Just bought a Ford Edge from Peoples in Livingston and could not be happier with the deal that I got and the top class service from Sarah and Gordon. The buying experience was so professional and left me feeling that even if I had an issue, and I don't expect that i will, it would be handled with true customer service at the heart of the solution. The dealership was 100 miles away but would I do it again? You're 100% right that I would.

Went to look for a new ford fiesta st 3 but a 18 month waiting list but george found a brand new one for me a great price and a even better price fory trade in couldn't be happier would definitely deal with him again a true gentleman went way out his way to find the impossible car to find but he did it 5 star plus all the way many thanks Keith and Heather 😁

I just want to say how smooth our experience was at People's Ford, Speke, Liverpool. Zafar Muhammed couldn't do enough for us. He was so helpful and friendly; he took the time to advise us on our purchase and to set up the Ford Pass afterwards. We cant recommend him as an employee enough

My pleasure to write a review saying how happy I am with the service at People's Ford, Edinburgh. I am not an impulse buyer to the point of being a bit tight when parting with a wad of cash. But I have twice bought a Ford car there in the past three years. For a start I have never had a problem with the newer make of Fords. Reliable, good to drive, and it doesn't break the bank to service them and if a part goes. It's becoming a standing joke now that when I take my Ford in for a service in Edinburgh, I end up bumping into salesman George McBlaine, chewing the fat, and buying a new car off him. The trick, I think, is he never tries to push it, but is a good listener and picks up what you are interested in or may be looking out for, then facilitates this with courtesy, friendliness and diligence. I would recommend them/him every time and am very pleased with my latest purchase, a new Puma hybrid that is getting me 80mpg. If it helps save the planet, so much the better...

After nearly half a century of motoring I bought my first Ford car in March 2022. It recently developed a knocking noise from the near side front wheel so I booked it into Peoples Ford Edinburgh to have it investigated and repaired. Right from the off the experience was good. The booking service was friendly and efficient. The lady who served me in service reception was likewise. They fixed the issue, did some outstanding recall work, and are arranging a follow-up visit to pick up one issue they couldn’t do today due to needing advice from Ford. The loan car process worked well, as did the pick-up this afternoon. All just as it should have been and as a result I feel this dealer is really going to look after me and my car. Peoples Ford Livingston Service Department are absolute gems! My cars been in multiple times with errors created by a dealership down in Oxford who have mis-sold me a car and Nikkie and the techs have been bang on with me each and every time. Although the part I'm awaiting on for my car is taking longer than I'd hope(no fault of livingston), Nikkie has done an amazing job in keeping me updated and has been spot on and friendly even with the amount of times I've phoned.

We've been customers of Peoples Livingston for over 20 years. We recently took delivery of the next in line of a large number of vehicles we have bought from them over that time - a Ford Kuga ST-Line X PHEV.
Gordon always looks after us and gave great advice and support when we were looking to upgrade our Kuga Titanium to the new vehicle. We got to test drive a car exactly like the one we went for and to quiz him over the benefits of the PHEV version compared to the petrol or diesel options otherwise available. From us ordering the car through to delivery, he kept us in the loop and made the process completely stress free.

Visited Peoples Ford Speke to get a mobility car and managed to speak with a nice guy named Zafar.

I didn't feel under any pressure or obligation to get a car from him, he simply went through the best options and helped me find a car that I liked and that suited my needs.

There is a long wait for cars at the minute, but Zafar was great and managed to find me a cancellation on the car I had highlighted as my main preference. It wasn't the colour I wanted, but it ticked every other box.

Zafar called me when the car was delivered and I was pleasantly surprised as I actually preferred the storm grey colour over the magnetic one I had originally requested.

Overall, it was a superb, easy experience and I'll be going straight back to Zafar the next time I need a car. Thanks!

Peoples Ford Bootle accepted my car from the AA recovery vehicle on 20.01.2022. I’m told they said they would ring me the following morning. This, of course, did not happen.
I visited the premises on Sat 22.01.2022. I was told my car was in a queue of recovered vehicles & would be looked at on the following Tuesday or Wednesday. The lady went to get my coat from the car, but had to search for it, as it was in the front car park, not in the parts & mot area.
I heard nothing more. The following Friday I rang &;got the switchboard in Scotland. They said the garage would ring me back, but his didn’t happen.
By Monday 31.01.2022 they’d had my car for 11 days. I rang the switchboard again. This time I did get a call back, from a technician. He said he was working on it as we spoke & would ring me with the outcome later in the day. This he failed to do. I rang the switch, who left a message. I rang them again this morning (Day 12) & here I am again waiting for a call or email.
This company has been a blight on my existence for the past 12 years. I have spent hundreds if not thousands with them. They never have a courtesy car available & are 100% unreliable.

Always good service from Ryan and Gordon at Livingston I’ve bought three or four fast fords from them over the last three years and loved them all especially my latest focus rs purchase.

Yesterday went in to the branch in Sighthill Edinburgh, only to have a wee look for an upgrade from my Fiesta. It was 3pm when I saw a focus which caught my eye. Went to speak to Stephen who came and spoke with me about the car. Stephen was excellent, offered everything I needed to know. He didn’t try to push it in my face or try to over sell products or add extras on without saying. I left with my new focus by 5:30pm. Such great service from People’s Ford Edinburgh.

