I wanted to take a moment to update my original review after receiving a response and participating in a follow-up call with the NSLS team.
First, I truly appreciate the time they took to respond and personally reach out. My original review was based on my initial experience and understanding of the program at that time. After speaking with them, I now have a clearer and more detailed understanding of how to fully use the platform and the resources available.
I still stand by my original thoughts — I genuinely enjoyed the speakers, the overall process, and especially the SNT meetings. The opportunity to connect with others and hear different perspectives was very valuable to me.
At the same time, I originally felt that the cost did not fully match the tangible benefits. However, after the follow-up conversation, I now see that there are more long-term resources available than I initially realized — including leadership certifications, scholarships, career tools, and networking opportunities. With better guidance, I am now more confident in navigating the platform and actually using what’s offered.
I also want to thank the team for truly listening to my feedback. It meant a lot to feel heard, especially regarding concerns about cost, recognition, and accessibility. I am hopeful and excited to see how feedback like mine and others’ may help improve the experience for future members.
Overall, while my experience started with some concerns, it has grown into a more informed and positive one. With the additional knowledge and support provided, I now feel better equipped to take advantage of what NSLS offers and continue growing in my leadership journey

I truly enjoyed the speakers, the overall process, and especially the SNT meetings. Being able to connect with new people and hear different perspectives was a highlight for me.
However, I do feel that the overall value does not fully match the amount many of us paid to be inducted. While the items we receive (T-shirt, cords, sash, pin, and certificate) are appreciated, they do not provide long-term or practical benefits—especially when some universities do not recognize them. For members like myself who are already facing financial challenges in completing our degrees, the cost (close to $500 in my case) feels hard to justify.
I believe there is a strong opportunity for improvement. It would be extremely beneficial if NSLS offered accredited training, college credit opportunities, or professional development hours that could be applied within careers—especially for those of us working in fields like education. That kind of support would make a real difference.
Additionally, increasing awareness and recognition of NSLS among employers and institutions would strengthen the value of having it on a résumé. Right now, many organizations are unfamiliar with NSLS, which limits its impact.
Overall, the experience has been positive in terms of networking and personal growth, but I would love to see more tangible, long-term benefits that truly support members’ academic and professional journeys.

The process to accept the invitation was simple and very easy to go through with the code. The steps to induction was smooth and the information provided guided you to be successful in completing your steps.

It has been an awesome experience. It has allowed me to network with other professionals.

I was able to meet new people and learn fro my heir experiences. Also, by attending the SNT meetings, my motivation and determination to achieve my SMART goal grew throughout each section.

Being a part of NSLS has been a very rewarding and inspiring experience for me. This organization has helped me grow not only as a student, but also as a leader and as a person. Through the different modules, meetings, and activities, I have learned more about leadership styles, goal setting, self-discipline, resilience, and the importance of having a clear purpose.
What I appreciate most about NSLS is how it encourages personal and professional development. The program pushed me to reflect on my strengths, values, and future goals. It also gave me the confidence to believe in myself and my ability to make a positive impact on others. The speaker broadcasts and leadership training were especially motivating because they provided real-life advice that I can apply to both my career and personal life.
Overall, NSLS has helped me become more focused, intentional, and confident. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to strengthen their leadership skills, stay motivated, and continue growing into the best version of themselves.

My overall experience with the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) has been both empowering and transformative. Through the program, I was able to strengthen my leadership skills, build discipline, and develop a deeper sense of accountability—not just to my goals, but to myself. This journey has made me feel more confident and motivated to continue growing as a leader.

What I appreciated most was the community support and the balance between personal development and practical application. The goal-setting strategies, reflection exercises, and consistent check-ins helped me stay aligned with my vision while also pushing me to step outside of my comfort zone. Being surrounded by like-minded individuals who were also committed to growth made the experience even more impactful.

NSLS did not just teach leadership—it helped me practice it through practical activities in real time. Overall, this experience has significantly contributed to my confidence, direction, and ability to lead with purpose.

The experience was a delight. Every one is helpful and willing to provide and give insightful help.

I was surprised to be inducted into the NSLS and after joining, I have been able to meet some incredible people that will not only help me learn more about myself, but will help keep me accountable.

I really learned a lot of great information and I’m looking forward to using what I’ve learned and work on my SMART Goals moving forward. I’m just still waiting for my Certificate of completion ..

All what the SLS do for people success is absolutely amazing. They supporting and helpful for young people to get knowledge and success !

My experience allowed for the opportunity to learn more of ways I can grow as a leader and utilize the networks built within the NSLS to further my grow in leadership.

Honestly I was able to prove that I am capable of becoming a strong leader and look forward to many opportunities, after graduating as an undergraduate. And I’m actually ready to step out into the world and see what I am truly capable of as a young artist.

I always get a quick response when reaching out to my advisors. The structured lessons and helpful team really helped me to reach my goals! I enjoyed this experience, and appreciate the ability to use this as a reference letter for potential job opportunities.

There is no benefit after your first induction. Everything seminars, NSLS shop, are overpriced!
