I'm learning that hitting Trustpilot before you buy is becoming essential.

Today Panasonic refused by warranty claim and are trying to tell me I need to buy a new shelf for £100 on a Combi Microwave that cost £450! that is a year old.

As part of the interaction they told me the Microwave wasn't clean enough therefore hadn't been looked after and that was the reason the shelf failed so quickly ... laughable.

Well likely off to small claims court for me, why, it's a matter of principle ...

Bought a Panasonic bread maker in April 2023. The machine was ok at first but after a couple of months light use developed an intermittent fault. One loaf could be good, the next like a brick! Tried all new ingredients, different types of flour and yeast, different stores. Nothing made a difference. Contacted Panasonic and it seems I have to arrange for a local authorised services to look at it. If they cannot find the fault I will have to cover all costs myself! This is not what you would expect for a product well under guarantee. Panasonic customer service non existent. Have purchased many Panasonic products in the past but will never purchase from them again. Avoid! Update - Just spoken to service centre. Cost of collection and examining machine Is 108 GBP! This I would have to cover myself if the intermittent fault could not be found. Looks like a trip to the local tip!

You usually only see reviews of negative experiences. Mine was actually positive. My old Bowers and Wilkins p7 headphones broke and I replaced them with some Panasonic Technics ones. In around eight month they'd broken at the hinge. I read the reviews of Panasonic here and elsewhere and expected a nightmare but they pleasantly surprised me. I found the website difficult to navigate, the first phone contact was not great to be honest, but once I sent pictures of the broken headphones and a few emails with purchase dates etc. they picked them up free with the offer of full refund or replacement. I took the refund, regrettably I used that on a pair of B&W PX7 headphones, won't consider B&W anymore but will definitely consider Panasonic Technics.

I recently bought a Panasonic TX-40MS490B
Panasonic 40" LED Full HD Smart TV, and i am over the moon. Every thing is great, the sound is not tinny, and the quality of the picture is fantastic. I spoke to a lovely lady called Hado, who was very helpful and friendly, a credit to Panasonic. I highly recommend this TV

I have a Panasonic NN E27JWM microwave, just over two years old, the rust where the door closes is now so excessive I am having to buy a replacement, this can’t be right surely this has to be a manufacturer defect, I had other microwave 7-8 years with no issues, be aware if you considering buying a Panasonic product.

I bought two expensive Panasonic Aircon units. Badly made parts broke within a year and when I called Panasonic they told me to make the parts with a plastic 3d printer!!! Completely unbelievable!!! They wouldn’t sell me the parts and wouldn’t tell me where to get them. It have had much better experiences with other brands.

Ordered TV and it was delivered within two days, arriving just before the 1 hr time slot I was sent. Set up was easy, and it includes google, Apple TV and Now which is excellent for under £400. I like Panasonic tv’s so bought this over an LG or Samsung. Just wanted to reassure people as I panicked after reading all the terrible reviews here!

Bought a combi microwave NN-CF87 just over two years for £468. All worked fine until a couple of days ago when, after heating a bowl of porridge, we noticed that the inside "glass" floor was cracked. Contacted Panasonic customer services (twice - by e-mail and then called them), sent full details, photos, etc, only to be told that as this was not a manufacturing problem, they are unable to help and so gave me details of a repairer. No offer of help with cost, part exchange or anything. By the time I pay to get this repaired, I can buy a new alternative combi, which I will. Appalling/non-existent after sales service and how to waste almost £500 in two years.

I’ve always purchased Panasonic Inverter microwave. Last one died after 9 years of usage. I bought a Panasonic Inverted Microwave on 28th Dec. On first usage I realized that it makes a stange noice. But I did not pay much attention. Then one day in the monring while using the microwave I heard a big noise, when I opened the mirowave the thick revolving glass plate was broken into two halves. I was shocked to see that. Panasonic first refused that it was not covered under warranty then, after a little argument they got it collected on April 13 and since then I did not hear from them. When contacted on 2nd May, the staff on the phone were very rude and told us to contact the repair company DK Audio Visual Services. When I contacted them they had not done the repairs and neither did they try to update us. I told them to return the microwave. They committed to return today on 4th May, waited all day, they did not deliver or contact to update. Poor is understatement. Absolutely worst customer services. Not the service you expect.

I have had a very negative experience with this company's customer service. They have been unresponsive and unhelpful, and I feel like they are doing everything they can to avoid helping me. I have dealt with other brands like Samsung, Sony, and Garmin, and all of them have resolved my issues within a week.

