Terribly disappointed that they misrepresent their products: I purchased a few things. One - the set of (10) 14" paper lavender with wire inside for clipping the battery LED to. It does not clip onto the wire. I did chat with them. They send a video which is remarkable laughable.... even in the video demo the light with clip falls loose from the wire at end of video. Shameful. I noticed the visual online compared to the product they sent me. They are NOT THE SAME. Misrepresented (the weld on the wire in actually in a different location. It makes me think they tried to sell rejects that were rewelded. The LED brightness is poor/dim... not as you might believe from online photo. I open package to test, only to learn these things.... but you can't return open packages.. I will work toward my own solutions for my daughters wedding..... but The Paper Lattern store is not proving reliable product and therefore not trustworthy at this point. I've sent initial email, but no response as yet. Most disappointed.

Following on from my previous poor service I’m afraid I’m now writing another negative review.
I’ve only had the lanterns for a month but when I tried to remove one to change the lightbulb the slightest movement caused a big tear in 2 places!!
I then temporarily used one of the smaller ones that I was sent and the wire snapped almost straight away when I put the electric cord through it!!!
Complete waste of money.
Do not buy from this Company.
I’m not going to attempt to ask for a refund as I know this will take months and lots of stress.

What a dreadful unreliable Company.

I ordered 3 different types just before Christmas. They showed up as In Stock.
After paying for them I received a subsequent email informing me that a certain type wasn’t available. I cancelled the order.
A few days later I decided to reorder as they were cheap and spent a lengthy time on the phone explaining that the substitute would not work near my loft. We agreed that I’d be sent all the lanterns that were in stock and that they would inform me when the missing one would be in and then they’d send that separately.
Having just emailed them to ask about this the Manager that I spoke to on the phone disputed my conversation and even claims I’ve had the substitute- which I haven’t!!
Ask yourself this:
Why would I bother to waste my time writing this for a paltry £2.99 of very cheap and flimsy lanterns.
The Answer is because of their extremely poor Customer Service and noone else should Trust them.
Don’t waste your money.
I wanted a Set of all the same material etc.
Now I won’t have that!!
Really poor Company and lacking empathy.

I ordered 6 various shapes of the cheap lanterns for my classroom. Three of them were the same for a fixture I wanted to purchase. I paid as much in postage as I did for the items. They arrived in a huge flimsy envelope with a piece of cardboard not large enough to protect the items. They sent an email wondering how my item was damaged during shipping and wanted photos. In addition, I had one missing item. They told me it was sent because the scan showed that it was. I had to send photos of the packaging and they still didn’t replace the damaged piece saying I could bend it back. They later emailed me saying they were shipping the missing piece after they practically called me a liar and acted like I was trying to get a free $3 lantern. When I emailed to ask when it was coming, they said they refunded my money but I could place another order. At the time I was told I would receive a replacement, I stressed that I needed the extra piece for a fixture and that I was going to order it if they were indeed sending the missing piece I paid for but did not receive. He ensured it was being mailed, so I ordered the fixture. So now I have a 3 socket fixture and 2 lanterns that I cannot use without ordering another lantern and paying shipping again.
The only good thing about this company is they responded promptly; however, you will be put through an interrogation and still end up with your problem. They make you feel like the bad person for their inadequacies and errors. I ordered through Walmart. I will never shop from a small business on Walmart’s site again. Everything I’ve gotten via Amazon, the companies made any problems right. Safer exchanges through them.

I ordered several (between 30 and 40) paper lanterns for my wedding. I was very impressed with the shipping cost and arrival time! Items were packaged very well. Our wedding colors are very specific, and the teal and purple lanterns were true to color! I was very impressed! I will do business with them again in the future! :) 5 Stars!

Very nice website with decoration articles. I ordered 90 paper lanterns in different colors for a birthday party. The lanterns and expecially the colors off the lanterns did math my expectations, which were very important to me. There were absolutely no problems with ordering,delivery and payment. So no complaints. I will not hesitate to order from Paperlanternstore.com again. Thanks!

Paperlanternstore.com was awesome! My fiance was very happy to find them for our upcoming fall wedding after she saw all those pics on pinterest of paper lanterns and how they made the atmosphere so romantic for the other brides. We bought a large mix of lanterns and they arrived really quickly and look to be really good quality. I'm sure she will be back again for our other decorations too.
