Excellent Aftercare Service

I bought a used convertible Mercedes from Partridge in January this year and experienced an issue mid week with the hood not working.

I called Partridge and Kevin instantly reassured me that they would resolve this for me. Two days later the car went in for repair and the issue has been sorted so quickly.

Peter was amazing in assisting me, and ensuring the work was carried out swiftly so I could enjoy the car in this glorious weather.

I cannot praise Kevin, Peter and the reception team enough for rapidly getting my car sorted.

Above and beyond aftercare service from Partridge. I shall definitely recommend the dealership to friends and family.

Outstanding Customer Service at Partridge of Hampshire

I had an excellent experience with Partridge of Hampshire and felt it was only right to share how impressed I was with the level of customer service.

A huge thank you to James R (Sales Representative) and Ian (General Manager), who were both absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They went above and beyond to help me organise my BMW M4, especially while I was dealing with complications transferring my foreign licence to the UK. Their patience, understanding, and willingness to support me throughout the process really stood out.

What made the experience even more impressive was their commitment, working outside of normal hours and making sure everything was sorted smoothly. It genuinely felt like they cared about helping me, rather than just making a sale.

I am also due to return for a car wash, ceramic coating, and leather care, and based on how everything has been handled so far, I have full confidence it will be just as smooth. I will happily update my review after this.

The level of service I received was far beyond what I would normally expect from a dealership. Professional, responsive, and incredibly supportive. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Highly recommend based on my experience!

False sense of security

Car was suppose to be delivered to work place, this was delayed. Car wouldn't be delivered till past 7pm. I offered to collect the car which was agreed. Travelled 40 miles to collect fine.

Once car was collected I noticed the car had a different number plate than I was told it would be, had to change insurance details.

Ask to be reimbursed travel costs and insurance costs. Phoned the dealership was promised a call back and ignored.

Called again to ask if all the correct documents had been sent to the finance company so I could put a personalised numberplate on. Was promised a call back, ignored.

Car was handed over quickly which was fine, as soon as I left the dealership the customer care ended.

I recently had an excellent experience…

I recently had an excellent experience with James Ratcliffe at Partridge of Hampshire BMW. While I was in Southampton on an orchestral tour, my second hand car that I bought from Arnold Clark 2 weeks ago unexpectedly gave up which I returned, leaving me in a difficult situation.

James stepped in and made the whole process remarkably smooth. He quickly arranged an affordable PCP deal that suited my needs perfectly, taking the time to ensure everything was clear and tailored to my circumstances. His responsiveness and professionalism stood out, and it was clear he genuinely cared about helping rather than just making a sale.

What impressed me most was how he went above and beyond to get me back on the road with minimal stress. His level of service wouldn’t look out of place in a managerial role, and it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see him progress within the company.

Thanks to this experience, I’ll definitely be returning to this dealership for future purchases. Highly recommended.

Great to work with. A very informative visit.

Really excellent! Visited yesterday to view a BMW i3. We made it clear we wouldn’t be buying the car but were hoping to purchase one in the near future. Their salesman Kevin was great. He arranged for an example to be on site for us to view and spent quite some time with us providing a detailed and honest review of the various i3 models. He even provided us with a test drive so we could experience the ride. Really refreshing not to experience high pressure sales. We would have no hesitation dealing with this company. A really great guy doing a great job for his company. Well done and many thanks.

Excellent service and communication from Adriana

I had a great experience dealing with Adriana Sabotinova throughout my car order.
Adriana was consistently professional, responsive, and proactive in keeping me updated on the status of my vehicle, including clear explanations around timings, delivery expectations, and next steps. Communication was always prompt and easy to follow, which made the whole process feel well‑managed and stress‑free.

Car repair review

My car required repairs following a collision . Eastleigh was the nearest place for me to get this done. They responded very quickly collecting my car from home and delivering the courtesy car . Rhian ( customer service) and BMW repair shop kept me up to date with progress. Really professionally managed by all concerned and now I have my mini back and it looks like new!

Obvious fault with window not found and no response from the service department

The car was dropped off at Partridges on the 27th of February with a report of water ingress in the passenger cabin. The water first appeared in the rear right-hand side and then in the front right (driver's footwell). I mentioned that the window did not work in the rear right-hand side and that the vapour barrier may have come away on the inside of the door.

At the point of handoff, Partridges said that the door would be stripped down and investigated for water ingress.

Partridges then stated that water ingress was found to be a perished grommet in the bulkhead. So, the dashboard would need to be removed. During this work it was found that the sound insulation around the heater box had perished and had to be replaced.

Partridges mentioned that no fault was found with the window and that it was initially stiff but worked as expected thereafter.

On receipt of the car and upon getting home and checking the car over, the rear window did not work—the window would only move 2–3mm each time the window control was operated. The inside of the car sounds worse than before; it sounds like there is missing / reduced sound insulation between the engine bay and the driver's cabin.

I contacted Partridges via email on 31st March—no reply. I followed up with a phone call asking to speak with the service contact on the morning of 2nd April, asking for a call back. No reply. I phoned back in the afternoon asking for an update; the person took my details, but I have not received a call back or any response.

The cost of the work was £2.5k+, and I am left with a car with the window still not working, uncertain if the window had been fully tested for water ingress, and with a louder engine noise whilst driving. A disappointing experience—I do not understand why simple customer service principles are not observed by this dealership.

I have downgraded this review from two stars to one. Reason is after getting in touch with the dealership a meeting was scheduled with a customer care representative and a technician to discuss the issues. I visited the dealership to only find that the two representatives were not available at the time.

I will now be progressing by using a company other than Partridge BMW to sort out the issues they created.
