Was on offer when buying the 522GW dash cam which was great. Very easy to install, just push into the side of the camera and adjust the sight. Originally unsure whether to get this or the rear camera. But didn't want to bother with the whole job of installing the rear camera. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the picture through the rear window. Would definitely recommend.
Could not use as it bit suitable for uk cars

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate this. I'm sorry to hear you feel the rear view camera cannot be used in your vehicle.
I would suggest exploring the possibility of moving the camera position slightly, in order to provide the rear camera line of site of the rear.
We would not expect the camera to be placed in the drivers view, and the small rear camera addition should not add too much more length.

Worth its weight in gold, great piece of kit, every person should have one.
Simple and ready to use. Just plugged it into my 322GW and set the camera angle for rear window. No issues to report only owned for a month. Good quality for price, main reason for buying over a rear fitted camera was ease of fitting.
I was surprised at how good and clear this is. I have a rear camera installed in my car at home, but wanted something for traveling in a hire car. This is a perfect solution.
Although this item is a good quality camera due to the the rear window angle of my car it simply doesn’t work, in hindsight I would have been better getting the actual rear window camera.
The big plus is the convenient attachment to the dash cam , saving a lot of wiring. The downside is I expected more of a telephoto lens; however, if you need to review what happened behind, you can zoom in on an image on your phone or tablet to note down any number plate.
In previous car the rear camera was mounted on the rear screen. This plug's into the front Dashcam and seems to work just as well so would definitely recommend.
Never thought I’d need one of these until someone ran into the back of my previous car which was fitted with the 322GW including rear camera and provided the accident evidence.
Think we paid £70 or the equivalent to have it in a bundle which is expensive it functions well enough and should be standard with some models.
For such a small camera that just clicks into the front view camera they are very good.

Quick to fit & connect to main camera
Limited rear view, and put down the sun shade!
This plug-in rear facing camera module needs a greater range of adjustable angle for the camera, as when it's plugged in to the main unit and positioned so that the main unit is facing the road ahead correctly, the rear facing camera cannot be angled sufficiently to aim through the centre of the rear window - the best angle view it can get is partly obscured by the side of the drivers head!
Replaces older model, hope it lasts as long
Although I was aware that filming from the front of your car through the rear window was never going to be as good as a proper camera in the back this item was a real disappointment. The bottom line with this camera is your scope to get good footage behind you is limited but the worst thing I found was the drop in quality (front & rear) to just 30 frames per second. Some people may be happy with that but you really notice the difference. I was going to return my dashcam & this additional camera but couldn’t be bothered so I just don’t use the additional camera. The main dashcam this fits is ok but I will be moving it to my wife’s car once I select a better front & rear option.
