Very disappointed with the time it took…
Very disappointed with the time it took for the shoes to arrive. As the shoes were too large I wanted to returned them and what a pain that was,your company do not make it easy and then another saga to actually get a refund all in all from purchase to refund it took 5 weeks. Won’t happen again!

Misleading Offers & Costly Returns
After placing an order using an exclusive offer, I noticed a better public discount available the next day, so I had to place a second order. On top of that, charging a £5 fee for every return makes the whole experience really inconvenient.
Please remove me from your early-bird promotional emails. The discounts aren't actually better, which feels completely misleading.

Failure of customer service refund
So the shoes didn't fit. No drama. Trying to return them and get a refund, big drama. Received the shoes end of June, and they were too small. No problem with the quality. Navigating the refund process not so easy. Couldn't access the refund label so messaged customer services and they sent it. Posted the parcel 11th July and heard nothing since. August 20th today. E-mailed the same contact for update...nothing. Would just like to receive my £50 refund please.

Waiting 3 weeks for £140 refund, and no response from customer service
I returned 3 items which Palladium acknowledged and Confirmed that I would be sent a refund.
Unfortunately 3 weeks (14 working days) later, they have still not refunded the £140 I am owed, and are not responding to any of my emails.
I have since raised a dispute via PayPal and they have still not responded.

Oxfords are not what they were
Oxfords are not what they were. My last pair had 3 eyelets on each side, and these new ones have four. The cut of the fabric is different, and they just don't fit as well. They are baggy around the ankles, the heels are very hard, and the lining is not as soft as previously. My previous Palladiums didn't need wearing in as they were such a good fit and so comfortable , but I doubt that these will ever be so comfortable. I did try them on at home, but it was impossible to appreciate the difference until I wore them outside. The plus points are the colour of the fabric and the sole which is comfortable. If the previous design was reinstated, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, but I would strongly advise against buying these due to poor fit.

We understand your disappointment, particularly after having found the previous design so comfortable and well-fitting. We’re sorry that the changes to the eyelets, fabric cut, ankle fit, heel and lining have affected the overall comfort for you. We also understand how difficult it can be to notice these differences when trying the shoes on at home, before wearing them outside.
We’re pleased to hear that you still appreciate the colour and find the sole comfortable, but we regret that these positive aspects have not been enough to make up for the differences in fit and comfort.

The shoes are fantastic
The shoes are fantastic. They are comfortable and feel like they will last a while.
The laces that come with them are stiff but they break in after some time. Don't give into the urge to replace them with softer cotton ones. I did that and had 3 pairs snap on me. I put the originals back on and, while they annoyed me at first, it was worth waiting for them to soften up. They are strong and have no signs they'll fray or stretch any time soon.
The actual soles feel grippy and rugged, but don't deaden my feet so much that I can't drive with them on. I'd feel confident to do some light walking/hiking with them and not have to change into a lighter shoe to drive there and back.
The only issue I had was the long shipping time; Something I believe others have had an issue with before. Worth the wait though. I'll be buying a second pair when these ones wear out.
