Perfect Corset NY Clothing Anmeldelser 

I purchased three items from Perfect Corset NY Clothing on 27 and 28 September 2026, totalling approximately THB 8,816. The order arrived in Thailand on 12 October.

Of the three items, only the black Olivia Corset fitted correctly. Although satisfied with its fit, I do not consider it particularly good value for money.

The pink Eva Corset fitted around the waist, but the bust cups were disproportionately large. I requested an exchange for a smaller cup size.

The black Sonnet Midi Skirt was too large despite being ordered in XS, the smallest available size. More importantly, the garment received differs from the product advertised. The website photographs show a smooth front panel, whereas the actual skirt has a prominent horizontal curved seam across the upper front, materially changing its appearance and construction.

I requested an exchange for the corset and a refund for the skirt on 12 October, the day both items were delivered.

What followed has been an extremely disappointing customer service experience.

Despite repeated correspondence, the company initially addressed only the corset exchange and repeatedly failed to acknowledge my request for a refund for the skirt.

For the corset, I was offered the option of keeping the incorrectly sized item and paying an additional fee for a replacement. Why would I want to pay more to keep something that does not fit?

The alternative was to return the items internationally at my own expense, with only five days allowed to arrange the return.

What makes this particularly concerning is the shipping arrangement.

Despite the company’s New York branding, carrier records from YunExpress and 17TRACK confirm that our shipment was fulfilled from mainland China to Thailand, without passing through the United States.

However, Perfect Corset requires returns to be sent to California.

I obtained regular FedEx quotations for returning the two unsuitable items from Thailand to California. The cheapest was approximately THB 5,143, exceeding their combined purchase value of approximately THB 5,017.

In other words, the cost of returning the products could exceed their entire value, even if a full refund were approved.

This creates a substantial financial barrier to returning unsuitable or incorrectly advertised products.

It also took seven days from my initial request to receive a return address, yet the company then imposed a five-day return deadline.

At the time of writing, the dispute remains unresolved. I am still seeking confirmation of the skirt refund and a reasonable, cost-effective return arrangement.

I cannot speak for other customers, but based on my documented experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from this company, particularly international customers.

Before ordering, consider where the products are actually dispatched from, whether the advertised design matches the item supplied, and what it could cost to return anything that does not fit.

I regret not researching the independent reviews more thoroughly before purchasing.

I will update this review if Perfect Corset resolves the matter satisfactorily.

I’m disappointed with my experience with Perfect Closet NYC. I was told my order would arrive within two weeks, but it ended up being delayed by two months. I had purchased it for an event, and it arrived after the event had already passed. The delay and lack of timely delivery made the experience frustrating. I’ve been asking for a refund for 3 weeks now, with no action from them.

Ich schrieb eine e-mail mit der bitte das Corset zurückschicken zu können oder einen Umtausch. Meine e-mail wurde jetzt 2 Wochen später immer noch nicht beantwortet. Zum Glück habe ich nun diese Rezessionen gefunden. Ich werde nun das Corset gewiss nicht mehr zurückschicken. Hätte ich diese Seite hier früher entdeckt hätte ich gewiss nicht bestellt.

If I could leave less than 1 star I definitely would. I purchased 2 kimono type dresses for my sister and me. The dresses arrived balled up in a plastic bag and stuffed in a perforated envelope. Once I took the items out, they looked NOTHING like what was advertised. It resembled a child’s crafting project. The sequins and tassels were falling off. The fabric was cheap and scratchy. When I followed the return procedure and I received an email reply that the items could not be refunded because they had sequins but, they would subtract 20% off and credit me. I told them it was not acceptable and sent them a copy of their refund policy that clearly states “Corsets with sequins are not refundable”. There is NO mention of dresses or gowns. They are now saying I can exchange the items but they will not refund my money. This is clearly a scam business with no ethical responsibility to their customers. I am returning the items to the address on my label in Jamaica, NY and plan to contact American Express about the scam and dispute the charge. Hopefully others are spared from going through the disgraceful and unprofessional treatment and experience. Nothing is worth this. I have emailed the company 4 times and now I’m not getting a response. I can not find a phone number to contact them directly. Beware!

This company is a complete scam. Luckily I paid by credit card and managed to reversed the payment. I never received my order. I wrote to them twice and never got a response.

