Most competitive pricing and prompt delivery - only minor issue was that I did not receive any order confirmation after payment. Support was useful in resolving this as soon as I asked.

I have purchased a few times from Photo specialist, and service has always been excellent.

I really wish I had read these reviews before I used photospecialist. Probably the worst online shopping experience I have ever had.

Ordered loads of equipment for our organisation in March. I lost track of the amount of unanswered emails I sent them looking for updates.

I had to call them so many times asking for updates. It completely broke my heart.

The people I spoke to on the phone were always polite and friendly and pleasant. I don't blame them at all. There is obviously just something not working behind the scenes.

I will never use photospecialist again.

I bought a tripod worth €1500 from Photospecialist. It arrived with a small part broken that effects the levelling of the head. The tripod is covered under warranty but photospecialist said that I have to send the entire tripod head back to them for the repair even though I know whats wrong and Sachtler have told me its a small part that they can replace easily. I still use the tripod by using the legs to level so sending the head for repair means that I would have to rent/borrow another tripod as such would not be worth sending off for a "5-6 WEEK REPAIR". Customer support slow/non-existent.

First--the ordered product DID arrive as promised--it was the correct product, in good condition, and delivered on the day promised! So why 2 stars???--The website promised a purchase confirmation within 1-hour of order, or buyer is instructed to contact the company. No order confirmation was received--but it was NOT possible to contact the company through their photospecialist.ie website. The photospecialist.ie email was returned as undelivered and a "permanent error" message, the "chat" button does not function, and their Ireland phone number-+35351349216--rang once or twice and disconnected. Virtually impossible to contact them. After trying multiple times to contact them by email at the photospecialist.co.uk info email address I received confirmation the product had shipped, and indeed it was received today. This company is totally ruining their business by failing to meet the simplest of online retailing obligations--tell the customer their order has shipped, and provide tracking information. I won't order from them again, as I'd rather pay more and know the status and delivery information on my order than have to make multiple attempts to find out the status of an order and wonder if it was a legitimate website the order was placed with.

Parcel was shipped quickly but unfortunately the delivery address was wrong. In fact so wrong the address was non- exsistent. The local postal service messaged me saying "Unable to deliver address incomplete". I then contacted the postal service and was informed that they may not hand over the parcel due to the address error. I then attempted to email Photospecialist, whereupon i discovered that the link on the website was invalid, i.e. the email address didn't exsist. I then tried to phone and an automatic message said 30 minutes wait, but a few minutes in they cut the call twice. As luck had it when i called at the local post sorting centre an operative had recognised an element of the address that was partially correct and it also had the correct post code. She handed me the parcel after i proved my crudentials and stated my post code. I assume that the address error was due to the carrier DHL, given that it was the only label on the parcel.

Ordered a product- it arrived - but the power cable is incorrect (2 pin rather than 3 pin). Have tried all of the "contact us" options but none work. Phone has been disconnected, email bounces back and none of the other options (facetime, chat, ask a question) work

Despite a slick website I am beginning to think this is not a legitimate company

Excellent customer service and speedy delivery

I ordered and they took the money but no confirmation email. I have tried calling, chat and emailing but no response and the emails bounce back.

I have since been contacted and reassured. They also said they will refund the postage. The item arrived this morning and looks good.

USELESS. Don't buy from these people.
Order a lens cap and it took them a week to put it into a box. It's now been shipped but they put the wrong address on it and now I can't get the parcel as A Post won't deliver. Emails just bounce and the phone number has been disconnected.
UPDATE. I did receive the item, very late and I had to do a fair bit of chasing and wasting my time.

I ordered product on their website last week, didn’t get any confirmation . Trying to contact with them thru the email and phone. Email doesn’t exist , phone doesn’t have even singal. Looks like scam to me. There is no way to contact with costumer service

Camera came quickly, but there was an issue with not receiving my order confirmation email so I had to contact customer service. They were very helpful but would have preferred that the order confirmation just sent as it should!

I purchased a Sony a6400 camera today and a couple of hours later I got an email saying it’s shipped here’s your tracking link: but there was no link it was a blank space were my link should be. So I emailed them on their customer service and main info email and I got an error that mail could not be sent to that email. I called them and waited on hold for an hour no one picked up so I hung up. I contacted my bank for a refund and they said legally they can’t charge back until the payment is processed so I’ll have to go through a lot of waiting for nothing.

My order 12260040 went in on the 27 June and I still haven't gotten any delivery. Contacted them last week after a half hour waiting on the phone and was told it would he with me shortly. Emailed them twice and no reply. Have been ringing all morning and when you select any option the line hangs up. Seriously think this website is a scam so will be trying to get a refund as they aren't contactable. Do not buy off them
So an update on my order. I got it there today and was exactly what I ordered. Not a scam company so rest assured from me they are legit. Also got a small token from them for the hassle caused

I had great difficulty completing my order through the website. Eventually, after four attempts the order went through. The receipt said I would receive an email within one hour. It also said that I should contact customer service if I didn't get and email within one hour. It is now 24 hours later and I haven't received an email. I sent two emails over the last 24 hours to the email address suggested on the website, (an .ie address), but both have bounced back as undelivered. I tried phoning but can't get through. I tried setting up an account. The account seems to have accepted my email because I have received several marketing emails form Photospecialist. But when I try to log into my account, I get an error message. This has all the hallmarks of a scam site or else a very poorly run company. If this is a genuine company, could someone please contact me urgently.

I found Photospecialists to be friendly and efficient

I have exactly the same experience, same licke a John I live in Ireland. My experience is the perfect copy John sytuation
When I asked by e-mail where is my camera, which cost me almost 1300 euros, I got the answer from the Customer Service Office
"Dear ..., The order is on his way to you. Hereby the track details JVGL......"
Of course, my package was not there, After a while I got a second email with the following content
" We checked camera footage and the parcel went into the wrong postal cart. This does cause some delay in shipping.
Our apologies for this.
We are doing all we can to get this shipped as soon as possible."

You can forget about quick delivery, liars, they do not have goods in stock, which is why they lie about lost shipments, two identical situations, this is probably not a coincidence
