Newlyn Tinning Fine Copper Cookware Anmeldelser

Michael Bateman
We bought our copper pans over 30 years ago in France. They were badly in need of retinning. So glad we found Steve and Newlyn Tinning. He kept us updated throughout the process, which was quicker than we expected.
Got the pans back today looking brighter than when they were new.
Thank you very much.
Very happy customer.

I had a tankard which was in poor condition, a bit leaky and reclining required. This was a charity shop purchase which didn't cost the earth, it appeared to have some age to it.
Looked up re tinning services and sent photo to Stephen. Who said he could have a look at it.
Sent it down to Newlyn and Stephen was in contact a couple of weeks later.
Unfortunately due to the materials used in the tankard (Indian apparently) he was unable to re-tin it. It was returned to me all clean and shiny with leaks sealed.
I was in e-mail contact throughout and am very happy with the service provided even though re tinning wasn't possible.

Did a really excellent job refurbishing and re-tinning my copper sauté pan. The pan was in poor condition beforehand but is now gleaming and transformed. Communication, price, time taken were all excellent. I can’t recommend Newlyn Tinning highly enough and I will definitely use them again in the future should the need arise.

Trusted Newlyn Tinning purely on reviews and I'm glad I did, thanks to Steve for the up most professional service, his work and custom was of the highest standard.

Newlyn Tinning did a fantastic job on my two flambe work frying pans which when purchased for £2.50 each from a charity shop had been used to death with little or no tin left on them now having spent some money on them they are good for another fifty years if used correctly.
Thank you Steve and team

Highly recommended
Sent 4 very old pans, they came back as good as new. Steve is very nice to deal with. Prompt service.

We were very impressed with the professional service we received. Our pans were re-tinned to a very high standard. Some didn’t require re doing and Steve let us know instead of just going ahead anyway.
Prompt service too.
We would definitely recommend to others.

My experience of Newlyn tinning has been excellent. The reception when I took my cook ware into the firm was friendly and very informative. I had to wait a little time before the work could be completed but when it was finished the cookware was returned to me in brilliant condition and posted and packed faultlessly. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting their copper pans re-tinning.

Excellent service. My pan is now like new despite being over 30 years old.

Completely delighted with the service, quality of workmanship and price.
When the pans were returned, thoughtfully and comprehensively packed, they came with care and use instructions.
Steve, the owner is also generous with his advice and a pleasure to deal with.

Very prompt responses and a good turn around. I had 3 pans retinned and Steve has done a great job. They look great and are really good to cook with.

I received my pan back this morning and it looks s stunning!! Like new!! I am thrilled with the service, the friendly nature of Steve and his professionalism. Would definitely recommend. Thanks so much!

I could not believe what a fantastic job Steve did with my thirty year old large sauteuse pan. It looks so good now, even better than when I bought it, that I hardly dare use it - but I will be, with immense pleasure. Thank you so much.

Delighted!

Steve did a fantastic job, giving our collection of pans a new lease of life, whilst retaining the integrity of their age. He also made the whole process of collection and delivery so easy.
He answered all our questions promptly and kept us up to date at all stages.
We would certainly use Steve's services again and can wholeheartedly recommend him!

My pots came back restored to their pristine glory! So happy with the service and personal service.

TOP MARKS!!

This was one of my most lucky finds on the internet. My copper pots had needed retinning for a long time and I had not been able to use them. Newlyn Tinning gave me an estimate, a timing when they would be ready, how best to send them and then did a wonderful job. A - stars all the way!

The latest purchase from Steven at Newlyn Tinning has only served to endorse what a superb product and attention to detail that he provides. Customer service is a by word and Steven is to be congratulated for both this and the quality of his products. He is also a generous person given that I tried to place an order for a product that had already been sold, but Steven ensured I was not disappointed. Thank you for that Newlyn Tinning.

I'm a repeat customer for good reason -- Steve has beautiful and unique items, and I love the copper I've bought from him.
