I recently purchased an oil painting of a street scene in Paris. The original artist Pissaro is a famous impressionist and his series of street scenes is special. Buying this street scene was an amazing experience!

The artist did a superb job. This is a 30 inch by 40 canvas with lots of detail. So, she had to put in a great deal of effort.

First, let it be known that after approximately (6) months of looking for re-production oil paintings we ended up empty handed. The costs of other re-production companies’ paintings and quality standards were not acceptable, and the variety choice was very much lacking.

I haver now ordered three paintings from OilPaintings.com. They are stunning. I ordered 3 36 x 24 paintings of Teddy Roosevelt, George Washington and Andrew Jackson for my office. Everyone who sees them can not believe how close to the original they are and simply how beautiful they are - especially the T.R. and A.J.. I will be ordering more soon and encourage anyone who wants a hand painted copy of an original to do the same. You will not be disappointed.

I struck gold when I found OilPaintings.com. I had ordered a painting from another company in the past and was disappointed with the result so I went in search of another. I wanted to surprise my mother with a portrait by John Singer Sargent, one of her favorite artists. When I called to place a custom order (since it didn’t appear on their website), I never expected to get the owner himself! (The last company I used, it was impossible to ever talk to a human being, let alone the owner). I liked Lowell right away. He’s an honest and personable man who is willing to work with you and accommodate you in every way -very professional and flexible. When I explained that I wanted the painting to arrive in time for Christmas, he assured me that he would personally oversee my commission and do all he could to make that happen. (Time was short – it was already mid- November). He promised to ask the artist to work only on my commission and to make sure it was shipped out at least ten days before the holiday. Sure enough, it arrived well before Christmas, despite a blinding snowstorm and the pandemic!
When the truck arrived (it was a giant painting so it came via special courrier), my mother had no idea what it was. When she opened it, she was absolutely flabbergasted. She said it was a "stunning" painting, an "exact likeness" of Sargent's Lady Agnew of Lochnaw, from the soulful expression of her eyes to the delicate violet of her elegant sash, to the exquisite diaphanous sleeve of her dress. She couldn't believe how well the artist had captured the soul of the original. I agree 1000%. Honestly, I don't think I could tell the original from the copy - and I'm an Art History professor! The gilded Rococo-inspired frame was also gorgeous, every bit as beautiful as the original in the National Gallery of Scotland, and the perfect complement to this magnificent painting.
In short, I can't recommend this company highly enough. Portraits are, in my opinion, the most challenging genre to reproduce because it's so hard to capture the spirit and personality of the sitter, but this artist, whoever he or she was, did a masterful job. I'm sure Sargent would heartily approve!

I ordered several paintings from this company in September, 2020. At first, I was upset, because it was well beyond the 16 week time period for me to receive my paintings, however, after speaking with the owner, Lowell, he assured me that the paintings would be coming within days, and the backlog was due to the large number of orders that he has received. (Lucky him.)
Well, I received the paintings today, and I am extremely pleased with the final product. It was well worth waiting for. I ordered, "On the Cliffs of Bell Isle on Mer, Sunset" "River Landscape with Bridge and Distant Mountains II" and "The Shortening Winters Day is near a Close" All beautifully done, and look very, very close to the originals. Great talented artists! I will not hesitate to order from this company again.
Important note: when ordering please state that you want the paintings to be delivered already stretched on canvas, and not rolled up. That was my error.
