Ordered a Worstation for video editing through the website.
The system is very good in walking through selcting all the components and providing info where needed, as well as checking your specification and giving recommendations.
Price is ok, not the cheapest offer I got, but it seemed most trust worthy, and the differance wasn't huge.
I would have liked some more selection in accesories such as keyboards and speakers.
Assembly and delivery time took longer than advertised, but still within reasonable timeframe, and with very frequant updates on where the order is standing.
Writing this after about a couple of weeks of working with my new computer, and im very happy with it.

PCspecialist geeft goed advies bij het zelf samenstellen van een PC. Voor ons was dit nodig omdat we een render PC wilden en deze onderdelen (snelle grafische kaart) zijn niet verkrijgbaar in standaard winkels. Bij de aanschaf krijg je goed advies welke onderdelen wel en niet goed combineren. Na bestelling houden ze je goed op de hoogte van de vorderingen in het samenstellen, testen en verzenden van je PC.

Perfect!

Zelf geen professional als het om computer onderdelen gaat, PCSpecialist heeft op de site een systeem waar ze alle opties tegen elkaar checken zodat alles goed met elkaar zou werken. Na het bestellen bijna dagelijkse updates met foto's en voortgang.

Wist waar ik aan toe was, en ze hadden ook nog extra informatie gestuurd met wat kleine tips and tricks voor de nieuwe computer.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Never worked form the start. They want me to pay /organize sending it back from the Canary Islands.
I still have a non-functioning PC since December. The law is very clear, following Directive (EU) 2019/771, which requires remedies to be provided free of charge, including transport and without significant inconvenience to the consumer.
When confronted with the law they refer to terms and conditions as if Terms and Conditions supersede the statutory rights of the consumer under EU law.

Update: It is true that they are in contact with me, but as described above, therefore, I terminated contract.

Prima ervaring

PC is nu 2 weken in gebruik en afgezien van wat gekke dingen met de Windows Update (Heeft waarschijnlijk niets met de hardware te maken), geen enkel probleem.

Dus, wat mij betreft een aanrader. Communicatie is meer dan okay, tijdens de bouw. Zeggen wat ze doen en doen wat ze zeggen.

Ondermaatse batterijkwaliteit

Hoewel de algemene kwaliteit van mijn aangekochte laptop zeer goed is, presteert de batterij ondermaats. Na ongeveer 1 uur en 30 minuten licht gebruik zonder oplader schakelt het toestel volledig uit.

Na verloop van tijd heb ik hierover contact opgenomen, aangezien ik mij vaker moest verplaatsen en dus regelmatig zonder oplader werkte. Op dat moment was de garantieperiode echter reeds verstreken.

Ik begrijp dat mijn melding buiten de garantieperiode viel. Toch blijkt uit het batterijanalyserapport duidelijk dat de batterij vanaf dag één ondermaats presteerde. Dit werd bovendien bevestigd door PCSPECIALIST zelf (normaal zou deze tot 3h moeten kunnen draaien). Echter, ze konden niet akkoord gaan om kosteloos een nieuwe batterij te bezorgen.

Hoewel het toestel pas na het verstrijken van de garantie werd aangemeld, lijkt het mij redelijk om dit alsnog recht te zetten, gezien het probleem duidelijk structureel aanwezig was.

Dit is bovendien al de tweede laptop die ik bij hen aankoop. Ook bij het vorige toestel ondervond ik een gelijkaardig probleem. Hoewel die batterij aanvankelijk langer meeging, was ze na vijf jaar volledig versleten. Het was wellicht tijd voor vervanging, maar het blijft opmerkelijk dat de laptop na vijf jaar zelfs niet meer functioneerde wanneer hij aangesloten was op de oplader.

Avoid them like a plague.

Initially computer was purchased with guarantee of delivery before set date. Set day came and went, and the hardware arrived month after that date. More than that case was damaged. Due to need of computation from the hardware, I deemed case low priority.

