attempt was today,was told it would be delivered by 2pm,by 4.30pm,no delivery,phoned the contact number for PJH to be told its not coming,because it's damaged again,and once again no one had contacted me to advise me,absolute jokers and why Screwfix are using this farce of a company is beyond me,I will be very reluctant to ever use Screwfix for delivery again.

Ordered a fridge from screwfix, next day delivery. Called the helpline to say I"ll be home from work 1:30 pm. They called to deliver 11am, told driver to leave in my driveway. He refused. Call centre then offered me another delivery 3 days later. I again informed them Im working and can be home after 1:30. Informed there are no timeslots, and I need to be home all day.
Screwfix, dump this shit service and find a carrier that can give timeslots.

Really positive experience with PJH
Really positive experience with PJH. Delivered our vanity unit and basin on behalf of B&Q, punctual and friendly delivery guys - rang to say what time they would arrive and appeared on the dot.
Also spoke to their customer service a few days prior to delivery - the lady was courteous and very helpful.

We ordered an oven after 3pm from Screwfix on Tuesday afternoon last week. On Screwfix website it states that if ordered before 3pm, there would be next day delivery and we chose for it to be delivered on Thursday instead.
First text was confirmation delivery on 19th (Thursday) no time given. Wednesday was confirmation again giving time between 12-15 hrs for 19th.
Thursday morning we had text for oven to be delivered 20th 11-1900 hrs… then 7.30-10.30am.
We stayed in again. Nothing came. Husband called 3 times after nothing arrived, ultimately told delivered Monday.
Called Screwfix on Monday as it didn’t arrive. Had to chase the callback. Ultimately, PJH contacted us and we received delivery on the Tuesday. Really fed up with being messed around.
To date, no apology for the inconvenience. Won’t use Screwfix for items to be delivered again.
It was my error - the driver fixed it
It was my error. I wrote the delivery address as my home address, but mistakenly wrote my work post code down (about 10 miles away). The drivers route had been planned - and I was asking him to fix my mistake, and drive miles out of his way when he no doubt already had a busy schedule. He didnt have to - but he did. I dont know of any other delivery company that would have been kind enough to do that. Thank you so much. 5* Service.

I ordered a bathroom cabinet from the B&Q store in Inverness on the 2nd February, which should have been delivered on the 9th February.
I should have received a call from the carrier on Friday the 6th February, to arrange delivery for Monday the 9th. No call was received.
I have made repeated calls to the Customer Service Dept of B&Q last week to find out what was going on and was told someone would call me back. Again, nobody has called me.
I called again on Monday 16th February trying to find our more information. Someone was going to call me back. Nobody did.
Today, Tuesday the 17th February, I have called B&Q Customer Services (in India) and called their store in Inverness. Also called their main carrier PJH to see if they can help. No they can’t – they’ve passed it to another carrier.
Now, they tell me that the product I ordered 15 days ago, will not be delivered until the 23rd February.
AND THIS IS DELIVERING TO AN ADDRESS THAT IS AROUND 20 MILES FROM INVERNESS. You’d think it was 200 miles!
You couldn't make this stuff up.
The service provided by B&Q and their delivery companies is dreadful.
And whilst PJH are not actually physically delivering my item, because they have passed it onto another local carrier, PJH are also at fault because they should be monitoring everything and ensuring that the item is delivered when it should be.
If you want anything delivered by these companies… well then I wish you luck because if it ever turns up, you’ll be amazed. As I will be if what I ordered does finally arrive, 21 days after I originally ordered it!
IF AMAZON CAN DO NEXT DAY DELIVERIES, I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHY OTHER DELIVERY COMPANIES CANNOT DO THE SAME!

I was almost put off ordering and relying on PJH to deliver after reading more negative reviews to positive.
I sympathise with people who have had a bad experience with PJH but my experience with them was outstanding.
They kept me informed of delivery date, time and a two man team who carried a heavy shower screen to my second floor flat and indoors. Very polite.
I can only suggest if anyone is uncertain to use them, try contacting them before you place any order through the shop you choose. Discuss your delivery requirements.
Personally I have to recommend PJH based on my experience.
Absolutely useless - not worth even 1 star
I was assured by email and text that my order would be delivered to my home address yesterday - but it wasn’t. In fact it was delivered to the depot of another carrier 120 miles away, the excuse being that they do not deliver to my area - despite knowing my address when they confirmed the delivery date. This is the second time a Screwfix order has not been delivered at the contracted time by PJH and it is apparent from the overwhelming number of bad Trustpilot reviews that my experience is standard for a company which claims to put it’s customers first. Regretfully, Screwfix do not appear to be able to control the delivery logistics - which will make me think twice before ordering anything requiring delivery in the future. I have now contacted the carrier charged with delivering my order and have been advised it will be another 5 days before this will be accomplished.

Pjh deliver regularly to our property which is rural, tricky access and not easy to find. They are unfailing reliable, efficient, cheerful (even in a downpour!) and courteous. Easy to understand why large companies such as B & Q use pjh.
We’ve experienced repeated delays with…
We’ve experienced repeated delays with PJH deliveries, and we have found, as many other reviewers have also mentioned, that delivery dates are often changed without any prior notification. This has caused significant disruption to our project scheduling.
What’s most disappointing is that when we raised these issues, PJH refused to take any responsibility or offer a solution. As a supplier, reliability and communication are key, but unfortunately, both have been lacking in our experience.
We hope PJH reviews their processes and improves their communication and customer service going forward.

Driver was awful and refused to deliver to my property despite just having a 16 ton lorry delivering to us he wouldn't drive his small 7.5 ton van!

JOKE.. feel like I'm wiping the backside of this company - doing their job for them - ??? What did I pay for???

pjh were excellent in terms of communication of the logistics of the delivery which resulted in an easy flow and wonderful experience;
the pjh delivery driver turned up within the alloted time slot and was super helpful and friendly;
he provided an excellent service which i am very grateful for.
