Then I changed the size so it was smaller, and once again asked for more money!!
I asked for a refund and had to chase even though they told me I would receive it. Still not received it.

We ordered stainless steel pipe fittings to be delivered to site and paid extra for nex day delivery before 12.00 Midday.
Our guys waited all next day and the items did not turn up.
Then we were told it would be the next morning definatley and it still did not turn up.
Then we were told they had been delivered to the site office, we checked the site office and all CCTV for that day and know deliver was made.
We were then told that there was nothing they could do about it, it was our responsibilty to take delivery of the goods, not there responsibilty to deliver it. Tehy would not issue a re-fund or re-send repalcement goods.
‘Pipe NIGHTMARE Fittings’ would be accurate !
Not a pleasant company to deal with in any shape or form, wish I had never ordered from them, as it led to a drawn out formal credit card dispute to get a resolution.
I’d ordered what I believed to be a suitable handrail and uprights as my wife is struggling with the stairs to our property, based on their website it depicts a nice new shiny handrail, what arrived was just a mess of damaged metal work badly scuffed up and they refused to accept my consumer right to reject forcing my hand into a credit card dispute, Be wary !

Ordered two handrails for stairs in oak. Company sent the wrong colour. Also the fittings for the end were not flush. Company would only accept return at my cost even although it was there fault. Cost me 30 quid to get a refund. They offered to send out more but it was part of a larger project I was purchasing in stages so couldn't risk them all being different colours. Also the quality was poor for the money. Very poor customer service. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Investigation
Emailed company asking for quote on small order. No reply. Phoned them to be told estimator on A.L but would reply on his return next day.
No reply. Phoned to ask about quote and receptionist said she would look into it but to resend my enquiry. Resent enquiry..
Three days later. No reply.
Asked to speak with manager who took my email address and would sort problem later that morning. Two days later No Reply.
In 60 years of dealing with customer services this company is by far the worst.It
appears they don't want the orders or can't be bothered with small order for

very poor customer service.
We have spent over £5,000 on materials with this company, and the experience has been consistently disappointing. We have to chase for updates on almost every order, and deliveries are regularly later than promised with no proactive communication.
Around 1 out of 5-6 orders has issues, including shortages and, on one occasion, a completely missing parcel. Despite chasing more than 15 times for an update on the missing item, we were bluntly told by staff (finally) that everything had been sent from their side, with no real effort to investigate or resolve the issue.
Customer service is extremely poor. The sales team passes responsibility around, and every call involves speaking to a different advisor. There is no continuity, accountability, or ownership of problems, which makes resolving even basic issues unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming.
While the material quality itself is good, the unreliable deliveries, poor communication, and lack of customer care significantly undermine the overall experience. This level of service is unacceptable for a company handling orders of this value.
Dreadful Company
Shocked by the quality of the brackets supplied with these shelves. The reclaimed scaffold shelves themselves are beautiful, but the brackets are simply not fit for purpose.
The first set arrived made from poor-quality, weak steel, badly finished, and supplied with screws far too small for the job. They were literally handed over in a Sainsbury’s Ziplock bag, which says everything about the level of care.
After a lot of time, repeated phone calls and unnecessary stress, the company agreed to send replacements. I was shown a design which I approved, only to later discover this was just a random photo taken from a website. What actually arrived over a week later was nothing like what I had been shown, was the wrong size, and was shockingly finished with sharp edges.
Once again the company apologised and, during a phone call, finally admitted that the brackets were poor quality and incorrect. They offered yet another replacement, but by this point it was clear they simply cannot deliver what they promise.
There was no offer of compensation, no concern that I now won’t have a functioning kitchen for Christmas, and absolutely zero empathy. Instead, polite but powerless sales staff were left to deal with the fallout.
Dreadful company. Avoid.