Even the rest of the staff (Valeter) who helped get the car ready for me to take away. The valeter stayed longer just to get it looking clean for me. That’s epic Customer Service,

First time visitor to Peoples Ford Falkirk yesterday afternoon. I had a browse at a few cars on display outside the showroom then after a few minutes i was approached by Sharon. I expressed my interest in the Ford Fiesta Hatchback 1.25 Style 5dr Registered October 2013 priced at £5,850.00 and asked Sharon how much she would offer me for my current car as a trade in. I drive a Vauxhall Astra Sri 5dr also Registered during 2013. She had a look at it and could see that bodily it was in good condition although the mileage perhaps a bit on the high side at 112,000. I entered the showroom took a seat, Sharon checked with her boss in another room (i didnt get to meet him) then came back to me to say that she could offer me £900 for my car as a trade in and that "it would go to market". £900 was considerably less than i had expected to be offered and i said to Sharon that i would have a think about it overnight at which point she said that "someone else is coming to look at the car at 2.30pm tomorrow". This of course created a sense of urgency with me (as im sure was Sharon's intention!) so i took the decision to pay £100 deposit in order to secure the car with a view to paying the balance on Thursday and then collect the car on Friday...urgency certainly was created!
Sharon gave me a copy of the itemised receipt which showed Deposit taken £100, Part Exchange £800 (could someone please explain to me why this figure is £800 and not the £900 i was quoted by Sharon please?), it showed Sub Total Vehicle price £5850.00 which is the advertised price on the car itself and £155.00 VED ( what is this amount for?). When i got home i got a quote from We Buy any Car for my Vauxhall Astra of £1,060.00 with a 4 day price promise guarantee...this amount is £260 more than the £800 that Peoples Falkirk were offering me. I emailed Sharon to advise her of this and she replied saying she would check again with her Manager and that We Buy any Car "generally offer a lower price on inspection of the car". I pointed out to her however that i had a 4 day price promise guarantee from them. She called me back this morning to advise me that her manager said that £800 is the most i would be offered for my car so i told her the deal was off and requested my £100 deposit be refunded to me. If they had price matched the £1060 i was offered from We buy any car i would have gone ahead and bought the car. Im sure im not the only custom Peoples Falkirk have lost due to their laughable almost verging on criminal trade in prices that they offer. I will never set foot in this showroom again however as i have raised a number of issues within my feedback i would certainly expect some kind of response from management.

My car broke down 2 weeks ago. It ended up getting taken into the Falkirk branch by tow truck soon after. Only had 1 phone call from the team about the latest situation of the vehicle and over a week later I still had no phone call from anyone! Extremely disappointed with their service!

Shocking hate to say this spent 22 thousand pounds with this company and the sales was fine it's the after service that's Shocking.. bought a kuga and focus off them kuga in August and focus in October kuga is good car works fine now the focus been on more times than it should have first let's start bought the car then picked it up had a slow puncher so went to the boot to change it withing 2 hours of picking it up the boot had a full boot full we're the spare wheel is full of water and all mould in the boot underneath so rung them up they said ye fine bring it in picked it up not been fixed the just cleaned it so when it was wet agen it filled up so took it back in next minute they say ho it a recall on the boot vent its not been sealed so they had it for a week next min get it back its warm day put the a.c on its only blowing warm air so ring them up they said ye bring it in so I did next min all fixed picked it up not fixed then took it back they said need a new condenser so took it back they needed it for a week they never give me any car as alternative noting so 4 days gone by got a phone call your car is ready but....... its been hit by a wagon that delivers there oil so got promised a car to lend went down you can't go on our insurance so fair enough I was paying for a car that I didn't even have I had to argue for days for money to get to work with a taxi with they was saying no no we can't so eventually after 50 phone calls later and me sitting in there shop demanding something they agreed to pay my taxi well they repair my paint job so off it went got fixed went to pick it up I said is eventing done they said yes so picked it up the mirror was still damaged and the door handle was sticking and the door seal was all ripped so they said we will order it all I said OK went in got it all put on the door seal the stuck it back on with glue its Shocking now today my window wipers have stopped working proper and they won't let water out rung them up they said its not covered under warranty I have to pay for everything I mean I had it for 5 months the car paid 7 grand for the focus and its not even road legal and the pint job it all chiping all in the corner off the door I feel cheated I would really think twice about going to this company as they are Shocking I am now in process off taking action agenst the company as I have car that's not road legal and its been damaged also I am in touch with the finance company santander and they are going to help me follow process with it as they totally agree with the pictures and phone calls and emails I have off them its disgusting I should off bought a banger would off been more reliable avoid please update they now scratched all my car getting the glue off the door seal that they botched pictures to show

Great customer service from Gordon and all the sales and service team at People's Livingston. Had my own finance arranged and was shown a good selection of vehicles to suit needs. Looking forward to another 4 years of happy motoring. Won't be going to any other dealer.
