It's a fun way to create AI art. The community is good, and I've always had a positive experience on there. There are loads of options, both free and paid plans. Plenty of challenges to test yourself with. Their learning curve is easy, and once you know how command prompts work, you can make some very cool-looking pictures. It's such great fun.

I've been using NightCafe for a number of years now and enjoy the images I create using their varied AI styles. Sometimes, but not often some of the artwork can turn out a bit crazy. But you can re-do the image till you get what you want.

I mostly get what I put in. I say that because I’m not very good at prompts. I really like that I have a lot of free choices and able to use credits which build every day. The suggested prompts always produce amazing results.

Nightcafe is inspiring , great tools and worth exploring as an artist or lover of art .

Working with Night Cafe has been very useful for me. I think it is a very good artificial intelligence because it understands the language of the prompts I write well and also helps in converting the image into a prompt. Thank you.

I highly recommend that you stay away from NightCafe altogether. But if you must use it, be sure to download all of your art the minute you create it. Why? Because they will suspend your account at any time for no reason, and customer support will completely ignore you.

I had an account that I built up for over a year with thousands of images. I shared a phone with my special needs daughter who one day accidentally forgot to log out of my account and into her own. She was in the app only a few minutes, just long enough to share an image she created to ask a question in a chat room. When the mods saw it, they suspended BOTH of our accounts.

First, she didn't know she was logged into my account. Second, she didn't know she was breaking a rule or she wouldn't have done it. She is a sweet, simple child, who simply does not have it in her to break rules. But I explained it to her and she accepted responsibility, and she understands why her account had to be shut down.

But then when I try to log in, my account was suspended too! I didn't understand because I had not broken any rules. It was my account that had been breached, however innocently. I did not break any rules. So I sent an email to customer support who promptly told me that I had broken a rule and that's why my account was suspended. Even after I explained what had happened.

After that, I sent over a dozen more emails to the support department asking to do reinstate my account, and every single one of them has gone ignored. They will not reinstate my account. Worse, they will not even acknowledge me.

And so my next step is to wage a social media campaign letting everyone know what dirty rotten dealers they are for suspending my account when I did nothing wrong. I had built up thousands of credits and thousands of images on that account that I can't get back. I had considered opening a pro account but I won't do it without those images and credits.

I will also be reporting to the better Business Bureau and Attorney General, but since they are a foreign company, I don't know what good that will do.

As a retired person, I have nothing but time on my hands, so I can write reviews on every reviewing entity available online and I can do it every single day. That is what I intend to do. If I can save one other person from being screwed over by NightCafe, I will feel that I have done a service to the AI art community.

I don't like NightCafe.

I am driven to write this review having read a good number of the reviews here.
Although I have not fallen foul of their moderators myself, I know of many users who have received unfair bans, deletion of their creations, and even complete shutdown of their accounts for no apparent good reason. Of course, the moderators cite their Community Standards, but these standards, as they are published, are vague and contradictory, to say the least, and the moderators are clearly not above imposing harshly punitive bans on users for things that are not actually cited in their published community, as and when they see fit.
In conversations with other other users, it seems apparent that the moderators are rude, and refuse to engage in any kind of dialogue with the user, stating that their decision is final, and they then refuse to answer any further emails. This is even true for users who have paid a subscription, and who are then deprived use of the services that have paid for. I believe this to be borderline criminal behaviour, in view of the Australian Consumer Law. Sadly, being in the UK, there's not much I can do about that.
The quality of the images produced by the various models available on NightCafe is not particularly high, with absolutely laughable nonsense often being the result of a clearly prompted creation.
As a child's plaything, NightCafe might have some value, although I would be inclined to keep any child away from the millions of horror, death, and war themed images that are hosted there with no barriers.
I also agree with another reviewer here, who said that bullying behaviour in the comments goes completely unchallenged by the moderators.
After several months of use, and having considered setting up a Pro subscription, I have decided to leave NightCafe, for the reasons I have stated.
In short, It's not for real AI artists, unless you have money to burn, and are happy to run the risk of losing all your work, and your subscription money, at the whim of a faceless and unresponsive moderator.

Do not EVER pay for long term subscribtion - this website may terminate Your account without any early warning - I've managed to pull my money back only because I've used PayPal and it was very long and dificult process ! Read their privacy policy they worse than Facebook. Remember You may loose all Your money ! They do not refund unless PayPal doing it !

Permanent ban for Fine Art — very poor customer experience,
I renew ny subscribtion to NightCafe, but only three days later my account was suspended because of an image that AI filters had already approved. The artwork was fine art — no explicit nudity, no gore.
When I contacted support to clarify the reason and asked either for a refund or at least the ability to export my images, the reply contained categorical threats of permanent suspension instead of an explanation. The tone was strictly punitive rather than informative.

As a paying customer, I consider this unacceptable: I lost access to download my previously generated work, was denied any refund, and faced permanent suspension merely for requesting clarification of the decision.
NightCafe’s moderation feels arbitrary and unprofessional, and their customer service does not meet basic standards of respect.

only used as a fun tool. site is moderately easy to navigate. takes a while to get used to creating worthwhile ai art. beware the moderaters tho, they be mad as hatters from what i have seen and heard thru other users. recent saw a user ban for same as thousands of other similiar pics. worth it if you dont ruffle feathers. do not hold your breath if your email is criticisism of site, another user sent repeat complaint emails, no reply

Night Cafe AI a solid platform form that is sadly put down by bad moderation team. They clearly don't care about the users and ban them out of the blue with 0 warning. Paid users of more than a year here and got banned and there was no way to discuss with them and understand exactly what gone wrong.

They really need to first contact ppl before banning them.

I have had no problems since I started using the site. As a free member it all went as it should and any questions I had were answered quickly and satisfactorily.
Since become a pro member I am happy to report much the same. I have had no issues. The site is smooth and well organised. Help is available and their deals are good. I would recommend it to anyone.

The images created are mostly very pretty to look at, and the AI can generate images of a range of different styles - photorealistic, cartoon, impressionist etc etc. But they simply cannot follow detailed instruction. As others have commented, it can only produce images of a general nature with vague description. However, as beautiful as it may look, it cannot handle any details in the description or handle multiple objects. A good example is if you ask for deer and rabbits in a garden, the AI will create a hybrid of rabbits with white dots on their back! I am not exaggerating. I experimented hundreds of time on a range of themes and cannot say that we got even one image that showed exactly what I wanted.
Definitely not a program I will pay to use. The search continues.

Terrible. It is so nanny state, and it has a terrible ability to vet material attempted to being uploaded. Avoid using this platform at all costs; it seriously sucks.

My experience with Night Cafe has been absolutely terrible. My account was closed abruptly and without any prior warning or explanation. What's even more frustrating is their customer service: despite reaching out multiple times, they provided zero reasons or clarification for this action.

This arbitrary account closure and complete lack of support is unacceptable. Users should be aware that their accounts can be shut down without cause, and you'll get no help from their team. Extremely disappointed and would advise caution.

This AI tool is for children that take it as the joke it is, that's about it. I have had an account for quite a while, and even my kids don't like it, because it consistently fails to give you what you want.

The biggest issue is you can't give it too many details, or else it ignores 98% of those details and just mindlessly wanders off onto something entirely tangential. So, you can give it a VERY general idea of what you'd like, but it has to be VERY general. Too much detail, or ask for multiple people in the image, and it can't handle it.

It's ok if you want some images slopped together about a general concept, but this AI is not very "I" to say the least. If you are expecting to turn your wildest dreams into images, you're going to be severely disappointed with Nightcafe
