Cheap knockoff with poor quality
👎 Conclusion from unsatisfied customer: Poor quality, not worth the money and time.
As I couldn't find any detailed reviews at all, I actually took the risk and purchased the software, version 19.
Turned out exactly as I feared: great potential but poorly executed. Cheap knockoff that is not reliable if you intend to use it for something serious.
First clue: they don't provide any trial, online demo, and no refund if you are not satisfied.
Second clue: there is ZERO documentation!! and it's not intuitive at all to assume that you won't need documentation. The developer claims that you should go back to him for every step you make (because you may do something "wrong").
One example of how poorly it's developed: I worked for more than 30 minutes on a view, then clicked "Close" button (designed by the software itself) to see the result, it discarded all work without any warnings or prompts, because I didn't press the save button first!!
Another example: if you dragged and dropped a field to a different container which "is not supposed to be dropped at", it will let you do it, then break the whole view, and won't be fixed even if you moved the field back. You have to reset the view and again lose all your work!!
Another example: the view design was missing very basic options: set placeholder and help tooltip of the fields. To be clear: the developer offered to add them after long conversation expressing my overall frustration and requesting a refund (refused), but that means that you would be spending weeks discovering the missing, incomplete and messed-up features and report them (often with screen video recording!) and the developer may or may not address them, so basically working for him as QA!!
All that was discovered and reported while working with only 1 model with few fields!! Imagine the mess with full application with multiple models and dozens of fields.
