The entire house moving process with Pedder and specifically Mollie was so much better than any other lettings or sales company we’ve ever used.

Before we found our now home with Pedder, we had actually already offered on and planned to buy a previous flat with KFH Peckham which was in turn one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with an agent/agency. Terrible, unhelpful, lazy and all around useless service from agency side with our main contact and selling agent not even knowing the most basic questions about the property.

Luckily for Pedder and Mollie this was the polar opposite. From our first initial meeting we saw the property within the first 2 weeks it had been on the market. We fell in love with it straight away but there were talks of other offers. Mollie really helped us secure an offer we were happy with but would also get us over the line.

At the stages then following this during the full process, Mollie was incredibly helpful in always being contactable, easy to reach via phone or email for any queries and also pushing hard as she could for us to get the sale underway completed as quickly and smoothly as possible for us. This as all properties do came with some unavoidable snags but Mollie was responsive and professional in managing expectation and timescale so we could plan accordingly.

Overall we had such a positive experience with Pedder and Mollie so I would recommend them for anyone looking to sell or buy.

Pedder have been great to work with in selling our house. They really know the local area which enables them to give great advice about valuation and are brilliant at selling the area. They are all super professional, and a pleasure to communicate with.

Very seamless and efficient house sale. Very professional at all times, as well as friendly. They kept us updated all the time, with regular calls, never once had to chase for an update. Had great knowledge and gave good advice when needed. Would highly recommend them.

I would thoroughly recommend Pedder East Dulwich, all of the agents are helpful and friendly, but especially Callum Melrose, Phillipa Waller and the branch manager David Yuill were tireless in their approach and showed immense patience during a very stressful time. Once we had a buyer,David and Callum made sure that everything ran smoothly to complete the deal.

Great experience with Pedder in Peckham. First time landlord - but from start to finish they were clear, transparent and super helpful taking me through the process. Also found a tenant quickly and at the rent-level I was hoping for. The whole process was great and I highly recommend them.

Pedder Dulwich Village were the acting agents for the vendor of our recent flat purchase, and Sales Consultant Catherine Douglas was excellent from our second viewing with her to completion. She took the time to answer all of our queries promptly, and regularly followed up with the solicitors on both sides to keep the process moving as it should. We completed exactly three months to the day after our offer was accepted, and most of the credit for this goes to Catherine! When we come to sell our new property we would definitely choose Pedder to market it for us.

I’ve never encountered such an appalling lack of accountability and basic decency from a managing agent. As owners of a downstairs property, we have had to endure four separate leaks into our property due to the landlord's failure to maintain the building; each one more disruptive and damaging than the last.
Despite this, Pedder have now suggested that we should contribute to the cost of remedial works that are required entirely due to the above landlord’s negligence. The audacity of this proposal is frankly staggering.
Their handling of the situation has been extremely slow, dismissive, and lacking any sense of responsibility or professionalism. The repeated water ingress, the personal time I’ve had to spend chasing updates, and now the morally indefensible suggestion that I should foot part of the bill…it’s beyond belief.
If you're looking for an agent who will represent landlords who neglect their duty and then pass the consequences onto tenants, then Pedder might be the one for you. If you’re hoping for a fair, responsive, and ethical managing agent…steer well clear.

Our sale through Pedder was particularly complicated and long-drawn-out. Despite this Vince Spoto was a model of professionalism at every stage and a real pleasure to deal with. His positive can-do attitude and prompt and courteous email communication were a major support and nothing that needed doing was too much trouble. We live at a distance from the property we were selling but Vince was readily available to allow access to surveyors and others whenever necessary, often at very short notice. If we could give 6 stars, we would!

Excellent. I asked for a respectful and drama free house sale process and that is what I got. Peddar are experienced and plugged in to local knowledge with good insight in to which buyers are right.

Callum in the East Dulwich office worked hard over a number of weeks looking for the best property for me and my kids. He was good humoured and patient and always considered our needs. It was a pleasure working with him.

Communications were outstanding, regarding viewings and progress of the sale. They readily accepted small changes to the sales brochure and Molly and Carolina were extremely friendly and responsive to any queries we had. We were very pleased with the sale price and couldn't have asked for a better sales team. Excellent service.

We recently sold our Crystal Palace flat using Pedder (CP branch). Our initial contact was with Bill Russel (MD of Pedder), who I knew from before as he'd handled the sale of my sister's flat several years ago. Bill was very honest in his valuation, and generous with his advice when we weren't yet ready to sell. Natasha then handled the sale itself. She was a pleasure to deal with, patient and professional, and proactive when necessary. There were inevitably some stressful moments during the process, but none were due to Pedder and Natasha was great to deal with throughout. I'd have no hesitation about recommending Natasha, Bill and Pedder, and we're very glad we decided to use a local independent company.

We bought a property with the Natasha Best at the Crystal Palace Pedder office and the experience was great. Natasha was super nice and always prompt to help us with our questions and advice we needed. She helped to keep our purchase moving forwards throughout the process.

Unfortunately we've been unlucky on our side... we've had multiple issues in the flat we are renting that have been left unresolved for months on end despite us constantly chasing via emails and phone calls. There is a huge lack of communication between the agency, the tenants, and the landlord, resulting in no follow-ups and persistent lack of maintenance.

We are sensible tenants who take excellent care of the flat and who always pay our rent and bills on time. It's been extremely disappointing to see an agency praising itself for its 'excellency' disregard tenant care in this manner.

Great service - friendly, efficient and delighted with the outcome. Sold my flat in Forest Hill in the first weekend of viewings at full asking price. Can’t ask for much more!

I sold my flat through Pedder's Sydenham branch earlier this year. The first set of buyers dropped out after three months through no fault of Pedders but within 2 weeks they had found me committed new buyers who offered more and the sale went through very quickly. They were incredibly supportive and responsive - answering phone calls and emails immediately and providing clear and transparent information at all times. My thanks especially to Cansu and Natasha.
