Inspection was thorough. Eric noted a deficiency. After it was repaired by the homeowner, Eric was back to ensure it was well done.

Among the oldest and most reputable home inspection companies in Ottawa and Gatineau, with over 60 years of combined experience as full-time home inspectors. Fully insured, accredited, engineering backgrounds, our knowledge and experience is unmatched. Our reports far exceed standard home inspection reports. We delve deep into the issues, we explain the issue to you, what happened, how it happened, why it happened, and how it should be corrected. We discuss the science and engineering behind the issues, we don't simply identify a potential issue and recommend further investigation. Our reports are fully narrative. Complete paragraphs specially written for your unique home, and include a wealth of photos and illustrations to help our clients understand the topic. We also provide more than your typical home inspection. We perform geotechnical research on the property, research local sewer data, and even provide a helpful reference sheet for your insurance paperwork which even includes the closest fire hydrant location and the address and driving distance of the nearest fire station. Our quality assurance measures, such as our unique photographic analysis and video review processes, guarantees you receive the most thorough and accurate inspection possible. Hundreds of high resolution photographs are taken with high-res telephoto lenses, allowing us to scrutinize each photo in detail on a 50" HD display. The entire inspection is recorded on our bodycam, allowing us to review the entire inspection process during our post-inspection research and quality assurance phases. Our inspection methodology also gives you added value. While most inspectors prefer to be left alone to do their job and will then sit down with you afterwards. We bring you along through the inspection and explain every system to you as we inspect them. We will teach you how each system works, the building science principles behind them, and how to operate and maintain them. You will receive a comprehensive crash course on your new home as part of your home inspection.

Hi Del, I'm so sorry for the late reply, I just noticed the notification of your review just now! Thank you so much for the nice review! As I always say, nothing makes me happier than hearing that my client is happy with the service I provided. My clients are the most important thing when it comes to my business, which is why I'm always available to my clients for whatever additional support they need, no matter how long down the road. Surpassed exspectations , very professional would reccomend.
Eric was very informative and even though my first use I did not get the intended results I wanted it proved to me that home inspections were an immediate must and I was saved tens of thousands on what could have been a nightmare. I used his services on the second home I had found and had a more favorable result. Of course it wasn't issue free but he went into detail on what could be done to remedy the issues.

Eric was sincerely concerned with our peace of mind
Eric was clear, concise, and thorough
He took great care during the inspection to describe what he was seeing and made extensive recommendations regarding improvement to many aspects of the property. He was clear to prioritize maintenance with a long term view of the property and future resale value as well as peace of mind regarding existing condition and cost effective upgrades.
I would use Eric again and highly recommend his service to my friend and family.

Hi George, thank you so much for the nice review! It was a great pleasure meeting you and I enjoyed inspecting the triplex for you. I also enjoyed meeting your realtor, I liked her friendly easy-going nature. It was a very pleasant inspection :). Like I said in my email, don't be alarmed by the length of the issues in the deficiencies and recommendations section, it's mainly all little things, typical for an older building like this one. The main thing would be to address that front porch which is leaking water into the basement apartment through the cold storage. Thanks again, and please don't hesitate to call me anytime in the future if you ever need additional help, I never charge my clients for additional support, no matter how far in the future it is.
Very knowledgeable and thorough
Eric was very knowledgeable and gave us a thorough inspection. Very satisfied.

I gained a thorough understanding about the condition of my house
The inspection of my house was a terrific educational experience. Eric generously provided me with explanations about every aspect of my house that we were examining. He made me part of the whole process. The knowledge and understanding I gained about the condition of my house made me stronger because I was not in the dark. I was able to move on to the next step in the sale of my house. Eric's manner is very supportive so I didn't have to dwell on the negative. Having a supportive team makes all the difference in the world. Eric provided me with referrals to contractors that I could trust to do a good j
