My wife and I got in touch with Tom regarding our wedding catering following a recommendation. As a vegan, I was interested to hear that he was able to create a menu that included all dietary requirements.

Tom was fantastic in the lead up, always providing clear information and helping us create the perfect menu. We hired him and his team for evening food and a meal the next day.

On the day, Tom brought his team members who were also lovely people (which makes a huge difference to your event). They set up an open fire cooking pit which was as positively eventful as it was delicious. They were efficient on the day: setting up, cooking, serving, and cleaning up without any issues.

All our guests commented on their service as a whole and how good it was.

A massive thanks to Tom and the team for their addition to our wedding day/weekend.

I cannot praise the Nomad trip my daughter attended with a small group from her school highly enough. The general spirit and ethos of disconnecting from the bustle of everyday life and escaping to a place that is quiet and removed to tune into the rhythms of nature and to give the girls time and space to spend a few days in such a magical place. The adults who made this trip possible also made this trip as special as it was, these girls are so lucky to have exposure to adult role models like those on this trip who care so passionately about the girls in their care, the natural world we live in and core values. We are so thankful our daughter had this opportunity, I would absolutely highly recommend it to anyone.

Wow. It's been a few days since we came home from The Bond, reflecting on it now, it was one of the best experiences with my my Son. Tom and Lawrence were exceptional hosts. The food was was so delicious and wholesome. The stories and songs around the fire were not only magical but inspirational. The sharing circle was both emotional and enlightening. We built our own sleep shelter and fire. Watching the stars that evening with my Son was an experience we will never forget. Thank you both for a life changing 24 hours. I can not recommend this enough.

I am delighted to write this review about our retreat weekend with the family, it was an amazing experience filled with great adventures and stunning scenery. Tom our guide was an exceptional person to be around who made everyone feel welcome and safe. It is fantastic to have someone like Tom who can truly enhance the experience and make it even more memorable. It was wonderful and we had such a positive time with tom and his crew, it felt as if we all got that connection back we lost over the years and I strongly agree that this is an experience that everyone should have in their lifetime at least once, The opportunity to step away from routine, explore nature and find inner peace can be extremely rewarding. Thank you for creating this experience and bringing the bond one family once had that was lost many years ago! The kids loved it so much they cried because they didn't want to leave the experience or the guides that helped us this weekend Tom and the gang creating memories that will last a lifetime.

We arrived for a bespoke weekend for a 40th birthday as family members (and friends) who don't really see much of each other due to busy lives.
Tom, Carla & Lewis arranged a great off-grid experience for us all - no easy task with us all being so neuro-diverse in one way or another.
The food cooked was delicious and now when i walk down country lanes i no longer see weeds, i see food!
Nobody wanted to leave, least so my two boys who now see the group leaders like family.

What a wonderful experience. We were looked after from start to finish by Tom, Lewis and Carla. They were knowledgable, kind, considerate, friendly and adaptable to our our needs. The food was amazing, fresh and tasty. It was nice to spend time back into nature with some amazing calming people who held the space perfectly to allow us to enjoy getting back to nature and bonding as a family.

Absolute top service from arrival to departure. We arrived as a family group for a birthday. All age groups, all content and food was appropriate for all of us. Tom and the team were superb hosts. Dancing Tom and Lewis are a site to behold. We will definitely be back for more adventures in the woods. The kids didn't want to leave at all and there have been tears today. Long may this business survive as an example of true service.

Attended a Ffeast in December, delicious abundent food, beautiful music, relaxed encouraging space holding by Tom and all organised, welcoming and a pleasure to be at. I'd go again :-)

I attended the nomad retreat in Wales in Oct, 2021. It was a great experience. Tom has designed the whole program in a thoughtful way and also did a great job at execution.

I cannot express enough how nourishing for the mind, body and soul this experience was. In every aspect it was a journey with purpose, intention and significant experiences.
This wasn't just a weekend away but thanks to Tom, Rhiannon, Ben and the wonderful people I met during my time in magical Wales; turns out to be one of the most meaningful experiences in my life which I feel so grateful for.

