I was very happy with the service I received from Pattinsons, especially from Stephanie who was very polite and efficient. I was very impressed with the whole process from start to finish and would definitely recommend to anyone who wanted to sell their property.

I recently sold a property through Pattison Auction (North East). I received excellent service, with a quick sale being achieved and I was updated throughout. Particular thanks to Iain W for his assistance.

Very bad experience! So many hidden charges. Customer service zero. Holly, Edward, Gillian, Caroline Brown specially full of garbage. Some time even deny their own staff members names who work their.
Signing Process is in Delay because of them them not providing right information when we contacted them several times they said it’s not solicitor’s job to provide information.
So stressful un describable.
Please contact us any one who experienced stress from them.
As we will teach them a good lesson to rubbing simple people.

Before you place a bid, Pattinson’s well-trained sales team will misguide you with information. They told me I can buy that particular flat with high street mortgage. But the property was for cash buyer only. I had to ended up with very expensive bridging loan. They only think about taking your money, do not expect any customer service. In my case I have emailed to withdraw the bid two days before the auction date. By law I am allowed to do that. But VINNY DADHRIA promise me seller will not accept my bid. On the day I didn’t win the bid, I have proof of the screenshot. After one and half hour Vinny called and said I win the bid and he want me to pay 5% deposit + auction fee £8,325. He also threatened me if I don’t pay by 9 am next day, their solicitor will contact me. He was horrible and very rude. I believe this is one of the mandatory requirements for Pattinson worker, that they have to be atrocious with the buyers. All the hidden cost and unpaid bill cost me around 50K on top of the property price. My entire journey of buying the flat was very stressful.
I have emailed Pattinson auction team with all the proof, but they never replied my email.

Having been stressed by a buyer withdrawing at the eleventh hour after months of delay I decided to go the auction route and selected to use Pattinsons. I felt the process was pretty seamless and went as “it said on the tin” and the only small criticism I would add is there could be a weekly update on progress either via email or phone call. I also used an estate agent in parallel so used them for updates. I think the key is to ask a great deal of questions before embarking on the auction route which I did as I’d never auctioned a property before. Also putting trust in the auctioneer is important as they know the market and feel the mood more than the sellers (or buyers) and are impartial and unemotional. Needless to say all the people I spoke to were highly professional and provided me with every bit of information I needed and answered all my queries and concerns swiftly. Thank you Nicky, Stephanie and all the others who helped me secure a successful outcome.

Excellent all round service with very good communication about appointments etc.

Sold my property within five days through the Bedlington branch, excellent service provided by Jane and her team and then by Wendy, who helped communicate with my solicitors and those of the buyer to aid completion.

Their staff lied repeatedly on the phone, dismissed all concerns as nonsense and used high pressure sales tactics.

The moment we signed they sent a fee that was 20x what they lead us to believe which was hidden away in the small print and immediately threatened to sue us.

Do not trust anything this company or their employees say or do. Get EVERYTHING in writing signed by them no matter how small. Their website is deliberately vague and misleading on their fees.

From the start, helpful, informative and very, very efficient. Exceeded all expectations. Heartily recommended.

Continuous failings throughout the process and only ever calling to ask us reduce our price. No update on viewings, false information on fees, lack of updates, rude staff, lost us auction bids which we were told were legally binding. The list goes on. Terrible.

This was my first experience of Dealing with an Auction company and I have to say that it was a very smooth and efficient process. The main reason why it ran so smoothly was due to Hollie, who was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and kept us informed during the whole process.

I was approached by Pattinson Auctions in 2019 as they had seen my add on EBay, they told me they were intending moving into the Scottish market and would like to offer my property in North East Scotland for a fixed fee of 999GBP. I accepted there offer and was initially quite happy with progress, that is until the auction process actually started, then things started to go wrong. I had a distinct feeling that someone within Pattinsons northern office was doing a deal directly with a bidder and trying to get me to lower my price!!! Eventually, due to my insistence that I would not sell below the reserve, it sold for 15K above my reserve, this was 18th December 2019. As of today's date 19/09/20 Pattisons still owe me 579 GBP and are not answering my emails. DO NOT use Pattinsons Auctions if you live North of the border, in fact I would not use Pattinsons anywhere in the UK!

Stephanie Baker was a key part of my buying process. i have never bought an auction property so far. She helped with vendor questions, searched for info for me and was patient with my many phone calls and checks. Thanks Pattisons - she gets my thumbs up!
