Socks

Shocking that you have to buy a pair of socks which for a family of four is a total rip off. Considering I have about 3 million pairs of jump station socks. They have absolutely no benefit to any other socks and are basically day light robbery.

Ninja Warrior Chatam

Ninja Warrior Chatam. Overall nice experience nothing really against it other than overpriced food and drink which is a given in 2026 anywhere you go. 4 good courses with obstacles adjacent to the show. Good inflatable area with slides and mini courses for kids.

The Duty Manager has the worst customer…

The Duty Manager has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. I was one of many people who were spoken rudely to during my visit to the Leicester ninja warriors. After reading reviews it looks like there is a pattern of behaviour which is accepted by this establishment.

After being belittling me in public, told it was my fault for the delay and the need to qué twice, to be told they bent over backwards to move out slot (did not ask for this, they told me they were doing this) it impacted the whole birthday celebrations. It is expensive anyway, the food was expensive and very slow. The staff were clearly stretched and when asked the manager if they could put more resource on the till to move the line down so people could make their time slots, he said it was fine and we should have turned up 30 mins earlier (which we did btw)

I am incredibly disappointed and fear that nothing will be done or change given the pattern of similar experiences based on other reviews with the same manager. AVOID!

Leicester Venue - Staff are vile

Absolutely appauled by my experience at ninja warrior today. I arrived with a friend and our two children who both have individual needs. At arrival we noticed multiple costumers making complains for various things and we both noticed how rude and unhelpful staff were. We were told that as the kids weren't wearing the correct footwear they would only be able to use the inflatable area which was understandable. They were told to watch the safety video and wait until the end to be escorted to the correct area as they weren't even allowed to walk on certain carpets if not wearing trainers (their words). We had booked the 11.30 session so by the time they had waited for every single child to take an individual photo before entering the ninja area I asked the superviser 'Zee' whether they would still be getting the full hour as they had lost 20 minutes waiting to be escorted. I was absolutely disgusted by his response when he told my friend and I that it wasn't his problem if the kids hadn't gone to the front to have their photos taken first. I explained that the kids had been told to wait until the end and that due to their needs they were standing with us so we could explain the safety rules. He then responded by saying that we shouldn't even be allowed in the area with our children as we hadn't paid for a wrist band. After explaining again that the kids needed help reading the safety video as they hadn't put any sound on he turned and said to me: "it's not my problem if your kid can't read". Saying this in front of my child resulted in him crying as this is something he has been dealing with. I stated that it was a rude comment to make and his response was "soz". At this point I asked his name and to speak to a manager. He refused to give his name and said "I can't be bothered to talk to you girls anymore" and turned his back. I asked to speak to the manager and he said "I'm not talking to you anymore" I have never been so disgusted by somebodies customer service in my life. When approaching another staff member who managed to get the manager, the manager stated that after talking to him he had decided that he wanted to think about whether he felt like apologising. With such a disgusting approach to both customers especially children I would have expected an apology and if not his shift to be ended. The fact the there was no consequence for such unprofessional behaviour is quite frankly disgusting. When leaving I witnessed another customer being told that if she "didn't like him then to go home' I will be writing to the head office to put forward my experience. Absolutely vile

Leicester branch - Bobby the manager = rudest person

Leicester branch.

Bobby the manager is the most rudest person I’ve ever met. Being front of house is the wrong place for him. He needs to start at the bottom and learn some manners.
The blonde girl at the front desk blatantly lied. She just handed me the grip gloves without asking me for sizes.

When I told them the size wouldn’t fit my son with a double thumb Bobby was so rude. I asked him to check cctv but refused to and kept calling me a liar. Made out some rubbish about Covid. I asked for the gloves to be changed for a bigger size. But clearly that’s something to be rude about.

But when our friends turn up, they were told if the socks don’t fit come back and change them. Clearly sweaty feet are cleaner than clean hands. Even though my son just looked at the gloves and knew he wouldn’t get them on.

They’ve just lost out on a potential birthday party booking because of the management being rude and stuck up their own backside.

Clearly they need to learn customer service skills.

Disappointing party and no follow-up

Paid £240 for a birthday party for 13 children and was very disappointed. Our party was listed as hostless despite confusing invoice wording suggesting a host would meet us. The food was poor and insufficient: two burnt pizzas for 13 children, no extra vegetarian food despite three vegetarians, and a 15-minute delay after asking twice.

I raised a formal complaint, clarified that no additional vegetarian food was provided, and have since had no response. Poor value for money and very disappointing customer service. Will never return.

Can I please leave no stars

Can I please leave no stars. My daughter has just been out tonight, in Manchester. Her friend broke her ankle within 5 minutes of being there. The whole group are absolutely traumatised by the whole evening. There was absolutely no first aid, no one seemed to know what they were doing. An absolute disgrace by all accounts. Regardless of your waivers, you better believe you’re being sued.

