Home test is impossible to use. They then want to charge £29 to have the test in one of their clinics. Will not offer refunds. Well dodgy.

Hi Paul, Sorry to hear you had difficulty using the home test kit. If customers either can't or don't want to use the home test kit then we suggest visiting one of clinics. That choice is entirely up to the customer.
Looking at our records, you decided to book a clinic visit, which you didn't attend. When you contacted us, we refunded you the full amount and even waivered the £10 admin fee.
We would appreciate it if you would amend your review and we wish you well with your blood testing requirements in the future.

Quick & Easy - No issues whatsoever
Super easy to book, turned up 30 minutes before my appointment and was invited in. Very kind and professional, no issues with the blood test itself either - quick and easy. Results were delivered within half a week (with one being the next day), and were easily accessible. Would 100% recommend.

The appointment was very quick
The appointment was very quick, the person who took the sample was kind and professional. I recieved the results extremely quickly, about 2 days after I did the test.
I would definitely recommend, I have booked follow up tests with them.
Edit: I have since been back for follow up tests, great experience as said before. This time I got the results the next day!

I visited the Cambridge clinic
I visited the Cambridge clinic, the phlebotomist was a lovely lady. Made me feel at ease and was very caring when taking blood. She made sure I felt ok and explained about the health dashboard. I received my results very quickly and it was easy to understand. I recommend this company and I will visit again for sure. Thank you

Blood test
I ordered the test after watching the information video on line. Once the test arrived it was a little tricky taking the sample but I managed to complete the sample and send it off. The results came back really quickly and I was able to do some research on my results on line. I was offered a 15 minute consultation with a doctor to review the results but I found this quite expensive at £85. I appreciate time spent by a doctor is going to be expensive but in my experience discussing the results of a blood test shouldn’t take too long and therefore I feel the quotation was too high.

In regards to the doctors appointments we price this as competitively as possible and the cost is not just for the appointment but also the time prior to the appointment for our GPs to review the blood test results in detail prior to the appointment. Its important our GPs don't rush this to ensure they offer the very best guidance to our customers.
Best phlebotomist I've had!!
I had a great experience with the phlebotomist, Helen I believe her name was, and would definitely recommend her. She made me feel at ease even though I can have tricky veins 🙄 and she was extremely professional and hygienic. She explained about her injury and i watched her wash her hands several times as well as put gel on. I didn't see the need for her to take the cast off her injury because of this and so told her to proceed with the ppe she had on, which was more than enough. I'd say I've definitely found my go-to phlebotomist! Thankyou!! 😃😃

I was very nervous about the whole thing. Very confused about what I needed to ask. The person was great, very kind, reassuring and knew what needed to be done. Also, no pain!

No PPE worn, hands not washed and dirty towel on bed used from previous patient
The Phlebotomist was lovely however after filling in the forms, I didn't see the phlebotomist wash her hands and during this time she was setting up from the last client leaving, there also was no wipeable bed or couch roll or anything. Just a towel on the bed that the patient previous had also sat on which shocked me considering the room is used to take blood. Then after touching various things like a sharps bin, laptop, pen and clip board, without washing her hands she then was about to take my blood. I looked away so I didn't see and then when I looked round I noticed the lady was only wearing one glove and had taken my bloods without proper PPE on which shocked me. Overall I have left feeling a little concerned about the hygiene and cross contamination at this location. I paid £170 for a private service and I'm very disappointed.

Dear Danielle, The Phlebotomist in Cambridge suffered an unfortunate fall and hurt her hand/arm last week. This was brought to the attention of our clinical governance team and a risk assessment was carried out, as to whether she was fit to carry on with her duties. This risk assessment was satisfactory and the phlebotomist was also happy to carry on, however the glove on her injured hand was quite painful.
Whilst there is no requirement to administer the phlebotomy session in gloves, we, as a company, adhere to this wherever possible. Given that, in this particular case, dispensation was issued for one (injured) hand. Again, to confirm, there is no requirement from our clinical team or regulatory bodies to perform phlebotomy in gloves, as long as other infection control policies are followed, such as (in this particular case), long term, clinically approved, sanitisers. We are also aware that you were asked if you were happy to carry on with the appointment, which you agreed to.
In regards to the cover for the bed, and whilst the bed is disinfected after every appointment, due to an earlier rip, at the top of the bed (which was outside of our control and we were unable to correct immediately prior to your visit) this section was covered. We have now using our own disposable covers, whilst the unit is being replaced. I would like to reassure you, we have taken immediate action on this.
