The appartment I stayed in was just like the pictures and the owner was truly helpful.

No waiting in lines, no lost reservations, no headaches... amazing idea.

The apartment was very nice, close to metro station and Mitte. We really enjoyed our stay .

Used oh-berlin for two breaks. Both apartments were well described on their site and easy to book. These aren't hotels so be prepared to speak to people, normal people, not hotel people, who let out their apartments. On both of my visits the landlords have been great, helpful and informative without being around all the time. Time spent in research before is well spent - check out location, public transport links, local sights... and wherever you end up will be more enjoyable.

Hot water difficult to regulate. Hopefully easily fixed?
Large rooms, good Internet, close to transport. Centrally located in old east Berlin.
Would stay again.

The apartment on Wiclefstrasse was newly renovated, modern, super clean, with all amenities, including dishwasher and laundry, as well as all kitchen equipment. Mr. Pawel was extremely helpful, and the neighbors were friendly. The location was good, especially since we had a car -- fifteen minutes to Brandenburg gate area, and an easy off/on from the no. 100 Stadtring Beusselstrasse exit, not to mention near to the Zoo area and Charlottenburg. There is a supermarket nearby, and all other services. The subway (U Bahn) stops are about three longish blocks away, and the S-bahn station at Beusselstrasse a bit further. The apartment would be especially attractive April-October/November because of its terrace.
The fifth-floor walkup may be an issue to some people (no elevator), but we were surprised how little we minded it, given the quality of the apartment. Anyone with a lot of luggage will have to take a short taxi ride from the S-Bahn or a long schlep from the U Bahn.

Just use this service, it works, is easy to use and the apartments on offer are fine.

really lovely friendly place to stay, very helpful people, who gave us gifts of donuts upon our arrival!

The place itself is about 40 minute bus/tram ride outside the city of Berlin and surrounded by the Tegeler forest. Although it made a wonderful place to stay in winter, it would be absolutely perfect in summer as there is a lake nearby.

The sauna is in full working order and they provide gowns and sandals, I am not sure if it says it on the blurb but it is 7euro's per person per day.

Overall lovely place to stay and if I ever need to stay around Berlin again I will be seeing if this apartment is free.

Arrived to pick-up the key - but the office was closed.
Was sent to a Restaurant to get the key, but the key was to a different flat to the one I booked. Key difference was that this was 3 floors up with no lift !
Flat smelt musty/damp and we had to make our own beds. Heating worked OK,

This flat was in a area littered with sex shops. I know Berlin has a lot, but no mention of the flat area suitability is made in the write-ups.

Our experience in Berlin was truly wonderful, the Berliners cool and sophisticated, liked the chat with us older yet up for it dames!! great city for shopping and eating out was a total delight, great five star food at great prices. Shopping was so different, stopping off and getting fine individual care, paying much less than here in Ireland, there was such attentiveness to detail, The apartment was in a wonderful location, walking through a walled garden, quiet, and yet so close to all the markets and good shopping areas. Taxis cheap and available. We will be back!!

We stayed in Berlin from 4-12 December 2012. The apartment in Charlottenburg was well appointed and conveniently located, shops, buses and rail services were all within a comfortable walking distance. In addition, wa received first classs service from OH-Berlin. WE will use OH-Berlin in the future and recomend them without reservation.

Good, simple, efficient service. Had no reason to raise any issues with them.

The apartment was nice and a good value. Before we arrived there was some confusion about a double-booking with the apartment owner, but it was resolved smoothly. A good experience, might very well book again and certainly recommend to friends.

Easy to book, apartment as described, close to shops, restaurant and tube station. Very good quality with easy access to Berlin centre and Tegel Airport.

Our apartment was an absolute bargain and we could not fault anything during our stay. The owner was friendly, the apartment was pristine and had everything we needed, even tea bags and coffee!! Effort had really been made to make the place welcoming. We expected from the website and reviews that it would be nice, but it was even better than we could have dreamed of!

Visiting my son who is studying in Berlin. First time renting an apartment as against a hotel. You feel as though you are part of the city rather than just passing through. Will do so again... soon! Everything went smoothly.
Passed on the discount coupons to my son and his girlfriend. Oh to be 30 years younger !!!
