I’ve been studying at IPCS for a diploma of personal care formulation in the past 2 years and I am very grateful to all team members (Tasmin, Rose, Victoria, Hanna & Belinda) who have been very supportive during this time.
IPCS is the best registered training organisation and accredited by the Australian government, which is internationally well known in cosmetics industry.
There are many online cosmetic courses available to choose from but finally I decided to take this course because I could see this institute provides a high quality of education that guide students in a systematic manner and most of all I was impressed by Belinda’s charismatic lectures, which were backed up by her excellent knowledge that I couldn’t find anywhere else.
It’s certainly the right place to study for any cosmetic enthusiasts.

I had an outstanding experience with the Institute of Personal Care Science's online learning program. The course was incredibly well-structured, making it easy to follow and understand. IPCS is the best cosmetic science school out there! I'd made my own DIY products for around 10 years before I was able to attend IPCS. I also took Formula Botanica and School of Natural Skincare courses but I still didn't understand how to create my own products from scratch that actually had a point of difference. I used their formulas and tweaked them a little bit but I didn't know the basic chemistry principles on how and why you should combine different ingredients for different cosmetic applications.

I took the diploma course in IPCS and I actually learned more from the beginners course (the first introduction to the diploma) than I had with previous 10 years. The materials are very good and you don't have to be excellent in chemistry to understand the concepts. That doesn't mean that the course is easy. You have to put in the time and effort to succeed but the quality of the course is excellent. Attending IPCS was definitely one of the best decisions I've made in my life and I'm extremely grateful for my tutors! I definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to start a career in cosmetic formulation or to launch their own skincare/haircare/makeup brand.

Even though I have worked for 7 years in the cosmetic industry, my job is not in direct contact with cosmetic formulations because I am more concerned with the quality and regulation of cosmetics. However, I have a passion in this field and decided to enroll in the diploma program without any expectation except to improve my knowledge and skills in cosmetic formulation. It so happened that in my 5th month of study, the company saw my potential and transferred me as a formulator. I am very grateful to have studied at the Institute of personal care science because my knowledge and skills made my adaptation process in my new assignment as a formulator much easier. All materials are presented very clearly, in detail and most importantly very close to what is actually happening in the industry so that I am not confused when facing problems related to formulas in the workplace.

I looked for a complete approached to formulating, there are a lot of books with a lot of information, but I haven’t found a course that explains everything in an easy way and with practical experience until I found the IPCS Diploma. It is not the same said than done, and that is something that this course considers, all the theory is applied in a practical exercise that helps you realize that what you are learning has a practical sense. For anyone who is thinking about making the Diploma, it is worth it, a nice money investment. Studying the Diploma of Personal Care Formulation, Diploma of Cosmetic Brand Management, and Certificate in Advanced Organic Formulation with IPCS was a second to none experience.

I already raved about how exceptional IPCS is in another review I posted here in February 2022 so I will not repeat myself, BUT I will add that not only have my knowledge, skills and confidence in cosmetic formulation and branding increased significantly, studying with IPCS presented opportunities I never dreamt I’d have, starting with becoming a finalist in Provital’s international Rising Stars Challenge 2022 and having my winning formulation featured in their CareMotives 2023 catalogue. Furthermore, out of the 9 finalists, 5 were IPCS students - if that's not testimony that IPCS is the real deal, I don't know what is!

Prior to purchasing a real diploma course I decided to test it first to be on the safe side, since I have already made a huge mistake by enrolling in another school. Thus I bought a book in Advanced Cosmetic Science and a Workshop on Emulsifiers. Wow, the material is professional indeed. You get THE information you need to be a real cosmetic chemist. The book is detailed starting from foundation and up to chemistry needed for the formulation skills. The workshop on Emulsifiers was great as well. I definitely plan to study at IPSC once I am done with the other school.

I'm a cosmetic chemist and CEO of a skincare company in Lebanon, our company became the number 1 local skincare brand in the country and one of the main reasons is the learning with IPCS, they simply give details that no school other mentions. for example, the white rub in time (cream or gel that makes white while rubbing instead becomes directly transparent, very important for customer perception if the product has been absorbed or not), an issue that we had with the moisturizer and many other products, directly solved very easily after the learning, and this is only one example of many. Simply IPCS is the best and I just love Belinda and the way that she explains professionally and at the same time passionately, Thank you IPCS!

The Institute of Personal Care Science and the entire team are all great. This is an online course where you can have one on one interaction with the tutor and even with Belinda. You become a Cosmetic Chemist with international recognition! I could not attend an in-person university degree due to this being a second profession. As a physician, precision and science are particularly important for me. With the knowledge i am acquiring with IPCS I have the guarantee of having the knowledge needed to launch my brand.
