Cryptonomy/Nomy are the same company. What started off like a legitimate business that was registered in the UK with companies house and having audits has turned into a scam and illegitimate business. It seems they were the ultimate long con. Operating for a few years with legitimacy and then ‘thieving, cheating and stealing’ every one’s crypto. They claimed to have a huge team supporting people. They would have a portfolio sale and give peoples crypto back or give the balance in USDT/C.

Instead, they created a worthless ‘Nomy’ coin that is on no exchange, and you can’t sell or swap it. All those YouTube influencers should be ashamed. No BS, Jake Gordon etc. Getting revenue from people, even writing for the scam website each month. They know who the real people are behind the company. Do the right thing and tell the authorities the real names of the people behind this. How you can sleep at night and continue to have channels on Crypto, shows the type of people you are. There are many more YouTubers who are as guilty as these.

These thieves are hiding somewhere, and someone knows where and who their real identities are. Cryptonomy had conferences in London with hundreds attending so, some people must know them. I am waiting for the day when the news is announced that these criminals have been found and the law deals with them. Those Youtubers who are complicit in supporting them should also be dealt with.

Don’t. Just don’t. Nothing but lies

I am writing this as a former Cryptonomy user who went through the full sequence: withdrawal restrictions, locked portfolio conditions, the January 30 Portfolio Marketplace event, the later February marketplace process, and then the shift into NOMY.

What troubles me most is not just that my original crypto assets became inaccessible. It is what happened after that.

My balances were carried from the Cryptonomy environment into the Nomy structure, but I still did not see restoration of freely withdrawable external assets under my own control. Instead, the process moved further into NOMY, voucher-style mechanics, and protocol participation.

That would already be serious enough. But what makes it worse is reading Nomy’s own GitBook documentation now.

Their GitBook describes NOMY as a participation asset, not ownership of the underlying Treasury assets. It says holding NOMY does not give a legal claim to those assets. It says there is no fiduciary relationship, no client-provider relationship, and no guarantee of profit, capital preservation, or token stability. It also says users participate at their own risk, and presents the protocol as operating outside a specific legal jurisdiction and not as a regulated financial service.

From the point of view of someone who started with Cryptonomy and then went through locked portfolios and two marketplace-style sale events, this is deeply alarming.

Because my question is very simple: what happened to the original assets and the original obligation attached to them?

If a user’s portfolio was locked, processed through a supposed marketplace settlement, and then replaced with NOMY, it is very hard to feel reassured when the current documentation says the replacement token gives no ownership of underlying assets, no legal claim, and no fiduciary relationship.

That is the core of my concern.

I am not making a legal judgment here. I am describing why this journey has become so troubling from a user perspective. A former Cryptonomy user could reasonably understand the current GitBook language as a move away from responsibility for the original portfolio rather than a clear restoration of it.

If the company believes that is not the case, then it should explain publicly and clearly:

What happened to the original deposited assets,
who the real counterparties were in the marketplace processes,
and how former Cryptonomy users are supposed to understand this shift from locked portfolios into a token structure whose own documentation now distances itself from ownership, legal claim, fiduciary duty, and guaranteed asset protection.

Until that is explained in a clear and credible way, I cannot view this as a transparent or reassuring outcome.

I attempted to withdraw the remaining amount in my account but later discovered that I was unable to do so since my account was frozen. Days later all of the money was gone, when I tried to contact support they kept repeating the same excuses and refused to help me get my money back. The only partner I am trusting from here on out is # gcasco # .They do what they say, they pay when they say and the consistency is the only way I'll keep moving forward.

It’s been over a year and my $33,000 is completely gone. Cryptonomy stole my money and in an effort to hide their fraud they are now Nomy.

Take a look at any of the reviews on here that are 3-5 stars. They are all clustered together and done at the exact same times. Nomy is paying people to give them reviews. Do not believe what you see! Believe a person that has lost it all to this fraudulent company! Many others just like me!

that they endorsed that has not paid out anyone as promised?! I lost my entire life savings to these crypto social media influencers that run this scam of a company. They should both be in prison right now. I have contacted the authorities. There is wrong and there is right and anyone associated with cryptonomy or nomy is a criminal because they lied and stole my money. They are wrong and they deserve to die to prison.

It's even worse than I thought. When you try to claim their voucher, they sneak in a contract asking for unlimited access to you wallet. Even my security alerts flagged it as a scam transaction immediately. It's a predatory move to drain people's account and I sincerely hope they get caught soon.
I am all about #𝘎oⅼdbⅼoom #Laboratories now. They are more open about their service and access to my money is always granted.

1 star – Scam from the start

I have been dealing with this platform for some time and unfortunately my experience has been extremely concerning.

My funds were held well beyond the agreed payout timeline, with repeated delays and conflicting information. Without my consent, assets were moved and converted, leaving me unable to access or properly manage what was originally deposited.

I also tracked transactions using a blockchain scanner and could clearly see funds being moved out after I deposited, which raises serious concerns about how this platform operates.

Communication has been very poor throughout, with delayed responses and being directed to automated systems rather than receiving proper support. This has made it extremely difficult to get clear answers or resolve anything.

I have now reported the matter to Action Fraud and have a crime reference number. I have also spoken with my bank, who have advised that this appears to have been a scam from the outset.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid this platform and proceed with extreme caution.

If you are a legitimate platform, than please give me my crypto back... as of now you are just thieves, And I really hope the you are caught.

You should claim your token with like $5 in eth and nothing else besides the $5 in eth as a burner wallet claim your token and go revoke the nmv 😂 they will no longer have access to ur burner wallet well u have $5 in it anyways

Don't be fooled into getting your Nomy coins it's a ploy to gain access to your wallet and drain it.
