So I got the phatmoto bike at the beginning of the month , just put it together a few days back, took it for a ride and the back axle snapped on me, i tried to get ahold of customer service but they did not reply back at all.It's like they're trying to let the thirty days run out of the warranty, in other words , when I told them all , they needed to do , send me the new axle , for the faulty , one instead of just replacing it , there just ghosting me... So now I kind of want to return the bike. I was just gonna do the work myself, chalk it up as a cheap, warm transportation, so I'm gonna have issues and just do the work.But they refuse to even send me an axle for the defective part... Please don't buy bike from these people. You will get ripped off if you have a problem, and by the way , if it's a frame problem , you're s o l because that thing is aluminium.

The engine seized on the first ride. Yes I put in the correct amount and type of oil, not that it matters but even if I failed, which I didn't the engine description clams it had low oil shut off. Giving the circumstances this engine failure should of been covered under phat motors warranty they ignored all my attempts to reach out to them including a tangible written letter(certified mail), emails and multiple voicemails what started off as a great accomplishment in saving for this, which started off very excited has turned into a regretful purchase that cases tears,home tension and unplanned expenses.

Worst customer service I've encountered in 35 years of being a working adult with a paycheck able to buy stuff. Literally mind blowing. Brand new motorized bike with a pinhole in the tank spilled all over living room and their solution is sending a liquid tank liner which they never did. They also said they would send a headlight with the bike since I didn't have the right color as the website is out of date and not maintained but they never sent that either. Also tank cap doesn't seal you have to alter that and air filter casing had a hunk out of it. Non-existent customer service and horrible product as their manufacturing partner in China has settings off to the bike which leaves pinholes and holidays in their welds. They also are deceptive and advertised these bikes as private track bikes to avoid these fuel leak violations from the state and federal bodies but on most of their social platforms they don't mention this which is yet another consumer violation act. These are not private track bikes and they have real manufacturing issues and there is no quality control and there's a reason why this company isn't easily reviewed. It doesn't take much digging to figure out who these people are

I bought a phatmoto Rover about 5 months ago and basically every part on it has failed. The spokes came loose on their own a few miles in. I fixed them only for it to happen again and be left with a bent rim. The kick stand fell off and kept falling off until I used my own bolts. The chain tensioner fell off. The engine locks up at complete random. The pull start engages the back wheel so it won't turn on unless I pick up the back wheel, and the engine shuts off as soon as I put the back wheel to the ground. No the carb doesn't need to be tuned, no the chain doesn't need to be adjusted, I've done both. The clutch begins to grind horribly at random. The left petal does not stay on no matter how tight you make it, I bought a second one and it had the same problem of falling off. Despite buying it 5 months ago I haven't even been able to take it 100 miles due to constant failure of parts. To call this company, it's engineers, and it's products worthless would be giving them more credit than they have earned, as they are clearly extremely dedicated to not just being worthless, but to creating a sinkhole of negative worth for you through their products.

Phatmoto Fast bike! This is a fat tire all-terrain motorized bike 4-stroke engine 5-in tires with 10 gauge spokes! The top speed is about 35 mph. I upgraded bike to high performance carburetor. I also took clutch off and oiled with Lucas! I put alarm system on bike, electric horn, speedometer odometer, turn signals, tail light brake light I myself upgraded this bike with these added features! Has a huge saddlebag two mirrors cell phone holder

TL;DR: They avoid you after your order, won't take any responsibility for the way they ship, and as a result of the way they ship things they send you BADLY damaged products.

I ordered a bike for $799, and it shipped the same day. Two stars for that...but that's where the positives end.

It's been a few days now. The engine gets shipped separately, so that was out for delivery this morning. On schedule. Ok. Around 3 p.m. it said delivered on my tracking so I looked and - nothing. Anywhere.

I called UPS automated tracking (obviously it was just a delivery issue at this point and not an issue with Phatmoto -- yet) and found out the proof of delivery was showing it was signed for "Interstate".

I was confused. It wasn't set for 3rd party freight or anything but that was what I was guessing at this point.

So I reached out to Phatmoto and asked if they happened to know anything about the signer for the shipment and was told "hey ask UPS". That's it. The most uncaring "off the hook" individual you could ever speak to. UNBELIEVABLE.

Now I understand not being responsible after shipping but I asked if they knew anything about the signer and they just ignored that and sent me a generic

Possibly a scam...for this price maybe someone they know comes and waits nearby for the truck or flags down the driver? Still have not received. UPS escalated finally but failed to call back as promised earlier. And it is a horrible feeling of being stranded by the seller already even if this isn't their fault...the attitude of "not our problem" is what I'll always remember them for.

EDIT: Tracked down my motor no help from Phatmoto. Now the bike came and I unwrapped it to find a busted derailleur and a twisted chain and the bike frame itsepf has quarter-inch GOUGES all on the frame...for $800.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GARBAGE!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
