Excellent Service.
There have been many problems planning my system and finally a solution has been reached that I am very pleased with. The installed inverter and battery is exceeding expectations especially as the power I am drawing off the grid has significantly decreased, therefore the investment has been worth it.
Any problems have been successfully overcome thanks to Jonathon Jones and Kash Hussain.

Jonathan arrived ahead of time and was professional and friendly. He explained everything clearly and made sure everything was set correctly. There was a potential discrepancy with the contract that he sorted out for me. Nothing was too much trouble.

Do not purchase a solar system of NGH
I purchased a 5kw solar system off NGH, subsequently the inverter packed in back in September. I contacted NGH and to date (10/05/24) they have visited 4 times to ‘check’ the inverter. Every one of the engineers has said the same thing ‘needs a replacement it’s not
Something they can fix’. This is covered under warranty, and we have been apparently waiting for the inverter (Growatt) to be shipped from china since the first visit in September, so after 8 months and 33 phone calls later…. The same reply ‘still hasn’t arrived from china’. Meanwhile I’m paying extra electricity bills that I was supposed to save by out laying the price of the solar.
At what point do they take accountability and say this isn’t fair on our client!

The salesman was helpful and honest.
The installation team were great: Good humoured, well lead, worked efficiently, communicated well with me and explained what was happening, tested the system after installation, helped set up the app, gave advice for the future and even vacuumed after they completed the work. Broken roof tiles. No sign of work being done anytime soon. We were told we would have the tiles repaired by yesterday no one came. Promised tomorrow. Dno filed before installation but we will not get any money for excess energy produced for at least 6-8 Weeks (we were not told about this delay). Just wish I had seen these reviews before I went with these cowboys.shame for the contractor who did the final connection and commissioning he was great.

Further Update
Further Update - following my update post on Trust Pilot having not heard from them as promised, I was contacted by Dav who said he would contact me 19/3 to confirm their Insurance company so they can contact us re our claim.
19/3 - as promised Dav rang back and gave us an Insurance company name but believe it to be the boiler fitters individual own indemnity insurance - I have asked for clarity as to who's insurance is our claim being made with. Also another electrician is coming tomorrow to make good the electrics in utility room.
Still desperate our lounge is unusable and we need it repaired urgently.
Further update - 25/3 - it took 5 days for the "sub contractors" insurance details to be given us and NGH have told us to claim on our OWN insurance to the subcontractor insurance - our Contract is with Northern Gas Heating - so we will not be doing this !!
They had told us they didnt sub contract their work !! so we have been lied to now as well.
Having taken legal advice - and in the absence of any contact from a Director or the Complaints Department
we have issued a "Letter of Action" as they are in breach of the Consumer Rights Act, stating that we seek quotes from reputable tradespeople for the work to be done and an expectation that Northern Gas Heating pays for the remedial work to make good our house that they have damaged so extensively.
Nothing heard as yet but this company has failed to follow its own Complaints Policy so we have also raised a complaint with the Financial Services Ombudsman and raising concerns with Gas Safe Federation also.
Lets see if Legal Action is required to be taken - we have a very strong case and our solicitor is waiting for instruction - NGH have 14 days to respond to us..... I'll keep you posted.
Further update 8/4/24 - Further to the letter informing of "intended action" 2 weeks ago - we have neither had the courtesy of an acknowledgement nor any response / apology from the company. We have remained with a massive hole in our lounge - unable to use the room and a majorly scratched floor in the utility room and an unsightly area beneath the boiler. Why are we not surprised that we havent heard from them?
We are going to start to get the work rectified now and our home habitable and safe again and the costs presented via our solicitors to the Company including breach of contract, breach of Trading standards and failure to follow their own complaints procedure.
This company clearly does not care how they have left our home and the unsafe situation initially with their electricians. The have completely ignored our letter / requests - No contact from the Director has been received as requested. So as they have made their intentions loud and clear - we will now take legal action and claim through the County Court for the repairs, incompetence, stress caused, hours lost at work and the inconvenience. Be warned future customers - they really dont care !!!!

Great Support
Well, I have had amazing support from Northern Gas (who fitted my parents boiler) for my elderly parents, can’t fault them, my parents boiler had an internal fire so very dangerous, the boiler company refused to acknowledge this as the boiler was out of warranty despite the boiler manufacturer previously sending out a recall on some boilers that had had internal fires. I had support from a particular person named Davinder at Northern Gas and he was amazing, he communicated with me regularly and he took on the dispute with the boiler manufacturer, he was successful and my elderly parents had the boiler replaced by the boiler company, thanks for all your support Davinder
Nine years ago we had a new boiler
Nine years ago we had a new boiler and hot water system installed by Northern Gas Heating a company located in Wolverhampton. The service and follow up has since been good. We returned from a short holiday at 2330 on a Friday night to a very cold house. I was unable to start the boiler therefore no hot water or heating. I contacted Northern Gas and spoke to a very helpful young lady who was most understanding of our problem. She was very polite and cheerful. She spent some time trying to find a solution to our difficulties. We ended with a satisfactory conclusion. If all the staff are as good as this superbly efficient lady the company is tops.
Solar and battery storage system, refund issues...
Had a solar and battery storage system installed by Northern Gas Heating in Jan 2024. Despite a minor issue which was quickly rectified we're happy with the system.
However on the day they could only fit 5 of the 9 panels they quoted on the roof and we had to have a smaller inverter due to the DNO not accepting our G99 application. Not an issue but we should be due a partial refund for 4 panels and the difference in the inverter price. I've lost count of how many times I've called to chase the refund only to be told "someone will call you back"... They never do.
