We specialise in providing vehicle registration numbers to meet your personal needs. We treat each customer as an individual and not another transaction. We pride ourselves on our personalised customer service and competitive prices. Since these humble beginnings, our company has grown from strength to strength and now has diversified into selling numbers via our own website and the motoring sections of national newspapers and magazines including leading titles such as The Daily Express, The Daily Star, The Daily Telegraph and Top Gear Magazine, just to name a few. For your piece of mind, we accept payment from all major debit/credit cards, cheques, Bank transfers and paypal. Our registered business address is Transfer House, 71 Lincoln Road, Birmingham,B27 6PQ. As one of the leading number plate companies operating in the UK, we buy and sell all types of registrations to suit all types of budgets and pockets. If you are thinking of selling your cherished number plate or you are thinking of buying one.
I have just sold my Cherished number plate with NetPlates who have been absolutely 5* through out the process.
From my first contact their communication and answering and questions that I asked they have been speedy in their response and accurate.
NetPlates - advised me through the process and timeline of the sale of my Cherished Number, when the transfer was completed and when their payment transfer would be paid into my bank account.
Here is a copy of the email that is sent to them earlier today - To say thank you to Team NetPlates.
Dear Jayne,
Just to say thank you for how well and professionally the NetPlates team have handled the sale of my Cherished number plate from Listing thru too it’s sale.
Also, to confirm that I have just received your payment to my bank account as you advised me.
My thanks once again and my kind regards
Stan Aspinall

Avoid this seller
Avoid ! This online company Advertise number plates that don’t exist , tried to purchase a number plate from them , had an email back to allow 7 working days to check if it’s available , went over the 7 working days heard nothing ! Contacted them myself as fed up waiting and no surprise it’s not available! . Have tried purchasing this certain plate advertised on several online plate seller websites this one included , no guarantee is provided from the seller that it is for sale. They ask for the purchase money up front and assure you it’s fur sale then the money sits in their account earning interest , just avoid them , waste of peoples time !!! In fairness this one never took any money upfront but communication was bad , just tread carefully with these online plate sellers unless it’s DVLAs main website

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are sorry that your experience did not meet the standard of communication we aim to provide.
We would, however, like to clarify how Netplates operates. We do not take payment for a registration until we have confirmed that it is available and that the seller has the correct paperwork in place to proceed. As you have acknowledged in your review, no payment was taken from you while we were carrying out these checks.
Netplates owns a number of registrations directly, but we also advertise thousands of registrations on behalf of third-party sellers. Consequently, when an enquiry is received for a third-party registration, we have to contact the seller to confirm that the registration is still available and that the necessary documentation is in place before we can proceed with a sale.
Unfortunately, registrations can sometimes be advertised by multiple plate dealers or become unavailable while they are still being advertised elsewhere. This is why we check availability before requesting or accepting payment. We believe this is a much safer approach for customers than taking payment first and attempting to resolve availability afterwards.
We appreciate your feedback and hope this explanation provides some clarity around how our process works.

Satisfied Customer
Having never sold a personalised vehicle registration, I was somewhat wary about some of the companies out in the market. The service and efficiency of Net Plates, however, was both excellent and efficient, far exceeding my expectations. They were extremely helpful at each stage of the sale process and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Thank you for your review.
We are glad that you are happy with the service received. We always aim to provide a professional, friendly service.
The number plates are an optional extra which we believe are competitively priced. The price includes delivery to your door. We make and dispatch the plates on the same day they are ordered so that they are ready to use as soon as the registration has been assigned. If buying physical plates elsewhere you would need to wait for the transfer to be completed first before you could purchase plates from a third party supplier. Unfortunately, the postal delivery time is beyond our control.
Please don't hesitate to contact us should you wish to buy or sell a registration in the future.
