Canadian Customer Beware - Exorbitant Hidden COD Shipping Charges
After $US to $CAD currency conversions I agreed to pay $65.40 for this shirt inclusive of shipping. They ship with DHL who charge exorbitant cross border administration fees that are not disclosed to you by this seller at time of purchase. MY COD bill was $45.07. I ended up paying over $110 for an average quality t-shirt. Don't make the same mistake. Buy from a Canadian retailer.
Also, don't expect to get your shirt for over a month. It was ordered Aug 26th and arrived Sept 29th.

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience. We do want to clarify that the $45.07 COD charge was not a shipping charge from Official Band Shirts. These are Canadian import duties assessed after the package enters Canada. We do not collect or control these charges, and our international shipping policy advises customers that additional duties / import fees may be charged by the destination country.
We completely understand how frustrating it is to receive an unexpected charge upon delivery, particularly when it significantly increases the total cost of an order.
We also apologize for the extended delivery time. International shipments can occasionally experience customs or carrier delays, but more than a month is certainly longer than we want our customers waiting for an order.
We appreciate the feedback and will continue looking for ways to make potential international import charges as clear as possible for our Canadian customers.

your website needs to be easier to read
your website needs to be esier to read. text is too small. menus are not highlighted so difficult to focus in. To lock in. Easy to search and easy to checkout. Just upgrade hte website a bit. you don't need tons of fancy graphics but a cleaner easier to focus in on shopping experience would be preferable that what it currently which is very paired down.

Taxed or tariffed shirts
Shirts take time to arrive. Also had to pay a tax or tariff on pick up about the same as cost of shirts. Nice shirts, but stay away unless you really, really, want it. Otherwise NOT worth it.

We’re sorry to hear that you were charged import fees on your most recent order. As a U.S.-based retailer, we unfortunately have no control over duties, taxes, or tariffs assessed by Canadian customs, nor do we receive any portion of those charges. These fees are determined by the destination country and can vary from shipment to shipment.
We do state on our website that international orders may be subject to local duties and import taxes upon arrival, but we certainly understand how an unexpected charge can be frustrating.
We truly appreciate your business over the years and hope you continue to enjoy your shirts.

Ordered avenged sevenfold shirt for my son, 3 weeks later order is still waiting to be fulfilled. No customer service, only ai response from a Lauren, and no hint of recognition to my concerns. Requested a refund 4 times and nothing, so reported as fraud to my bank. Best way to get your money back and hold these pieces of shit accountable.

I don't even know the outcome, as there is NO UPDATED INFO on my account. Here's my issue (please purchase from any other site - or a brick and mortar store - if you need a gift!
It is now DAY 8 with NO UPDATE. This was an anniversary gift for my husband - tomorrow, SEP 10. Where is my order? Please DO NOT give me a pre formatted 5-10 days to process! There is NO INFORMATION in the customer-facing website to even give me an ESTIMATE when I have no gift for my husband tomorrow. I'd like a little more information. If you cannot expedite this order to be here in the next two days - please ADVISE ME IF I CAN CANCEL!!!! Your company took my money, didn't wait two weeks to process it!!! I am very sad and disappointed about this purchase and LACK OF COMMUNICATION.
