I received a little something to make up for the lack of chunks in my granola and I couldn’t be happier. I had asked to also be sent the matcha variety alongside the chocolate one, and I ended up receiving two of each 😵 such generosity I wouldn’t have expected, but it’s much appreciated ❤️❤️
As for the quality, the matcha variety is excellent. I like how there are goji berries, hemp seeds and cashew nuts in it, and hazelnuts to top it off. My family own a hazelnut orchard in Turkey, which is common in the region they’re from, and the delicate flavor of the hazelnuts in this Pal & Leo granola instantly took me back to summers of helping the hazelnut pickers pick hazelnuts in the orchard.
I frankly love this brand and I’ve even started bingeing on it a little - and it’s good to know this is a binge that’s good for me. ;-)

Delicious but dangerous
While the granola is delicious, it is dangerous. No warning on packaging that it contains fragments (likely walnut shell) which are as hard as rock. Almost broke a tooth biting down on a piece of granola this morning from their dark chocolate range. It's happened more than once discovering very hard pieces in the mix. My tooth has ached all day since this experience. Not worth the risk. Needs to improve quality control.
Updated review. The company has since contacted me about my experience and reassured me that they are updating their quality control process and labelling. I do recommend the product for its amazing taste. Nonetheless, I advise caution about walnut shells, like one would be when eating pitted olives.
