I put my surname in incorrectly and submitted and paid for my pet insurance but couldn't correct it afterwards on the website.

Everything has been easy up until the payment process. I hope that the same ease will be found when you have to cover a fee.

Been a loyal customer for 14 years paying the maximum policy. Never really had a problem with them up to this. My young 12 year old daughter and our dog qualified for Crufts a huge achievement. I enquired about an add on to our policy for travel to the UK. It's not available. They won't insure outside the EU. UK is our closest neighbour hundreds of people travel to UK with their pets every year. I asked to escalate and complain young person with attitude eventually agreed. I was called back the next day they agreed to escalate but that's the last I heard of them. No follow up. I am so disappointed in truth I stayed with them from sentiment due to my old dog who died last year. It's 2025 people travel with their pets, our dog goes everywhere with us, the UK is just across the water. Hundreds of Irish dogs are travelling to Crufts in March. Travel to the UK is offered by both major competitors.I

Quick and easy to get pet insurance

We have (had) Pet insurance with this company. They have never paid out on any claim sent to them. On a recent visit to UCD veterinary hospital (different dog and insurance company) the lady at reception told us they are the worst of the companies UCD has to deal with. Very reluctant to pay and the claims process is lengthy to put clients off making a claim.
On top of this they have raised the monthly premium for the coming year from circa €51 per month to €82 per month despite there being no claims on the policy.
The final straw for us with this company is that our debit card has been replaced recently. The monthly debit failed against the old card and they informed us of this on Friday 24.01.2025 which was in the height of Storm Eowyn, (We still have no power at our house with the damage caused during the storm).The mail said they would try for the payment in one day, which was Saturday 25th? We got a mail on Sunday to say that the policy was cancelled and no continuation or reinstatement was possible.
This is an extremely cynical method of trading. The dog is now approaching 5 years old and we have faithfully paid the policy since he was a pup. It is in Blue Insurances interest for to cancel at this point as a claim would be more likely now. We also wont be able to insure the dog with other providers due to his age. I will never use this company for any travel, pet or indeed any other insurance in future. I will purchase from an Irish company (this crowd are Slovenian) in future whom at least can identify with local issues and are not as blatant in the strokes they pull.

Awful !! Frauds! Two claims and they pay nothing and make it as hard as possible! Looking for full history of puppy when he's only 8 months old! Stay away at all costs i will be stopping insurance!

In terms of sourcing insurance providers and reviewing what is on offer - you get what you pay for and certainly the premier plus plan suited our requirements for our beloved pet. Just ensure you read what each level of insurance offers and on renewal. We took out insurance two days ago so have no further comment other then that it was extremely straightforward. No drama and cover immediately. Hopefully any future claim (which we don’t want obviously) will be aswell.

Heard your advertising for pet insurance on the radio I then emailed for a quote. I thought it was very good value so I then went on to purchase insurance for our dog. Very simple very easy to work and great value and real peace of mind for the price☘️ well done from Kerry

After months of waiting long periods for a reply, I sent the vet letter on 12th November that they requested stating that the problem with my dog's ear was due to a yeast infection (which they should have been able to read on the pet history so either they are stupid or they are trying to scam). They then send me an email on the 26th claiming that I have not followed up with my claim even though I got a confirmation email. I emailed back straight away with screenshots of both the confirmation that they received it and the vet letter they wanted. It is the 17th of December now and obviously still no word so I cancelled my subscription with them because why would I keep paying people who are clearly scamming me. I wish I checked the reviews better before wasting my time with them.
