Stayed at Villa Dora for a week, the service from start to finish from Optima was excellent as always.
Bit of a sad week for personal reasons but the Villa was just what we needed. Lovely quiet location, everything you could need was supplied. Pool was really clean as was the Villa itself. We would stay again and thoroughly recommend. Thanks to Optima for the great service again.

We have been to Playa Blanca many times but it was our first time using Optima Villas, we were very impressed and will definitely use them again in the future. We were lacking a kettle when we arrived but this was very quickly rectified. Villa was lovely, spacious and very clean, perfect for the 5 of us.

Brilliant stay at Villa Palmyra Playa Blanca. First Class service, communication and accommodation from Optima. Highly recommend.

Another fantastic stay with Optima. We had a couple of maintenance issues that was resolved swiftly by Dawn and the team. Much appreciated for everything, we are already looking forward to our next trip!

Currently on our last day here and cannot recommend optima villas highly enough . We are able to have a later check out tomorrow and really appreciate this . The villa is spotless and everything is perfect so much so that I’m looking to book again later in the year . Thank you so much x

Villa del Ajache Grande
We have been to Playa Blanca many times and used a number of different villa rental companies, but this was the first time booking through Optima Villas.
Booking process was simple, all relevant info provided, and the couple of emails I sent prior to arrival were responded to promptly.
The villa is first class, exactly as described and pictured online, can’t fault it in any way. Beds very comfortable, pool area clean and well maintained, was great for the kids. Villa really well equipped and spotlessly clean. Plenty of towels etc provided also. The welcome pack was great, and the fact there was no issues with a later check out when we have a late flight home with 2 kids was very much appreciated.
We will not hesitate to book with Optima Villas again.

Villa Oleander
A beautiful villa and lovely outside space with mature well tended garden.
Upon arriving we noticed how clean the villa was so a big thank you to the hard working housekeeping staff.
It’s a short 10 min walk to marina Rubicón and only a few mins walk to the number 30 circular route bus stop. It was a quiet residential area but you could see over to the rubicon area and each the world go by.
All staff were very quick to reply to emails (from the moment we booked) and I felt confident that they were on hand if needed and we were able to have a late check out which was amazing.
We will be booking another villa with optima villas.

Optimal Villas provide an excellent comprehensive service from booking, to arrival & during stay.
Villas are superb.
Instructions regarding villa are clear,detailed & concise.
I have booked with them over many years & have never found any reason to look elsewhere.

We were so impressed with how professional optima villas were . We could not fault a thing , from the beautiful casa blanca villa to the very clear instructions about the villa. They replied to my email very promptly .
I wish optima villas operated in other canary island's aswel as Lanzarote as we would love to use them again . We would highly recommend optima villas as the property was beautiful and they made things easy . Thankyou for making our holiday so special.

Optima Villas provide great communication prior to travel and good information on the area you are visiting. I'd give them 5 stars.
Casa Dolores was exceptionally clean and the welcome pack was well received, Thank you.
The villa has a great Hot Tub and a good pool. Lovely and quiet and pretty private too.
Double bed was very comfortable, and I am fussy. It would be good if you could zip link one set of the twin beds and not have fixed headboards, minor niggle.
Good Wifi and TV reception.
It needs a decent sized bread board (prep board) in the kitchen. There is a lack of sockets in the kitchen too, but we managed.
20 minute walk to town and a shorter walk to the number 30 bus stop if you want to go further on the bus which circuits Playa Blanca.
If there were 6 adults in the villa I think it may be a bit tight with seating in the lounge.
Overall we had a lovely week in Casa Dolores, any negatives I have are just niggles, and that is because I compare to other villas I have stayed in. The Hot Tub is by far the best we have ever had in a villa on the island. Great to dip in to after a long walk.

