The site has bee ruined
The sote has bee ruined. I used to use it regularly for repeat prescriptions, test reports etc. The new security layers make it almost impossible to get into. eg it didnt recognise my password (well used); to change my password, it then promised to send a verification code to my phone and didnt, the first time of trying. I finally got onto the app after 35 frustrating minutes.
A total waste of time that does not work
A total waste of time that does not work. It took ages to register and when I finally managed to do so on my partner's behalf it was impossible to book a simple blood test at his GP practise. I wonder how much money was wasted setting this up. My GP practise uses System On Line which works perfectly.
Used to be better than NHS app, not any more.
Used to show my test results and letters, its all blacked out now, have deleted it. It used to be far better than the NHS app, not any more.

Given up ,waste of time
Patient Access and NHS app are…
Patient Access and NHS app are extremely difficult to log into. Having spent the last hour trying to log in I have given up. Too many steps to complete (if you actually a
manage to complete them) sends you to an authenticator app which you have to pay for after free trial. A wait up to 30 minutes for an NHS login security code. Have to reset password everytime I use the app.
Since two part verification app hangs …

Think of unintalling as wast of time
Miserable rude staff
Miserable rude staff, so impatient when asked a question, no Good morning/Goodbye. Honestly cannot fathom why top London clinics use this dreadful payment service.
Cookie pop-up is blocking all access
Cannot get past cookie selection pop-up. I have tried Safari and Chrome. I have cleared all website settings in Privacy on my computer. I have pop-ups allowed and no cookies blocked. I have made sure that no VPN is running. This is a huge waste of my taxes.
For me it used to be easy to use but…
For me it used to be easy to use but now they want an authenticator installed. Nope. Did you ask customers first if they wanted it. Not going to use anymore so there loss.
why can't we have 0 stars
why can't we have 0 stars
suddenly no verification codes received (no change in phone no.) asking for resend only works a few times until blocked.
Technical support is non-existent
Let's go back to paper trails - this doesn't work well at all.
Moved Dr's practice and now they can't delete the old account.
It's a basic admin function and, once again, shows that this sort of 'data technology' is neither progressive nor particularly useful.
Terrible
Terrible. The app is useless just signs me out as soon as I try to log in. Technical support is a waste of time!
IS ANYONE OUT THERE LISTENING?
Patient Access far too complicated to register and the reregister!
All I want to do is change my phone number on my account :'-(-(
All I want to do is change the phone number on my PA account they have made this simple procedure so complicated that I actually cannot work out what it is that they want me to do its is totally beyond my comprehension - I cannot cannot work out how to change my phone number on their godforesaken site. Needless to say there is no help available
THIS APP WILL GIVE YOU NIGHTMARES
Utterly useless app!! I need to order medication tried using the app on Saturday morning they told me to use the number generator to get my code, which I did entered the code and the app signed me out. Started the process again same thing I keep getting kicked out the app by the damn app!!
As a result I will run short of medication, as I don’t drive due to disability and the first family member who lives nearby can’t get my prescription to the doctors until tomorrow morning. Very well done Patient Access I hope you’re proud of yourself for leaving me short of medication 🤬.
I also tried to use your troubleshooting tips and that was a waste of time too. You have made things very difficult since you updated the app no password, no memorable word just a stupid number generator that keeps kicking me out of your stupid app. Also do you actually read the reviews that people are posting? I would have to assume that you don’t, as you have never replied to anyone or even apologised for the distress that you have put people through. I would highly urge people to steer clear of this app, and for carers/ family members who are looking after elderly parents or anyone who is ill do not use or trust this app.
total waste of time as a GB can block…
total waste of time as a GB can block you from seeing anything.
move from one GP where I can see my entire medical history to another emergency absolutely nothing.
took over a month Justice sort out move Pete prescription ordering
I design & build websites
I design & build websites. I could not figure out how to book a simple doctors appointment! All by design - to alleviate stress on the NHS. I dread to think of the elderly suffering because of this debacle.
Already registered my Doctor's but they want you to keep re-entering & confirming your existing Doctor's facility- ridiculous.
not accomadating
have been trying on various occasion to order repeat medication when set up account originally used memorable word now they send text which I have informed them of on a few occasions so still battling to access repeat medication which I require have actually had to go to dr surgery to get script this is not acceptable my memorable wordis unique to me txt can go astray
Added
Added. I can sign in now but they have an old mobile number. I changed it with my GP many, many months, if not years ago but they try to send a code to the very old number and I cannot change it. They need to talk to the GP surgery. My last review was 2021 and it is not better now. I still cannot access so-called Patien Access. More lack of access
This App is beyond patient data protection... it's hard to access!
This app is not for patients who are ill or infirm it is for tech giants, who want to prove that their idea is a good one and better than a simple phone call for making an appointment.
It's not helping patients in accessing personal data, but locking them out from it, in the name of data protection. It's a most complex way that there has ever been to make an appointment, get blood results, and by no means an aid to informed choice.
Many much needed appointments in the name of an individuals health may not be made out of lack of access to doing this through the app and will to individual patients being iller than before... even the young born to App Access will consider this one mind blowing...... the question is why? This is all beyond personal data protection and more a preventative of patients accessing their own data.
Sorry techies this one is a fail.