Over next almost 2 years, most of the hardware had to be replaced to some degree, including memory and cooling. Luckily those two were 'relatively' painless, as the replacement was done in exchange format (new one for old one). Unfortunately that is the last positive experience I had with the company

Fortunately for me, and extremely unfortunately for the company, the GPU (RTX 4090, will be important later) died during warranty. Specifically - the logic chip as I'd later learn. In November 2025 RMA was reported, and the computer was returned to servicing. Total of 4 issues were listed. Primary issue: GPU not working; Secondary issue - Intel had a recall/replacement for the specific series due to excessive degradation, and as such was due for replacement (it was functional however). 3rd - replacement of glass panel (due to my fault admittedly - as such I asked for quote), and 4th for the company to decide what they propose with the case itself due to prior documented damage (comparison was possible due to photographic evidence sent initially). As I didn't have the original packaging, new one was sent to me, at a price. It should be noted that warranty terms give them ability to reject warranty for 'damage during transport' if the original packaging is not provided

For the 3 weeks after the service center got the hardware nothing happened whatsoever. Next 3 weeks the computer was supposedly 'tested' and 'checked'. Case was replaced at a cost to cover the equivalent cost of side panel (which I am and was completely fine with it), CPU was replaced and supposedly the hardware was fixed [Keep in mind we're already talking about 6 weeks since they received the computer to the service]. In the meantime I've received such interesting pieces of information via mail as "we found a problem - RAM causes the fault, it was replaced" [which I knew was false, given I checked the ram beforehand with memcheck, which was noted to them], a week later - "RAM wasn't the problem after all, it is GPU power that causes the problem" [odd, PSU was rated above that recommended by Nvidia], and finally a week after that - that the problem was fixed.
Once, finally, the computer arrived, I copied the data from backups [it took a while admittedly], tried to run CUDA based software and... System crashed within an hour of high utilization. I was tasked to attempt reslotting of the GPU, which I did; it didn't help, and as I reported it, I was told on Monday a new GPU will be sent for replacement. It didn't arrive, and I was told the company doesn't have access to the model in question, and I will be forced to send the PC fully, as they cannot replace with different model otherwise
During weekend I again checked the exact problem, and have learned that the GPU not only was not fixed, the core issue with it was GPU logic chip. Chip that You cannot miss during tests unless You: a) do not check GPU at all, or B) check only VRAM from the GPU in question. It is impossible to check the GPU under load without triggering the problem in question. It would be missed also if the system was run on low GPU utilization. In essence - system was sent with GPU problem, and somehow they (supposedly) tested everything EXCEPT for GPU. I also checked alternate PSU, just in case, and sent the update to the company

Finally we're during last service stay. After few days (the service was supposed to be treated as priority due to previous RMA not being resolved), the service confirm that yes, it IS in fact GPU. Fact that they would've known since November, had they read the RMA, and that they offer either replacement to the same model or upgrade to 5090 at a price. Given the wording was not in English, and it was already quite clear their translation is atrocious, I asked for reiteration why in terms of 4090 a price point is listed in the previous mail, given it was originally sent when the GPU was still on warranty, and wasn't fixed then, and I received answer that, oh, no, their mistake - they talked about 4080 and 5080, and they talked with their sales team, and manager and decided to 'modernize' (sic!) the system to 4090. Prompting my answer that no, that is NOT 'modernization', given 4090 was the variant that was initially purchased

This is current state of affairs, and frankly, my patience has ran out. Not once did they take offer to change to English to skip on their translation software

Having reviewed the order history, we can see that the system was built within the stated build time in December 2023. We understand there were courier delays at the time which extended delivery, and we acknowledge how disappointing that would have been. We also note that RAM and cooling components were replaced during the first year and were resolved through exchange.

Hardware faults can sometimes be intermittent and difficult to isolate, but we recognise that from a customer perspective what matters is that the issue is resolved properly and without repeated inconvenience.

Mooie PC maar geen ruimte gelaten over HDD's

De PC is mooi gebouwd en was tijdens transport goed beschermd. Ook communicatie met PCSpecialist in Nederland was goed. Wel bleek dat er geen ruimte was om de 2 HDD's bays naast elkaar te plaatsen. Zou beter zijn om dit al tijdens de bouw te doen en aan de gebruiker over te laten of de bays benut worden.
