The video survey to estimate our move was easy to navigate even when the signal failed, I sent an attached clip of the garage contents. The quote was competitive. All queries were answered promptly, and there were many. The date moved multiple times, it was no problem. The team arrived on moving day, held up in traffic and a little late but were efficient and worked hard with focus packing our belongings. Day two having stayed locally in the vans they completed packing and loading and headed off for the long drive west. Moving in day next day went swiftly with all moved in efficiently. The crew were great. Highly recommend the Weston- Super- Mare branch.

I had a deeply negative experience with Nightingale Storage and Richard Nightingale in particular.

When I raised concerns, Richard yelled at me on the phone and then stopped taking my calls entirely.

He pushed the moving/storage timeline as far as the contract would allow, leaving me without support at a critical time.

At the time I was pregnant, which made the lack of support and aggression even more distressing.

Communication was consistently poor, with unanswered messages and delays that felt deliberate.

After my experience, I looked into the company further and found that my issues were not unique — there are public reports and reviews describing similar patterns of unprofessional and aggressive behavior.

Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with hostility, avoidance, and delays from the company you’re paying to help. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for a reliable and respectful mover/storage provider.

This company are a nightmare to deal with, no one know anything and every request is met with, " you need to email accounts for that "

They finally charged over double what was quoted, failed to send any form of itemised bill or invoice and wouldn't deliver anything until it was paid in full, still no itemised bill, and then they refused to unpack because we had nothing to prove that we had paid for unpacking.

Trustpilot seem to think that these people are untrustworthy, I would tend to agree.

My advice, for what its worth, is that you should avoid this company at all costs.

This is our second move in 19 years and both have been with Nightingales. We cannot recommend this company enough. From the quotation, to the office team and the actual move the service was prompt, friendly and well delivered. Thank you to everyone involved. We used nightingales to move us from Somerset to Devon, a 2 day move. From the first phone call to them they could not have been any more helpful, and supplied all packaging materials and boxes for our move completely free, within the fixed price.We had great communication, even when our moving day was being moved around by others in our chain. On the move days all our possessions were moved with care and efficiency and we really thought that this was the most stress free we had been for weeks. I can’t recommend Nightingales enough and have recommended them to family and friends.

We had a serious last minute hitch with our house move through the fault of a housing developer. It sent us into a tail spin of what we were going to do as we had to move out from our existing house. Steve at Nightingale came to our rescue with options to solve the problem. Super friendly, helpful and professional. It was so reassuring. Thank you Steve for being ace 👍.

Professional and friendly service from all involved. On moving day staff turned up on time and were friendly, efficient and nothing was to much trouble.

Bob and Mischa were conscientious, capable, cheerful and so considerate. As team lead, Bob's customer focus and leadership skills were excellent; his packing of the delicate items was thorough and everything, delicate or otherwise, arrived in perfect condition. It was a difficult couple of days with my mother-in-law having to downsize significantly from her home of 40 years, but their efficiency and kindness ensured everything ran smoothly and with minimum upset. Both are a credit to their company, and we will happily recommend them to anyone looking for a trouble-free move in the future.

Third time using this Company and 5 star service.

Ours was a 3 day move in very hot weather and a long distance too. We can't praise the removal team enough - punctual, friendly, helpful, polite and very hard working. We trusted them implicitly. I would highly recommend using Nightingales. Thank you.

I did find communication at the office a little frustrating at times

I wish I had got other quotes and not looked at the reviews here thinking they were ok. They were twice as expensive when I got quotes after.
I now see that this company has 2 Trustpilot profiles. One for their .co.uk website and one .com. It’s the same company, and the same website, but it seems they are trying to create a new 5 star image. Trustpilot has highlighted that the old profile has breached their terms and conditions and is misleading. Their removals crew were ok but they damaged my stuff. I paid for insurance but a guy called Richard said I wasn’t covered under their insurance. He wouldn’t tell me who the insurance company was. Next time I’m hiring a man with a van. No point in using a company like this. They say they provide free boxes but they ask for £100 deposit then forget to refund and kick up a fuss when you ask for it back. I tried calling another depot to talk to someone else. They haven’t got depots all over the country. They have just got the one office in Weston super mare according to the girl on the phone. They use the Which logo on their Google reviews. I emailed Which. They are not registered with them. Not happy with these guys at all. Trustpilot please review the profiles of this company

The guys that came from Nightingales to move us went above and beyond their duty to us to make sure our move was as seamless as possible.

Thank you Russ, Kray, Aaron and Dion. You are all the best... Funny, kind, brilliant at your job and amazing at getting over obstacles that were thrown in your path. You were all resourceful and so quick at completing the difficult task (bringing furniture up two flights of stairs!). If I had to give marks or of 10 it would definitely be 12! Thanks again boys I can't tell you how grateful Bob and myself are for all your hard work.

Russell moved me from London. Furniture in storage and today he delivered my furniture from storage. The man is a genius, a true grafter, never stops, gets furniture to fit where no furniture should....cool calm and collected with a wicked sense of humour, he is a delight. On the removal day, actually on the day!! a company we booked didn't show. Without Nightingale and their willingness to step in at last minute, things would have been catastrophe. Nightingale literally saved the day!!

These people were half the price of another local company but the best move we have ever had

We used them for storage, modern and heated, we even had a tour prior, our furniture was immaculate when it was redelivered, no musty smell
