Great experience with PGR Building…
Great experience with PGR Building Merchants in Southend. Their prices are very competitive, the service was excellent from start to finish, and the delivery driver was especially helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Very Unprofessional and Poor Customer Service
I went to one of PGR Builders & Timber Merchants’ branches in East London to place a small order, just a few pieces of wood and I didn’t even need delivery. However, I was told they were short on delivery staff and couldn’t process any orders until the following Wednesday.
I found that quite ridiculous, as I was there in person and ready to take the items myself. When I asked why they couldn’t handle a basic order, I was simply told “that’s just how it is.” I suggested they hire more staff if they can’t manage, and left.
Not sure what kind of business they’re trying to run, but it came across as very unprofessional and disorganised.

Competitive and Reliable Service
I have had nothing but 5 star experiences since using PGR. Delivery has always been prompt and as stated and the prices are always very competitive. Colin and his team have been extremely helpful and have always offered excellent and professional customers service.