Absolutely shocking (Leicester)

Absolutely shocking. I went for my daughters birthday with some friends. They were told they cant go into the inflatable area unless they are wearing ninja socks. (Some had boost socks) to ask what does it matter? Well apparently boost socks are 'too' grippy! Biggest pile of turd I've ever heard of in my life. Not sure the last time the kids went on a bouncy castle and were monitored on the amounts of grips their socks have.
Brought a cake in, didn't even get it out and was made to feel as though I had smuggled 20kg of cocain through the door god forbid. They'd probably allow that. They got the
arse as one person was stuck in traffic due to a Rugby match. Anyone would think it was a military prison how they finely inspected every item of clothing. Wanting to catch you out.
I've seen a babies used nappy cleaner than these toilets and the my heart failed grandma has more puff than those 'handryers'
Won't be returning EVER! And will willing tell people how shite it is. Money grabbing, miserable, dirty.

the southampton venue

We visited the southampton venue. It was clean and staff were friendly enough. I would say that not all equipment is usable by the age groups allowed. We took an 8 year old, and although he had a go at most things, was in reality limited to the inflatable part of the venue. When booking online, be aware that their "ninjas eat free" option is very misleading, as they DONT eat free! You will still be paying for their food (albeit a very average pizza)(£9.50/£10), The cost is buried in the ticket price. If you dont want food, just select the 1 hour session at £14 instead of the "ninjas eat free" at £28! We went in a tuesday and it was very quiet, probably because their website says its shut on a Tuesday! Other than that, its a good way to let them burn off some energy.

Worst 1st impression

Paid £4 for a 2 hour session for our 2 year old. Spent about 20 mins there in total as the only thing there were two "obstacles" and the slide. My wife found a used plaster with a fair amount of blood on it. There were a few teenagers in the main area pretty much drop kicking everything in sight and two of them bundled into the baby area, the sign says it's for children aged 0-3 but they obviously had brains the size of a walnut and had to share a brain cell.

Will not be going back.

Chelmsford

There aren't enough marshals, so much so that it creates a health & safety hazard. Kids can be pushing and tackling each other, and marshals would just be looking another way. Your child is likely to get hurt, but you won't get any recompense from the Manager. Once you paid, they're not interested in you. As always, customer service is not a forte of UK-run businesses. I will not recommend Ninja Warrior Chelmsford on safety grounds. Go to another park!

(Southampton) we visited with friends…

(Southampton) we visited with friends on Easter Sunday - really surprised they were even open!
The kids had a fantastic time and totally wore themselves out, the food far exceeded our expectations and was really really good and very reasonably priced for how good it was.
Special mention to Mike who was so attentive in ensuring that everything went as well as it could with our experience whilst managing a team of young staff. He was so courteous, enthusiastic and engaging it really made a lasting impression.

(Leicester) Appalling new rules which…

(Leicester) Appalling new rules which seem to change with each visit!
Visiting and paid for a two hour slot for my son’s 12th birthday with four friends.
Coat £97 with his free one hour, great you may say until you get absolutely stung with all the other rubbish.
All boys play football and came prepared with high quality grip socks. Have always worn their own, not today! They are required to meet their standards. £13 later as they are insisting they can’t go on the inflatable section as they have before without their own branded socks of terrible quality.
I can’t sit in the higher section of the cafe area to look out for the boys and get better pictures as I’ve always done previously because it’s “out of bounds for public” for no apparent reason other than I can only assume the staff don’t want to walk up an extra flight of steps to wipe a table.
Order extortionately priced pizza for the size.
Asked how many slices, 8, great an easy share between the boys x2 pizzas. WRONG. They came out the size of a single person pizza from any pizza shop.
Took a cake for my son, asked for a knife…’NO’ He supposedly turned a blind eye when he saw me with cake (the huge box I carried through reception to zero comments) and won’t allow me to use the wooden knifes on top of the counter to cut a cake.
If I continue to try and cut the cake I will be told to leave with one hour remaining.
Called a manager, stoney faced clearly to try indicate her authority but just looked ridiculous.
So.. if I pay for a party package I can take a cake.
I haven’t so I can’t and that may be a risk to others around with allergies, bear in mind of our own children have serious food allergies.
I ask other than the cost to you what’s the difference? That would be that the food is contained to a party room. Our kids will touch bannisters and go on equipment and put others at risk.
Now, having attended parties here, in a party room I can assure the staff that no children left that room washing their hands first before touching anything else.
When I pointed out that when ordering food the question wasn’t asked about allergies and no information readily available to see if the poxy pizzas contained anything to be wary of, voices became a little more agitated from said staff.
Also pointing out I have sat there watching people bring snacks and drinks out of bags and no one has approached them with threats of having to leave. Reply…I can’t see anyone now.
Also pointed out I have been here numerous times and brought birthday cake/traybake etc in and it’s NEVER been an issue.
Obviously we will not be returning, not to Leicester anyway after travelling an hour to get here.
Absolutely appalling and put a real big cloud over my son’s day!!!

Disgustingly rude manager Jane

Absolutely appalled by the service. We were made to wait 30 minutes before being allowed to enter as the previous party ran over schedule and then we were forced out. Jane the manager came into the room and demanded we leave whilst cutting the cake which was completely unprofessional.

Absolutely disgusted at the service.

Socks are a cash grab

Came last week and no problems going on the inflatables with grippy socks that weren't their own. This week they wouldn't let my daughter on without the branded ones. The receptionist had said we could go through and try, see if the marshalls would allow it. But she then came over to the supervisor and I saw her pointing us out, them the very second my daughter went to the inflatables, the Marshall there was radioed to stop her. Her socks have more/better grips than the NW ones but still weren't acceptable despite no issues last time. Just a pathetic cash grab. The manager said its company policy and a health and safety issue but couldn't explain sufficiently why they were any different. The nearby Air Haus is practically identical in terms of the inflatable area and they don't even require socks of any kind. If NW want to insist people wear their socks, they should be provided free of charge, otherwise allow similar safety socks. Was told insurance won't cover that, so change the policy so it DOES include similar safety wear. We all sign waivers anyway so can't sue them regardless.
