Beware: Ozone Kites - A Disheartening Experience
I eagerly joined the world of kitesurfing having received a kite from Ozone Kites as a gift from my wife in February 2021. Regrettably, my experience has been really bad primarily due to the lousy customer service provided by Ozone Kites.
Two weeks ago, I encountered a significant issue with my kite, a clear product fault that happened while kiting. I reached out to Ozone through various channels, hoping for a fast and supportive response. However, I was met with silence for two weeks, leaving me really disappointed.
When Ozone Kites finally responded, their answer was simple: the warranty had expired, and my concerns were dismissed without any attempt at assistance. It was such an indifferent approach to a legitimate product fault which was truly heartbreaking.
While I acknowledge that warranties have limitations, the true test of a company lies in how it addresses issues arising from clear product defects. Their lack of responsiveness and support has really given me a terrible experience with their product and brand.
Which is why I cannot recommend Ozone Kites. Despite their solid team of riders, they really fall short in providing the necessary help. In a sport like kitesurfing, where interaction with the producer is almost inevitable—be it for tips, product faults, or recommendations—Ozone Kites is bound to disappoint. Investing in their products will not be worth the frustration and disappointment that their customer service can bring.
