Good product but delivery was a let down
Good product, but let down on delivery. Someone had the smart idea of changing the delivery address I put in, to the billing address... without contacting me whatsoever!!! So turned up while I was out otherwise would have refused delivery. :(

I did put special instructions to leave…
I did put special instructions to leave my parcel in the blue bin if no answer.This was not done.Instead it was left at a shop down the road , with no note through my letterbox informing me , so I only found out a week later ,when I chased it up. Bad service.

We're sorry to hear that you had problems receiving the delivery.
Our courier UPS will usually only take goods to a collection point if there is nobody available to sign for the goods, a card should be left as a notification. It is however, up to the discretion of the driver as to whether they leave the parcel in place deem safe as they will become liable if the parcel is lost or damaged.
If you ever have any issues with orders going to collection points and you would rather delivery was reattempted, simply contact our customer services team and we will be able to rearrange a second delivery attempt.

I found assembly a bit of a pantomime
I found assembly a bit of a pantomime. Putting the recycled plastic picnic benches together yourself can be quite a task. We watched the You Tube video as well as read the instructions and there is clearly a "technique". I had to phone the suppliers for assistance as well (after hours had been spent trying to put the first one together).
I spoke to a very helpful man at the suppliers, who indicated that others had also phoned him too who had difficulties assembling the benches. I suggested that they put some sort of colour code or sticker at the vital points of assembly to help the purchaser assemble them. There is a technique.
The benches are very heavy so it's quiet a trauma to spend hours (and I mean hours) assembling one correctly to get the "technique".
In my line of work if there are 3 criticisms raised on the same thing then it's altered. A colour or indentation code would help the customers assemble them - and they are not cheap to purchase so as much instruction for assemble that can be given would be good.
So if you buy one or more, as I did, when assembled I am pleased that they are too heavy to walk off with. As they are heavy duty recycled plastic I also had some plastic cards made up and stuck one to each bench with a "not to place hot items on such as BBQs" sign on them as suspect they would scar easily if hot items were placed on them. I hope they last for many years and continue to look as smart as they do now. It should be economical in the long run as they won't rot. The 4 stars and not 5 is because a divorce nearly ensued during asssembly..........
