Extremely Dissappointing Service
We had an extremely disappointing experience with and I hope this review helps others avoid the same situation.
Our car got a flat tyre due to a nail in the tyre. We contacted the company for roadside assistance and were told the tyre could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. The technician who came out told us he would return within an hour with an all-season tyre, as we specifically requested a tyre matching the others already on the car.
Before leaving to collect the tyre, he requested an upfront payment of €600. We agreed because we trusted the service and needed to get back on the road. However, he only returned more than 2 hours later, and only after we contacted customer service to ask where he was.
Once the tyre was fitted, my husband was in a hurry and unfortunately did not immediately check the tyre. Later, we discovered that the tyre installed was NOT an all-season tyre as requested, but a regular tyre instead. In total, we were charged nearly €700 for a single standard tyre replacement.
This was not just expensive — it felt like taking advantage of vulnerable customers in a stressful situation. I understand emergency services cost money, but charging more for one tyre than what four brand-new tyres would normally cost is beyond unreasonable. A quick online search showed that a call-out fee plus tyre replacement should have been around €350, yet we were charged double that amount.
To make matters worse, we also requested an invoice, which we are still waiting to receive.
For many people, a car is their only means of getting to work and supporting their family. Taking such a large amount of money from customers during an emergency feels exploitative and deeply unethical.
I do not expect much to come from this review, but I sincerely hope it helps someone else think twice before using this company.
