We started looking at getting Solar installed back in April. We wanted to try for a grant as my husband is disabled and very ill so we qualified. We got quotes from 3 companies and Neuheat were there only one of the three who said they could get the grant. However probably a month later and we hadn't heard anything so I tried getting in touch. When I finally got a callback I was told we had missed out on the grant. We were offered a discount instead and as we had already paid our deposit we decided to accept it. We were promised installation within a couple of weeks. Well the supposed installation date came and went and no sign of any install. Trying to contact anyone at Neuheat has been hit and miss and mostly miss. I was told install would happen on 3 different dates and each time no one turned up. I was able to inform them that I wanted to cancel the install and wanted my money back. However, it took me many texts , calls and emails and then finally lodging complaints with the Bank, the NICEIC and Trustmark before I finally, informed them by text and email I'd be instructing my solicitor. This finally got us our deposit back. 4 months wasted where we could have been using Solar power. I hope this review helps someone else, I would not get involved with this company.

Applied for grant Started back in early April Pd deposit to then be informed that application was unsuccessful.Been waiting weeks for deposit to be returned No answer on phones Emailed and keep getting empty promises that it will be in bank by end of day Funny enough never appears Going to start legal action to recover deposit Anyone else the same ??

Had solar and battery installed 20/4/26
Battery faulty since install
3 months later, 3 return visits and the battery still faulty, connections exposed and ZERO communication from Neuheat despite phoning (no get no answer or callback)
Emailing (as above, zero replies to queries)

Has anyone else paid a deposit & now noone is answering their phones @neuheat?

Jacob was very informative and explained the detail of solar panels and battery required etc. He gave the right amount of information and didn’t put any pressure on us. We also got approved for the solar voucher, which made the choice really easy! thank you neuheat renewables.

Got approved really fast for the warm homes voucher. Got a full system for 4,500.

Install was smooth also!!

Fantastic company to deal with from start to finish. They were clear and precise when explaining how everything works.
Would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for Solar
