I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with OluKai Europe has been extremely disappointing.

I placed two orders in July 2026. The first order required a return. Before shipping it back, I contacted customer service several times because I had been issued two separate return labels for the same order. The instructions I eventually received were unclear, but I followed them exactly and returned all three pairs in one parcel using both approved return labels.

OluKai received the parcel and refunded only one item (€95). The remaining €270 refund has still not been processed despite multiple emails, photos of the return parcel, proof of payment, and a detailed explanation of what happened.

My replacement order has also not been delivered. Tracking stopped updating, the listed pickup point confirmed they do not have the parcel, and I have still not received a clear resolution.

The most frustrating part has been the communication. I have spent weeks following up and often receive generic responses that do not answer the specific questions I asked. I still have no case reference, no clear refund timeline, and no resolution for either issue.

I hope OluKai resolves both matters promptly, but based on my experience I cannot recommend OluKai Europe.

Paid almost $200 for a pair of shoes, dont wear them much as I live in CO and they’re pretty seasonal. Love the look, fit and comfort but the quality is questionable. Had to glue the outsole on both shoes as they started coming off. Bought them at a resort in AZ. They neglected to mention the warranty and I didn’t look it up… too irritated. Over a year now, though the issue started after a few months.

Non existent AI based customer support and a substandard, over priced product. I have purchased two previous pairs of Olukai flip flops and was satisfied with what was a high quality product at an expensive price point. The latest pair I ordered were really poorly finished to the extent I would have thought they were a dodgy fake had I not purchased them from the Olukai UK website. Absolutely appalling quality for a £100 item with the added insult of £5 shipping. I have emailed them 3 times now to initiate a full refund and all you get is AI based promises that repeat back the points you’ve just made in your email and no further action. Interesting that the Olukai UK website no longer allows customer feedback/ reviews. I won’t be buying any of their overpriced products in future.

I should have read the reviews first. This company is absolute crap. They let you order and then leave you hanging if something isn’t correct.

Will order was placed for me that I did not order. I started trying to get in touch with the company on June 26 the date of the order. Finally on July 6 my credit card company took care of this unwanted purchase. Then they sent me the shoes. 10 days after they said, I had ordered them. There is something wrong here and I definitely would not recommend this company. I don’t even know how it popped up as an order. Terrible.

Awful customer service! Despite assurances that shoes could be returned I am stuck with four pairs that I cannot use. You can never reach a live customer service representative. Don’t trust Olukai!

I will never purchase another pair of shoes( Golf, Slippers or Type) I’ve purchased 5 pair of your shoes) Golf, Slippers and 2 pair of your Mesh Shoes. One pair had an issue within the year warranty period and you replaced them with a pic and proof of purchase. Standing behind your product! Customer for life!

Want to return a pair of shoes in the wrong size. Went through the slow and complicated return procedure. In the end it showed a message saying the return label will be send in 24 hrs. That in itself is strange, most companies send that email immediate.

By now 72 hrs have passed, I have received 2 mails with advertisements but no returnlabel.
Tried to contact by email @info, no answer.
Tried to call but ended up with a bot in another complicated menu.

Horrible experience sofar and therefore I do NOT RECOMMEND using olukai.eu for your purchases.

I ordered my husband a pair of Olukai shoes for Father's Day and they were too big. I ordered the smaller size and they fit. When I called to return the first pair it was outside of the 30 day return window but because it was a gift and they allowed me to return the shoes. I got Christopher on the line and he was so positive and helpful. The entire exchange was quick and they made the return easy with a QR code and I can drop them off at a nearby UPS store to return. I don't know yet how the shoe holds up but the customer service was fantastic.

They really don’t have a customer service department. Calls are answered by a machine. They have an option of getting a call back. They lie. I tried the AI chat. It kept dropping out. After numerous tries, I finally got my message through. The reply from AI was that I had to go through a live agent. I was promised that I would be contacted by email. Good luck with that. This all started with me trying to use a gift card. There was no way to enter it. The order placed and was charged to my card. I was trying to have the amount of the gift card refunded and replaced by the amount of the gift card. The AI ‘person’ said this was impossible. I would only recommend them to someone I really hated.

My initial review was based on an extremely high level of frustration. I had never used AI before and wasn't sure about it. I was forced to use it since talking with a real person was impossible. Once I started using AI, I was very impressed. It was like speaking with a real person except it was quicker and more accurate. The recommendations I have for OluKai are to improve their order forms an process so that using gift cards is not a challenge and to somehow communicate that AI is their customer service and don't waste time and energy trying to talk to a real person. I noticed on other reviews that their customer service was rated very low. Better communication up front by OluKai would alleviate many of the problems and frustrations experienced by their customers. As I stated earlier, using AI was not a challenge, in fact, it was almost a pleasure.

Purchased sandals and shoes on a Thursday nothing for 5 days then I recieve an email stating they refunded my money for the sandals. I didn’t want a partial order I wanted both items. I contact support and they said well you have to accept them and then return them. If I’m paying $250 for sandals and shoes I expect what I paid for. This was my first purchase with the company and there won’t be another.

Honestly one of the worst after buy customer service experience ive had a years. Takes days to get a response if you are looking for a warranty replacement and by the time they respond back they are out of stock for the replacement you are looking for. Im so surprised they are not more responsive...I own probably around 12 products from them and I will not be buying or promoting their products anymore. I really liked this company, but something is not right here.

Update: Looks like they are completely ignoring me now and blocked my phone number so I cant call...

Been ordering their great products for years however their website, “Virtual” assistant, and customer service is the worst I have ever experienced!
Trying to connect with a human being who hopefully have a higher IQ than their AI, which must stand for “absolutely idiotic” is impossible which equates to me not ordering product and them Lodi g money!
Does it get any stupider than this from a business stand point!

I was so excited to get my shoes but it went all down hill from there. They are not sized properly. I always wear a 9 1/2 and the shoes were more like an 8. To further the frustration, I emailed the company, got no reply. I called and got a nice guy on the customer service line but he couldn't give any guidance about what size to reorder, and returning is not simple as I work on a remote island off the coast of Maine. Frustrated!

UPDATE to Ulukai: I have already emailed you with specifics. Please see your inbox from Tuesday at 3:28 and another email to you Wednesday at 12:34. Today is Friday and I am still awaiting a response from you. Thank you.

My personal details are in the emails. My experience with ulukai are in the above review. I don’t understand why you are failing to respond with a solution/refund/apology.

Online Olukai have a very good reputation but Trustpilot the rating is poor, so I was hesitant. However, these (Mens Ohana) are exactly what was looking for. Extremely comfy without being worn in, so I imagine they'll get even better. A few bad reviews for wear so we'll see how we get on.

y family and I have purchased many shoes from Olukai and have been very pleased with the products. We found them to be of decent quality but not cheap.
We will not be ordering anymore shoes in the future because of their return policies and customer service. after many emails, phone calls etc. we were never able to speak to a real live person to explain our situation and resolve the problem. Customer service is everything in this modern age and Olukai does not have any customer service.

I ordered a pair of Ladies, size 8 $80 flip-flops, when the package arrived today, I received a pair of men's size 13 sneakers. There is no way to call this company. Their phone just rings and rings and then says you need to contact them via email or by using the chatbot. They sent me a return label but refused to send my original order to me until they got the wrong order back. After complaining again and saying this is horrible customer service. They just said sorry. We're working on it. Ridiculous!

Great sandals and even better customer service! I had my mail stolen and Olukai replaced my order - it wasn't their fault and they didn't have to but the did anyway. Truly great service.
