They are trying to break the law and reject my right to a full refund however we will be taking further legal action with this company if they continue to refuse us of our money. I would advise to stay away from this company. Do not buy any items.

I bought a hoverboard from this company…
I bought a hoverboard from this company as a Christmas present for my children in December last year. It has had issues with it since I opened it, making clicking and rattling sounds and not responding to my child’s weight, constantly beeping, even when well within the recommended weight for the board. I initially asked for a refund, but was told this was not possible and asked to record a series of videos showing the faults, which I did. They replied to say it doesn’t look like there was an issue from the video. All emails sent after this do not go through and says they were rejected by the recipient. It is impossible to get in touch with the customer services team to look into the issues. Avoid buying from this company, or you will have some very disappointed children!

Terrible company. Bought my daughter a hoverkart for her birthday and it worked fine for like 3 days then it started flashing red and beeping. So I googled why and it said to make sure its full charged etc so I made sure all that was done and still didnt help. So I emailed the company and they have asked me to send about 10 videos now and everytime I send one they ask me to send one of something else. Its not rocket science its a hoverboard and the kart sits on top a velcro loops round to secure it, you cant exactly mess that up so I dont know why they need so many videos. Getting nowhere with them going to issue a chargeback with my bank. This is obviously a big issue cos lots of similar reviews. Dont use them go somewhere else to buy one.

Like others, I wish I could give 0 stars. We bought a hoverboard and kart for my sons Christmas gift, and it is clearly useless and unusable. Despite sending video upon video to Official Hoverboard on email and on their supposed 'chat' service on website, we've received minimal response and no further along to receiving a refund or to try and rectify the problem. We are absolutely gutted to have spent so much money, and feel for our 9 year old who was so excited. Total con artists, please avoid this company at all costs.

Do not buy anything from this website! Bought our 4yr old a hoverboard for xmas. Was faulty & has never worked. No number that is ever active & they refused to let us return it! Made us send loads of videos showing it was faulty, which we did. Finally got a return label & requested a refund only to have it sent back saying theyd "repaired it" emailed them to say i dont want a repaired one & its clearly faulty & they now say it wasnt repaired & completely fine, totally contradicting previous email! They appear to be fraudulent. I bought a hoverboard for my daughter's Christmas gift, but one side stopped working. When I contacted customer service, they requested multiple videos daily for nearly a month. After that, they denied my refund, claiming the 30-day return period had passed, which I believe violates consumer rights. They then asked me to return the product at my own expense, which I refused. Although I was provided with prepaid postage, they refuse to accept any responsibility for damage during shipping, which is unreasonable since it means they would keep both my money and the item if damage occurred. I am now pursuing legal action and strongly advise others to do the same. Practices like this harm the reputation of honest businesses and must not continue.
AVOID! FAULTY products, INFURIATING, obstructive customer service
Ordered 2x 10" rough terrain hoverboard and 2x suspension go kart attachments for children's Christmas presents. NEITHER hoverboard has worked. They judder, beep and cease working after 5 seconds driving. The go karts are equally poor quality, unbranded, ill-fitting with velcro straps. After repeated attempts to recalibrate, following instructions and sending numerous videos we still have a situation where we have spent near £600 on two hoverboards we have never been able to use. A huge disappointment for the children on Christmas Day and beyond. And 40+ hours of effort on my part without success. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

product arrived not working (would not charge). They have made the return process extremely difficult and this is still ongoing after 4 weeks. We returned the hoverboard for a refund, which they agreed to. They have now resent out the hoverboard and not issued the refund. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. no way to speak to anyone on the phone and email responses conflict with previous responses and ignore questions asked.

Purchased this hoverboard as a Christmas present for my daughter and unfortunately it arrived faulty and completely unusable. A month later, the issue still hasn’t been resolved.
Customer service has been extremely poor — despite providing multiple videos clearly showing the fault, I keep being asked to send the same evidence again. No resolution has been offered, and despite repeatedly requesting to return the hoverboard, the company claims it is “out of warranty.” This directly contradicts their own website, which states that all purchases come with a 12-month warranty.
If you’re looking for a working hoverboard or reliable customer service, I would strongly recommend avoiding this company!!
Terrible customer service and product
Can I give no stars? Do not deal with this company - their product has arrived faulty - my child had no present that worked and to top it off this company are being a nightmare with returning a product of theirs that doesn’t work. I will not be recommending this company - good customer service is an expectation and this company have none. The phone number doesn’t work so it is constantly emailing and waiting for a response- when they respond most of the time they aren’t dealing with the problem just putting you off.

Awful awful awful. They delivered a faulty board and I queried this in the 30 day time frame and have been up against it since. Numerous phone calls that couldn’t connect, emails bouncing back, web form emails not responded to.
They are now saying that I’m not entitled to a full refund as it’s now outside the 30 day period and that I don’t have the original packaging. Makes no odds as under consumer rights act, I’m still eligible for a full refund! DON’T PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I’m logging this with trading standards and taking legal action to get my money back!
Horrendous customer service
Horrendous customer service. We received a fault product as a Christmas present. The hoverboard has never worked properly, with one side flashing red and beeping repeatedly when turned on and attempted to us. Dealing with customer service has been a genuine nightmare. No real support, just endless requests to submit videos of the faults. Eventually they asked us to send it back, but still wont acknowledge there is an issue. They have return our hoverboard in exactly the same malfunctioning state. Their communication has been obstructive and rude. I would strongly advise spending your money elsewhere.

Bought a hoverboard from Official Hoverboard as a Christmas present for my daughter. It arrived in early December, was opened on Christmas Day, and did not work at all.
The hoverboard wouldn’t charge. On inspection, the charging port was missing a pin (2 pins instead of 3) — clearly a manufacturing fault. We reported this immediately on Boxing Day and provided photos and CCTV footage proving the item was faulty on opening.
Despite this, the company blamed us for the damage.
There is no phone number, only email, and it’s been nothing but excuses and delays. We asked for a replacement for a faulty-from-new product and were refused. Instead, they tried to force a repair.
As of 21st January, this is STILL unresolved.
Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Zero accountability. If you value your money or your sanity, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Legal action now being considered.

Requested refund due to not being able to speak to anyone (phone number on website just goes to recording saying they don't n take calls). Big delays in any communication and totally ignoring my request. This was a huge amount for me to pay . I'm sickened that they get away with operating like this. STEER WELL CLEAR!