Brilliant product and unfortunate problem sorted
Firstly I would like to say is the product is excellent and of excellent quality. I ordered 2 x 60cm x 24cm x 4.4cm reclaimed scaffold board shelves and 2 sets of brackets. Unfortunately 1 of the boards was only 4cm thick and noticeable due to both shelves going near each other. Contacted Beth who requested some photos of the problem. A couple of days later was told a replacement would be sent. My fault but I ordered rustic brackets thinking they were black but they show the silver where they smooth the welding down. These were replaced with powder coated ones which are way superior in look. The only criticism I would have is their communication could do with improvement as it takes me to email to get any answers of what is happening. All in all would highly recommend them as the product is fantastic and read the small print as it does mention 25% restock fee etc for errors of your own doing. Order 1220316
Avoid
Avoid, Ordered 2 pipe reducers and 2 nipples' with 2-3 day delivery. The 2 nipples' where delivered 10 days later phoned and asked about the reducers' told they couldn't get them so i email and asked them to cancel the order. Received a reply saying the rest would be with me later that day. they never arrived.
Complained an cancelled only to be told they will deduct a restocking charge.
In the end i kept the nipples' and cancelled the reducers' they couldn't supply and never got the delivery charge refunded.
This company tells lies and spends part of the order to prevent the customer cancelling.

Been waiting well over a month now for my order. No contact, no help. Just don’t deal with this company.

Purchased 1/2” pipe and pipe fittings.
The 3x lengths of pipe arrived but not the fittings.
I contacted them and they said they don’t send them together because they might get damaged!!!
So their companies in Dudley I live in Cornwall and they send each item individually so it doesn’t get damaged what a load of rubbish. Laughable excuse to be honest I told them to refund but they said they can’t as I’ve got the pipe but the pipe was the cheapest part of the order. They are complete scammers and obviously I won’t get my money back or the fittings do not use this company they will scam you.

I recently order some brass hairpin legs and they arrived within a few days. There was a problem with one and they immediately sent a replacement product. I am very happy with the service that I received.

Extremely Disappointed – Avoid This Company
I’m genuinely beyond disappointed with my experience.
I reached out to this business for a custom item for my home pub shed — something unique — and initially, the service was promising. Beth responded promptly to my emails, answered all my questions, and provided a price for a kick rail for the bar.
My main concern was delivery timing. I specifically asked more than once when I would need to place the order to ensure delivery by Wednesday, July 2nd. I proceeded with the purchase on the understanding that delivery was guaranteed by that date, as I had a handyman scheduled to install it before my pub shed opening party on Friday.
I placed the order on Friday, June 27th, and paid extra for guaranteed delivery by Wednesday, July 2nd.
However, the delivery tracking never updated. On the day of expected delivery, I had to chase them for an update, only to be told — without prior notice — that due to an issue, my item wouldn’t be arriving as promised. They then asked when another delivery date would work. There was no other suitable date — and I had made that very clear.
Despite this, they attempted delivery when no one was available, and the item was rejected.
I requested a refund because the item didn’t arrive on time, even though I had allowed extra time and paid for guaranteed delivery. Since then, the service has been appalling. I was told to allow seven days for a refund — it’s now been 11 days, and all communication from their side has stopped. I’ve had to escalate this through my bank.
Their claim that “customers are at the heart of what we do” is completely false in my experience. I’ve given them ample time and opportunity to make this right, but once they had my money, it felt like they no longer cared.
I’m now out of pocket and without the finishing touch I wanted for my bar.
Avoid this company.

One of the most incompetent companies ever. I bought their pull up bar station, they sent me the wrong parts. I asked for the correct parts to be sent, they then sent the wrong parts AGAIN. I’ve now taken it up with my credit card company to get a refund. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Incorrect items sent but refused to replace/refund
I ordered black pipes and fittings, but Pipedream Fittings sent me black fittings, one black pipe and three silver pipes. They refused to send the correct black pipes and refused to refund for them. I have resorted to writing to Trading Standards.

Absolutely waste of time!! 2 to 3 working days they claim!! Unfortunate they don’t process your order till the following day and then don’t update tracking info!! Stay well away from this incompetent bunch!!
Pipe Dream by name, Pipe Dream by nature
"Pipe Dream" a fanciful or unattainable scheme or hope.
That's how the dictionary has it and it really is quite an accurate description of my experience of this company. That is to say: the idea that my item would arrive in a timely manner: fanciful. And a response from the seller to my repeated enquiries about where it was, if it had even been dispatched at all: unattainable.
My advice: avoid this company and have a happy life. I was fortunate in that I had purchased through PayPal and was able to seek a resolution through them, otherwise I doubt I would ever have seen my money again.