I am very disappointed with this company's customer service, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Panasonic shaver, battery lasted less than 2 years. Panasonic didn’t want to know. Shavers should last 5-15 years

Everything that could go wrong did!!! Worst online service I’ve had since I tried a Chinese website! I ordered a tv that was advertised by email. I was then emailed to advise that the product had been dispatched with details of the courier and a delivery date. It did not arrive and after several very long phone calls to Panasonic with little affect other than advising a delay then to be emailed that the order had been cancelled.

I’ve always purchased Panasonic flatbed combi ovens and never previously had a problem.Feb 22 I purchased a top of the range combi steam oven directly from Panasonic (as they included a 5yr warranty). Feb 23 it stopped working correctly so I contacted them by phone and email. Panasonic then instructed their repairer who collected the oven but ten days after reporting the problem I’m told Panasonic haven’t authorised the repair and have failed to inform me. Not the service you expect.

Our previous Panasonic microwave K lasted just 4 years so I was reluctant to go back. But they dominate the UK market for flatbed units which are great - so when I saw they offered a 5 year guarantee on the £450 NN-DS59NBBPQ, I placed an order. But they don’t just send you the guarantee or even mention it at any further point, or how to get it. It took 2 hours of phone conversations with rather hostile call centres and really complicated online dealings with a separate Canadian company - including having to submit scans of receipt, photo of product label, serial number, order number, date of order, price paid - on and on - to actually register the guarantee. In other words regurgitate loads of info that Panasonic already had! They made it as obscure and difficult as possible. Why? This has really shaken my faith in Panasonic and they are definitely not on my preferred list for future purchases. The microwave looks ok. Control knob is a bit flimsy.

I spent nearly £500 on a combination oven. Less than one year in, the plastic arm on one tray started to smoulder and give off acrid fumes, as well as dropping burning material on the floor.
I contacted their chat line, who told me that I would have to buy a new one because 'accessories are not covered by the warranty.' It (must have been a bot) then directed me to a page about warranties that doesn't mention this restriction. The bot then signed off by telling me to have a great day, Appalling.

Excellent service from a customer focused company.
I ordered my new camera Tuesday and Thursday it will be delivered £50 cheeper than listed due to extra 10% discount given and free delivery

What more can a customer expect or want.

Panasonic direct UK had fooled me into returning a faulty Genius microwave, for a THIRD repair!! They said it would be for an inspection, only then could they offer me another solution to this sorry saga. This has been going on since April 2021.

My microwave has been away now for over 3 months with TVRS Glasgow, yes a TV and Video repair shop, that covers the entire UK for Panasonic repairs !!

Panasonic has offered me a 5%- 10% discount on another microwave from them, depending on what model I'd be stupid enough to buy from them again!!

Needless to say this is not acceptable.

I have asked for the microwave to be returned (after all they now claim this third time, that the fault cannot be replicated!!! Unbelievable, I've been without this microwave for over 7 months in total, and repaired twice, now no fault!! Panasonic are the worst customer service, and after sales company I have ever had the misfortune to buy from, and deal with.

I was told by Panasonic I have to liaise with TVRS Glasgow for the return of the microwave (after all it is MY property), I have, as often before, phoned them several times, and never ever is there anyone to deal with my requests, always saying "someone will call you with regards to the return" they NEVER do. Clearly I can see why Panasonic direct UK have them for their service and repairs, because they're as bad as themselves !!!

Utterly disgusted with both companies.

My advice, please stay away from them!!!!

This company is so difficult to deal with. My new Breadmaker needs to be returned. I recently purchased a new one to replace my aged Breadmaker, which although works perfectly( it’s the same model as my new broken one) is looking very worn and the plastic has cracked .
The new Breadmaker never worked properly, producing flat heavy loaves, but using exactly the same ingredients from the same packets my old one works perfectly. I phoned their tec. department and was told to try new flour, new yeast, lemon juice etc, it’s as though they can’t get their heads round that the ingredients aren’t to blame it’s the machine.
Eventually after several more calls they have agreed to collect the machine, which they have now booked two collections , neither of which turned up. Two days booked off work , complained but they say they are sorry and doing their best. Will not let me take it to be delivered by anyone else so I am now waiting for yet another collection. Maybe you could send me my replacement in the meantime? I asked. Apparently not,
that’s just too much to hope for.
Just don’t use them, it’s not worth the hassle, go to anyone else, they’ve got to be better.

Panasonic an awful company to deal with.
Bought a television as a Xmas present when unpacked was found to be damaged. The company not interested £339 wasted. Customer service terrible you can’t speak to anyone senior and just don’t want to know. Panasonic do not buy from !!!!!!
