I am a full time mum but really wanted to jump in and learn all things beauty. I looked at doing my cert 4 in beauty but I wasn't able to juggle the work load with a 1 year old.
I came across National Institute of Beauty through a close friend. It was affordable, and I was able to pick and choose how long to complete each course. It was flexible and exactly what I was looking for.
The learning is great and very informative, staff are very attentive and ready to help with any issues. I have had a pleasing experience in completing my facial course, relaxation massage course, tinting (brow and lash) and lash perming course and I look forward to finishing my next classes in the future.

I’ve done the hairdressing course online with NIB and it’s the best decision ever. I have 3 kids and have been trying to do a course for about 10 years but can never get the time to do it or they have been too expensive.

When I found this course I spoke to them for ages before I decided to do it because I through it would be too hard for me. I was wrong because the course has been great and it’s been really easy to do in between all the other things I have to do like looking after my kids. I did take a long time to finish the course because I got sick for a while but I came back and they were great with me.

Because I live in the country and know everyone here it was easy to get models to practice on and they loved my work even when I was doing the course. Most of them now pay me to do their hair and I still have heaps of product left from the kits I got from the course. I got down a few times because I was having trouble with coluring but Bianca kept pushing me and helping me and I got through it and now can do great hair cuts and colours.
I have now been finished for 4 months and have started my business. I have some regular clients now and it keeps growing every week. My goal was to replace my part time job and I have already done that and now I can’t wait to see how much I can make. I think I’ll do another course as well soon because there’s not much around where I live and everyone tells me I’m really good at this stuff.

As a qualified hairdresser (South Africa), I was looking for an affordable, self-pased short course to refresh my knowledge and at the same provide me with an Australian Certificate. I found it very empowering.
The best part was that it was 100% self-pased with no deadlines (as life always throws some unexpected curve balls). I studied the relaxation massage course through National Institute of Beauty. I found the course really great, a good amount of theory. The videos made everything really clear and easy to understand and really helped me grasp the techniques.The practical requirements of the course were great - made sure I was definitely confident to start my own little massage business. The course was well worth the financial investment.

Just finished my waxing and will be working towards my other subjects so I can have a home business. They have a lot of awesome flexible options which I found to be good as I didn’t have as much of a time pressure and could actually think

Having the course be at your own pace was a god sent. As a busy University student being able to complete the content at my own pace was amazing! I am so grateful for all the help that the team gave me, when I had a question about anything I was able to receive an answer within the hour. Everyone was so understanding and encouraging… here I am now a certified nail technician.

I recently completed my nail technology course. The videos and all the information was great. I received a lot of help from the lovely team and I will be opening up my own nail studio upon completion of the course. I highly recommend this course to any aspiring nail technicians. Absolutely loved this course for a Nail Technician. The modules were easy to follow with a high level of information and videos were clear and easy to follow.

I had an amazing experience training with NIB, the feedback was quick and so through and simple to understand. The training guides are fantastic and well detailed. The app you use whilst doing your assessments make it super easy to make sure you take the correct shots. I can not wait to use my qualification to excel as a nail technician that has skills to complete a high standard of manicure and pedicure treatments.

Loved this course

I was very indecisive with what course to go with for lash extensions. But i am so happy that i went with these guys. It had been such an enjoyable experience. I have learnt so much and am confident with my skills I have developed throughout this thorough learning process. I can’t recommend them enough and will always be thankful for this experience.

I'm now qualified and have set up my own nail salon in Dannevirke New Zealand.
I absolutely love doing nails and I wish I had found this course years ago.