Horrible fits - I purchased 2 corsets (size L). Even though I’m usually a medium size 10/38, but thought for boob coverage and I’d be able to tighten at the back if need be.
The first Lacey corset barely covers my boobs, one wrong move and I’m flashing everyone. The size is enormous. The lace up back is a cheap elastic string.
The second corset I couldn’t even zip up. So by this logic I’d need an XXL!?
It’s such a shame because it’s actually really nice.
I don’t understand how they can be so inconsistent with sizing and fit. Especially as a company FOCUSING on corsets (and attaching body positivity labels to their clothing - quite funny).

I placed my order Sept 8 2026 for a fringe waist scarf. The second week I reached out as I notice no shipping movement on the item.!I received a response to my email rudely stating it was out of stock and would be in the following week and shipped. I waited again the week went by I sent another request this time no response to the email. My email stated I was not ordering a pre order item and if the scarf was out of stock at the time why did they accept the money and not say the order was back ordered and refund. Today is week 3 no shipping movement no response I will contact the Texas Atty General Office along with Federal level consumer protection to get this scam company out of US BUYER BEeARE do not order from these people

When I made the order I had no idea on the terrible reviews. So when it didn't arrive after like a month I thought.. oh no I've been scammed.
I messaged them on Insta and got a message back straight away. The English was a bit off so I still thought.. yepp I can kiss goodbye to that money.
BUT it arrived this week (took about 1.5 months) and its PERFEFCT and just as I had hoped from the photos! So as long as you are not in a rush I would recommend.

This company seems like a scam. I ordered my item which was $104 on August 20. Today is September 26. ZERO response from the company. I am unable to cancel or get a refund. I have not yet received my order. Delivery tracking not available.

According to the tracking information provided via Instagram, the shipping label was created on August 25, 2026, but the package shows no actual movement or evidence of being shipped. As of September 21, 2026, I have still not received my order.

I am therefore requesting the immediate cancellation of Order #PCNY166903 and a full refund to my original payment method.

I do not accept a replacement, store credit, partial refund, or further delay.

If my refund request is not accepted and processed immediately, I will proceed without further notice by filing a chargeback/payment dispute and submitting formal complaints to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Colorado Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Section, together with all relevant tracking and payment records.

Please confirm immediately that my order has been cancelled and that the full refund has been initiated.

My dress NEVER arrived & it was reported Arrived & I have a Ring camera & live in gated community w security. NEVER arrived!!!! What do I do w this?? dress looks gorgeous online!

I would not recommend buying anything from this brand. The shipping took over 2 months which is absolutely ridiculous considering how expensive the clothing is.

I ordered the same set, a top and skirt, in both black and white. Before ordering, I was told that the tops had a built-in bra. What I actually received were basically just two circular pads inside the top that I assume were supposed to be the “bra.” They did not sit properly at all and, even worse, the circles were completely visible through the fabric. It looked extremely cheap and badly designed, especially for clothing at this price point.

The overall quality was also incredibly disappointing. The clothes are severely overpriced for what you actually receive. I was told the clothing was made from natural, breathable fibres, yet the items I received were largely polyester. I find this extremely misleading because the supposed quality of the materials was one of the reasons I was willing to pay such a high price.

The sizing is another issue. It is completely off and does not accurately correspond to the measurements or sizing you would expect from their size guide. For clothing this expensive, accurate sizing and basic quality control should be the minimum.

After waiting more than two months for my order, I expected to at least receive clothing that reflected the price I paid. Instead, I received cheap-feeling materials, bizarre visible bra pads, inaccurate sizing and products that did not match what I was told I was purchasing.

Overall, an extremely disappointing experience. The quality absolutely does not justify the price, and based on my experience, I would not purchase from this brand again.

Got scammed the same as everyone else on the reviews. I read them and still thought there wouldn’t be any reason to have difficulty with my sizing and ofcourse despite measuring the dress still came incredibly big for a small and when I reached out to return they offered me $20 refund LOL or to pay for overseas shipping myself…. scam artists called NY CLOTHING??

Item never received and all forms of contact ignored. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE

I ordered a dress over a month ago and never received it. This is completely unacceptable. I am requesting an immediate full refund, or I will dispute the charge and share my honest experience on all relevant review platforms.

I ordered the skirt top set from n my size which is a small, but when it came it was a micro small and I couldn’t even get it over my chest the hem was ripped out and I tried to get in contact with them to exchange for a larger size, but they wanted pics and haven’t told me how to exchange it. Bad customer service and it’s not as nice as advertised!

I ordered 2 corsets, both expensive like 80 to 100 and they were both regular quality borderline low quality, like a 30 dollar corset, AND I ONLY GOT ONE, I REACHED OUT TO THEM AND NOTHING, ARE THEY A SCAM, PASSING AS A LEGIT COMPANY?
