So far, I'm loving the experience being behind the scenes of the reviews.... its a great opportunity and something I can do on the side without effecting my everyday routines especially with my little one. ♥️

So far everyone has been very nice, helpful, made sure I have all the information I need in order to be successful.

So far it’s been an easy experience. I’m all set up to go dine. And then I can report back more information as I’ve not yet had my first outing!

I received my window decal and I am in the process of installing it.

I haven't yet had the time to do any reviews yet but I wanted to give some feedback on the platform itself. I very much enjoy the layout and how easy it is to navigate. It is also nice to have metrics displayed as they are to keep track and to plan. It also is nice that you guys have value forward emails designed to help new users get upto speed quickly on the do's and dont's.

So far with the negative reviews not sure if folks were honest in the first place or not understanding what was asked of them. I have not seen the same but everyone is different in understanding and carrying out instructions.

I feel supported to get started. I hope to submit my first review next week.

When I started, I didn't realize it would take so long to be approved for a job. The first one I requested was Extreme Meltz. I planned to go the same day as I requested the job not realizing it would take up to 4 days. I will still complete the restaurant review and send it in knowing I may not get credit for it. We plan to go back again anyway.

After our first eat out I was eager to write our first review. However I had technical problems using my iPad. I could not go back to see what I had written or make corrections. I wrote to secret shoppers and Observati but received no reply. A week later I called Observati and was told I would get a callback the next day. It never came. I called a second time and finally got an answer, not a very satisfactory answer but an answer.

I needed help getting a replacement decal. The replacement was lost in the mail. Hazel sent a second replacement and I really appreciate that. Above and beyond!

There are numerous issues with Observati:
1. You’re charged a $19 monthly - do your math to see if it’s worth it
2. Wait time for restaurant approval and review approval lags longer than stated 72 hours
3. Some listed restaurant.com places are closed and others won’t honor the “gift card,” coupons, with the highest amount @ $25, but it requires you to spend minimum of $50 to redeem it.
4. It’s been a month and I still did not get my earnings transferred to PayPal for my reviews. Customer service says they pushed on it internally, but no results so far. Don’t know if I’ll even get paid?
5. Limited amount of restaurants listed in my city with mainly pizzas, Mexican and Indian fare, lacking variety.

After my successful placement as a Secret Shopper/food reviewer, my schedule changed from my employer and observati has been extremely understanding, and have continued in their Excellence for the routinely offerings of new restaurants for new reviews and rewards. It's always fun, and the easily submitted review, online has helped me in so many ways.

They did what they said they would, after I wrote a review, I received gift cards for restaurant.com

It’s been great. However, reviews might take longer than the 72 hours that they state. So it’s hard to plan out your strategy. My last review took over a week to get approved.

The issue I had signing up was resolved quickly by the staff via email. I look forward doing my first restaurant review since, I was approved today for tomorrow:)

This company initially offered $50 cash plus worthless coupons. That wasn't bad since I could eat a meal and submit my review ending up with at least $30 in profit. They then lowered it to $30 and now down to $20 plus those worthless coupons that very few outlets accept. In other words, you go into restaurant A and purchase an order for say $15 or more nowadays. $20-$15 net you $5. Minus your gas and you will be lucky to break even. Be warned. When you bring this up to them, they taut those coupons.
