Having been recommended Greg by a friend, he investigated a range of Endowment & Pension investments for us, finding one specific AVC policy that we had been mis-sold many years ago. His professionalism & tenacity in taking this up with the provider was fantastic. He also kept us updated regularly over a period of months that it took him to overcome a range of hurdles put up by the - ending with a substantial payout to us in the last few days. Whilst it took some time to work all this through due to the unhelpful approach from the original provider, it was a completely painless & cost-free process for us, with Greg also providing some very useful wider financial advice given the complexities of our particular case. I had a long-standing FSAVC, low value, that had failed to perform by a very wide margin. I thought, well that’s that really, but then I found Greg Vaughan in an internet search about FSAVCs in general.
Initially I had very low expectations; I mean who ever benefits from a random hit on Google purporting to be able to make you money?!
But I checked out his reviews and he seemed genuine and highly regarded, so I thought I’d give it a go. Greg charges 20-something percent of the resultant compensation amount (but note this is only on the extra bit that the insurance company finally awards you; it’s NOT on the value of the whole policy or anything underhand like that). And Greg is genuinely no win no fee.
So what’s to loose? Do you want 70-odd percent of something or are you happy to stick with 100% of nothing?
This was all back in 2020 (I am rather late with my review, sorry Greg), and the insurance company were understandably quite slow due to COVID lockdowns, but in December it all finished up very nicely with a compensation award in my pocket of over £6,000, after paying Greg.
Throughout the whole process, Greg was professional, courteous and approachable, so it was a completely painless experience with a nice little pot of gold at the end.
