The Oxcellerate program has been nothing short of spectacular; it has helped me to greatly develop my academic prowess and intuition beyond syllabus content and exam questions, especially in maths; it has raised my grades and nurtured my confidence when approaching questions and learning new concepts; and it has enticed me to become curious to know what lies outside of the specification of my subjects. To simply say the Oxcellerate program is helpful would be a massive understatement; we have received invaluable advice from students of Oxford regarding careers, UCAS forms, super curriculars and work experience. Adam has been extremely helpful in this regard, taking time out of hours to assist us with work and answering any questions and enquiries. The group sessions have been particularly productive as discussion has assisted me in reaffirming, correcting and clarifying my thoughts and understanding when practicing questions and solving problems. Overall I will reiterate that the Oxcellerate program is absolutely worth investing in. It is proving to provide everything I need and more for a successful academic journey.

I’d been struggling with A-Level maths for months — going through the motions in class but never really getting it. A friend recommended I try one-to-one tutoring, and honestly it changed everything.From the first session, my tutor(Adam) took the time to figure out exactly where my understanding broke down rather than just re-teaching the syllabus from scratch. He had this way of asking questions that made me work through problems myself instead of just watching him solve them — frustrating at times, but it’s clearly how the knowledge actually sticks. Adam, among all the other tutors, is a really knowledgeable person when it comes to my subjects. As he not only attends Oxford but thrives the knowledge he can give you goes a long way. 5 stars across the board from me.

Excellent Support for Uni applications
My year 13 son attended a webinar with the tutors from Oxcellerate and found it so useful that he booked a 1-1 mock interview with Hamid in preparation for his engineering interview with Oxford. The feedback we received (both written and verbal) was informative, insightful and detailed. Very good practical tips of how to develop his ability to interview. Oxcellerate comes highly recommended by us, I'll come back to them again if my younger son decides to go down the Oxbridge route!

I had interviews for Oxford Computer Science, and my sessions with Adam and Somto helped me tremendously in preparation and feeling confident. I joined oxcellerate during the summer of year 12 when i made my decision to apply to oxfords engineering course, I had done well in my mocks and achieved the necessary predicted grades, I knew from there a tutor would be necessary which is when I contacted Hamid, he went through the entire PAT specification with me, prompted me and improved my problem solving abilities. I did the PAT in October and got invited to interview with Oxford shortly after. The entire process went smoothly thanks to their rigorous process to get me interview-ready. I’d 100% recommend oxcellerate, they were absolutely essential in my application process!

I had been looking for a good Maths tutor for a long time, and they impressed me with their unique approach to teaching. The tutors don’t just rush through the theory and past paper questions; they take the time to put each topic into context. If something isn’t clear, they try different methods to explain it until every detail is completely understandable. You can really feel that they care about your learning, not only your exam results. This makes a big difference, especially when preparing for Oxbridge.

It was very good having a mock interview, which helped me understand how mathematical physics interviews are and overall the interview experience which came up in my Manchester interview (no Cambridge interview 😓) ahaa should defo use them it’s was very welcoming.

Great style of teaching. I have never left a session with lacking understanding in the topics I’ve covered.

I had engineering oxbridge mock interviews with Tony and Hamid which were very useful for my real interview. We worked through challenging problems that were unique and tailored for oxbridge style involving discussions about the subject which allowed me to think and adapt on the spot. Furthermore the feedback i received afterwards was very detailed and on point which allowed me to reflect and improve my weaknesses.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would 100% recommend it.

Oxcellerate’s mock interview package is worth it.
Booking was simple & handled professionally, and my session with Tony included realistic interview questions paired with just the right amount of guidance like in the real interview. He was able to give me specific advice on topics and technique to improve on not only in the post-interview document, but also embedded throughout the interview.
It really boosted my confidence having an authentic experience of a mock interview, which helped me perform better in my real interview.
