The mentorship I receive, paired with my SNT meetings, provides an exceptional learning experience that was both inspiring and transformative. These sessions fueled my motivation, supported my growth, and kept me accountable to my goals. The mentor’s videos not only shared personal stories and achievements but also delivered actionable insights I can implement right away. And share with others. Collectively, these experiences boosted my confidence and reinforced my Leadership development.

I feel like it’s not so easy finding scholarships as the one available are not relevant to me. I don’t have a lot of time to wait for help, so I move on. I wish it was more user friendly, but it takes you to a ton of websites you have to sign up for then it spams the email like crazy.

NSLS was a great way to connect with other like-minded students from all walks of life and across the nation. You get what you put into it, and it gave me some new perspectives. Because it is all online, it requires some level of self discipline to stay on track. As an older student with kids, with the right support, I was able to complete the steps to induction. I am glad I took the time to participate in this journey.

I did the orientation and it was eye opening to me. There were times I lead groups of people in group projects and assigned their own task and goals that they felt comfortable with. I always had a way of understanding both sides of situations and find common ground. I thought only talkative outcoming people only had the skills to be a leader. After taking this program, I never thought that my particular skills are the keys to becoming a great respectful leader. The course is easy and sightful. After I graduate I plan to take more lessons.

The NSLS experience is truly outstanding in every aspect! The array of products and resources offered has not only facilitated meaningful lessons but has also encouraged profound self-reflection and personal growth. Each component inspires motivation and empowers individuals to strive for their best selves.

So far everything has been great with the communication on everything that’s going on. As I continue to my studies here at UNC I will do my best to take advantage of everything opportunity that comes my way through NSLS. I hope to also build my community through like minded individuals who have the same mindset and passion as I do to fellowship with. My experience with the NSLS was educational and surprisingly well done. Just knowing that famous people are the best in their own way. Just knowing that I have people behind me.

The amount of available leadership support was outstanding. The available resources are much appreciated. Wish we could just access previous recordings of speakers. But it’s possible that it’s just user error on my end so I’ll continue to play around the website.