What a great retreat; I was welcomed, looked after and challenged with many varied experiences, an effective mix of high adrenalin and steady calm, sharing and solitude, utilising both timeless and contemporary perspectives. All flowed together and were well paced, thought through and delivered. I was impressed with the understated but thorough understanding and care of the facilitators and returned home clearer and fitter both mentally and physically.

I cannot recommend this retreat highly enough. I was nervous upon booking to go by myself, but I’m glad I did, it made the experience very special. Every tiny detail was thought through, the food was as amazing and the staff were so welcoming. I thought it was just going to be a little get away and way to relax and unwind but it was so much more than that. I came away with new friends, more confidence, new skills and so much more. It really is a journey with purpose. Would definitely visit again. Thank you for having me.

I attended Nomad in October 2021, and it was a privilege. The owner (Tom) and facilitators put in so much effort, love and hard work, enabling a safe environment for journeyers to grow and develop personally. The team all looked after us so well, guiding us, giving us space and having honest conversations about themselves too. The experiences that I’ve had, and the people that I’ve met won’t be forgotten, I’d definitely call this a once in a lifetime experience. You’ll be challenged mentally and physically, but supported by your peers and the Nomad crew, and all off-grid within in the amazing woodlands, hills and valleys of North Wales, re-establishing connections with nature, the Earth, our ancestors and some of their traditions. The team know so much about the history of the area, about sustainability and the flora and fauna & learning a little about that was an additional treat!

One thing I absolutely need to mention is the food! You will be well fed with hearty wholefood plant based meals, we were lucky to also be provided with delicious bakes from Tom’s mom Karen.

You are going to need a good base level of fitness, I think I’d underestimated this slightly, so do consider that 13 miles of mountain trekking isn’t the same as 13 miles of walking (I was a bit out of practice, but again, looked after and encouraged all of the way!).

I’m so grateful to Nomad, in fact I’ve left with so much gratitude in my heart for many things that I’d previously taken for granted too. My journeying is far from over, I feel as though it's just beginning.

The Nomad experience was a really nourishing, kindly held and invigorating time. It was a such a balance of wild integration through the amazing knowledge shared from the hosts Tom, Donna and Rich, with the deep reflection tools and journeys that Tom lead us through too. I felt completely taken care of, guided and inspired. The fire (and hot drinks) were lovingly tended too from before we woke up until we fell all fell asleep, I can’t even explain how much of a gift that was.

Tom’s amazing cooking from the heart was another lovely gift, the site was stunning, additional challenging, caring and reflective surprises created a world away from home.

I joined the camp with stresses from the city that I’d had for months and months I left the camp feeling totally peaceful, I spend time out in nature often but as Nomad is guided with Tom it allows you to let go in to a retreat to the wilds even more.

Rich’s wood chopping, whittling as well as his and Donna’s endless foraging knowledge were more inspiring highlights.

Me and my friends did the nomad stag do. It was so different to a typical stag. We had gluten free food, no meat, no alcohol, no technology and talked around the camp fire and slept in a Yurt.

The weather stopped us hiking which was a nuisance, but we all had a great time.

Tom and his mates were very friendly and knowledgeble about the land and its history.

It was a break from our busy lives that we left behind. A nice detox!

The retreat was an amazing and unique experience. I learned so many new skills and it was an amazing opportunity to connect with myself. It definitely took me outside of my comfort zone and I felt I learned so much about myself as well. Being in nature so many days living in a very simple and fulfilling way was so rewarding. Tom is a great facilitator and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. I'd definitely go on this retreat again and recommend it to anyone that wants to live an authentic experience in nature.

A very rewarding experience, especially if you're feeling overwhelmed or stressed by your daily routine or work life. The feeling of switching off and reconnecting with yourself is something everybody can appreciate, Tom and his team will really look after you and make you feel safe. Totally recommend this to anybody!