We recently returned from a 12 day holiday in Lanzarote and feel we need to inform others not to book the same apartment until the necessary works have been carried out and the apartment is fit for purpose. We booked Mariola’s Beach in Puerto del Carmen and this is managed by Optima Villas. The apartment directly above, Mariola’s Sunset, is owned by the same family and also managed by Optima Villas. At first glance you might think the apartments would be very similar as one sits above the other but nothing could be more different! We were a party of 4 adults and we would like to say we struggled for 12 days in this property. The water pressure is virtually non existent and both bathrooms need much better showers installing. We had no hot water as the apartment above feeds from the same tank and as there were 4 adults in there too, we had to wait until mid morning to get any hot water. The hot water tap on the en-suite bidet did not work at all and the shower was a trickle of water, due to the lack of pressure. Washing hair or shower gel off was impossible unless undertaken in cold water. The second bathroom was smelly and the shower leaked out, flooding the floor each time and out into the corridor. This meant constant mopping each time we took a shower. The drawers under the sink were also broken. The mixer tap in the tiny galley kitchen was hanging off and had to be reported. The WiFi was dreadful and we had to keep asking for someone to come and sort it out. We were unable to watch the tv at all. The second bedroom is tiny and is not representative of the photos shown. There is one cupboard which was mouldy inside and smelled fusty. There were no bedside tables or lamps and the room is very dark. The property has no aircon but there was a large box with a Tower Fan. Unfortunately, this box was empty and despite 2 emails to Optima Villas to ask where it was or for a replacement, this never materialised. Staying 12 nights in a damp and rather smelly apartment was not the most pleasant of experiences. There is a microwave and a very small 2 ring hob but cooking anything in such a small space was virtually impossible. The toaster, kettle and coffee machine were stacked one on top of the other on the work surface because there is no space to put anything or indeed to prepare food. In addition, much of the cutlery and crockery was either missing or completely mismatched and after speaking to the people renting the apartment above, discovered that theirs was the same. It would appear perhaps both apartments have been rented by family or friends and items moved around from downstairs to upstairs and vice-versa. The downstairs villa lacked many essential items which we can only assume must have found their way upstairs. We did ask those holidaymakers if we could view upstairs (Mariola’s Sunset) and what a contrast! That apartment is light and airy with a large, well equipped kitchen, nice furniture and 3 double bedrooms! Downstairs feels like it is the “poor relation”. The metal dining table inside the downstairs apartment was rusting and had very sharp edges, together with a broken chair. Thank goodness we did not have children with us. There are huge patches of damp and paint peeling from the walls and a socket with wires hanging from the wall next to the tv. This apartment is in definite need of some decoration and new furniture and quite frankly is not fit for renting out at the prices quoted and needs a complete overhaul. It is not the standard you would expect of Optima Villas and we can only assume it is because this apartment is linked to the one above that Optima continue to manage this. Each time we complained to Optima, they did send someone to try and sort the problem, but, they were very limited with what they could achieve. We do thank them for their help and assistance but they really need to go back to the owners of this property and insist it is upgraded. It simply is not fair to rent this out otherwise. The apartment commands a superb position overlooking the beach and sea and if upgraded would be fabulous but at this time we would advise people not to rent this unless you are prepared for a very poor experience. We have reported all of these issues directly to Optima Villas, together with photographic evidence and they informed us they will be speaking directly to the owners in order to rectify the situation and a financial settlement was agreed by both parties for which we thank them. We do hope nobody else has to encounter the same situation at this apartment. We are very well travelled and do not make complaints lightly so we hope this information can help others to have a much better experience.

Just back from another wonderful holiday in an Optima Villa. As always the Villa was spotlessly clean for our arrival and with the best quality furnishings. Optima villas are there if you need them but don't bother you unless you contact them. Perfect set up. We can assure anyone who might be a bit wary of booking a villa for the first time that you will be in excellent hands with Optima.

Spotlessly clean.
5 min walk to Supermarket and local bars and restaurants.
20 min walk to Marina with extensive Restaurants and bars.
Ideal Property for family holiday

Optima Villas are really good to book your holiday with - they are very good at communicating and confirming everything, and the Villa was immaculate :)

Great company to deal with . The Villa was spotless, great equipment in the kitchen , lovely towels . We have stayed with Optima twice a year since 2017 . Looking forward to our November trip.

We have just returned from a 6 week stay in this villa. Situated in a quiet residential road, about a 20 min walk to Dorada Beach and a supermarket and another 10 min walk to the Marina which wasn't an issue for us as we enjoy walking, and we didn't hire a car. We had a few problems at the villa which were quickly resolved by Optima. There was a nice welcome pack when we arrived and it was very clean with plenty of towels. We had a weekly clean while we were there, and the pool was cleaned twice weekly which was amazing. The pool was so nice and lovely and warm. The only negative is that I thought the villa was a little tired, and could definitely do with updating and some maintenance. Overall, we had a comfortable stay at the villa and we would definitely recommend Optima Villas, who we found very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

We have just come back from a delightfully relaxing week at Villa Piedaita in the Colorado area of Playa Blanca. The villa is very comforable, spacious and the fixtures and fittings are superb quality, possibly the nicest we have experienced in a rental to date. The location is great. There is a supermarket a few minutes away and the Marina is a nice 15 minute walk along the sea front, and the town a further 15 minutes from that, again along the sea promenade - a lovely gentle walk on a morning or in the evening before eating. The bus stop is just over the road and taxis back late at night were about 5 euros. We would definitely stay here again. It is just a shame that presently it is not possible to rent this villa with another couple even though there is ample space.

Having used Optima before we were delighted to find this lovely apartment.
Booking and communication with Optima (Mandy) was excellent.
The apartment Puerto Mar is brilliant, home from home but in the very centre of Playa Blanca, however it is the stunning view which makes it special. We were surprised how quiet it was, being on the main promenade above the shops and restaurants, we expected some noise but it was very quiet and private.
The apartment is well maintained, clean and a good size with everything you need. Would definitely go again, if we can. Thanks once again Optima for a beautiful holiday.

This is our 4th time using Optima Villas and once again we have had an amazing time. Location at villa Cielo is perfect as were the facilities , everything is catered for! Home to home. Will definitely book again before end of year.
