Quality is variable for items that cost a large amount of money. Had to return one jumper because it had a hole in it. Also, the fact that they do not offer free delivery and instead think that it’s acceptable to charge you £5-7 for something that costs hundreds of pounds is pretty telling. As nice as the clothes are, I won’t be buying from them in future.
The Relaxed Sweatshirt by Navy Grey is exactly the same as the Organic Oversized Crew by Colourful Standard, except the Navy Grey one is over double the price!
I have worn, washed and compared both in detail: same cut, fabric, weight, stitching, the only difference is the colours.
I really wanted to support this brand, so I wrote to Navy Grey to ask how they justify their mark up - given an identical product is available for so much less - and they couldn’t.
This has left me very disappointed. The brand’s marketing and story is excellent, but the pricing (at least of the sweatshirts) is simply taking advantage of consumers.

At Navygrey, we design exclusively for women, working with carefully sourced raw materials and small-scale, highly skilled makers to produce our pieces in limited batches. While we don’t own our own factories - unlike some larger brands that operate at a different scale - this allows us to focus on craftsmanship, traceability and responsible production. Our pricing reflects the true cost of this considered, small-batch approach.

Beware of return's charges! The company states on their website that the returns are free if returned before 14 days are up. I posted the jumper back the next day after receiving it and received a notification from them saying that the polo has been received back but they will process the refund in due course, this was well before 14 days were up. They now have processed the refund past 14 days and I got charged a whopping £7 for the return. This insane! Would you pay £7 to try a jumper on in a shop? I am a returning customer too who previously kept their £300 cardigan.

Thank you for your feedback and we’re very sorry to hear that you were not happy. We know that Sarah from our Customer Services team was in touch with you about this at the time. As she clarified in her correspondence with you, there was no charge for your return - the £7.00 to which you are referring was the charge for the initial delivery fee, which Sarah also sorted out for you with a full refund.

I was given a chunky cardigan from Navygrey for my birthday by a member of my family. It was beautiful but was too big for me. The person who gave it to me was not around so I wrote an email to the company asking if I could get a straight exchange. I had no answer to my first email and had to write again and eventually got a response. The person I dealt with (Sarah) was very helpful and I was able to get an exchange. The knitwear from this company is beautiful and you can see that a lot of thought and work has gone into each item. I know my new cardigan will last for years but I still felt that it was overpriced. I have seen knitwear of a similar quality for less on other websites.
Item (cream cardigan) arrived with a grey smudge on the arm. Have returned for a refund. The response was ‘It’s tricky to work out the mark but if you’d like to send this back to us, we can have a look further for you to sort it out’. Really? At this price point you’re sending out items that have clearly not been quality control checked? No thanks
